I am an independent midwife. I work with those who are concerned about their baby’s health/development. I provide support & advocacy, helping them to make the decisions that are right for them and get the very best from the NHS

Hi @Nanmumandmidwife,
Can I ask if it's normal to be two weeks late for your period and still be testing negative.? I already have have two girls which I knew immediately I was pregnant with but this time round, I'm so confused.
Me and my partner have been TTC and I have all the normal pregnancy symptoms but the negative tests are throwing me off, more so cause I had a molar pregnancy a few years back.
Any advice you can give I will be truly grateful for.
TIA

I would like to ask another, more general question please. For women who are likely to have a planned c-section but who would like to have an independent, medically-trained advocate to help them navigate hospital policies & approaches, would you recommend that they approach a doula? Where would they find a person like you in different areas in the country? Is there a register, or anywhere else where you and others advertise their services?

Thank you very much in advance.
