That's it, really, although I won't say which one and can only answer general queries 😊

do I need to inform you of every change in my medication? like if I get put onto a different dose of something for a while? if i don't inform you, will that invalidate my policy, or is it not important.

Mabelface · 15/11/2020 11:33

It's not important. We don't have access to your medical records.

If you have stopped smoking for 15 plus years, are you still treated as a smoker?

Mabelface · 15/11/2020 15:46

Nope. 2 years clear, but that also includes vaping

Thank you. That is good to know. I smoked for about 15 years on and off but stopped over 15 years ago and have touched nowt since.

I wish I could do the same with cheese and crisps. Smile

Thank you for your reply Flowers

Mabelface · 15/11/2020 19:43

Haha, cheese, crisps, chocolate and coffee are life.

I don't really know what health insurance is Blush Should I have it?

stillsomewhatsheldonesque · 15/11/2020 21:29

If you were not in Health Insurance I would think you were me.

I think I’d be poorly without coffee and chocolate also!

Interested in your reply to salty...

It's an insurance policy to cover you for private health care.

Have applications gone up during the pandemic? I vaguely considered it and didn’t know if a sensible thing at moment if could afford to

I have had a life insurance policy for 7 years. If I am diagnosed with something like cancer, do I need to tell my insurer, even if it's unlikely to kill me anytime soon? Or should zi just continue to agree the premiums regardless as I was really healthy when I took the policy out so that's all that matters?

Sometimes123 · 08/12/2020 20:27

Sorry, lots of typos there..should have read..... " or should I just continue to pay the premiums regardless, as I was healthy when I took out the policy."

Read the terms. But usually the state of your health at the commencement of the policy is what counts.

Medical insurance take up has been increasing year on year for ages. The prices of medicine interventions have also been going up steeply.
