Off the top of my head there was a private hospital that cancelled a woman's surgery because she wanted female only care.

I think she came to an arrangement at the end with that hospital and there seems to have been a discussion as a result where the hospital group agreed to change its policy. Let's hope it did so properly, not weaselly - weasellely? - with a positive outcome for all future patients.

Are you familiar with Joyce Grenfell? NC's voice is a more modern version of that beautifully enunciated clipped-drawl. Not an exact match, but her saying the words would have much the same effect.

I am a bit familiar with Joyce Grenfell - I know 'Stately as a Galleon' and the sketch where she's talking about being a teacher and frequently interjects 'Don't do that please, George'
Henceforth, I'll think of NC saying 'Don't do that please, George' to witnesses😁

BinturongsSmellOfPopcorn · 15/10/2026 23:19

Wrangling some of the witnesses is rather similar to supervising the nursery class, with George constantly doing that and Sidney swallowing buttons.

I am so very, very behind, and still having trouble keeping track of who everyone is and quite frankly WTF is going on, but I'm persevering, because every now and then the claimant's barrister throws in the odd line that I wish I could have watched being delivered and seen the reaction to. This one is probably the favourite so far:
CM: So you are using information from an undocumented meeting that was not disclosed until last Monday, as your evidence for why the IX was launched in that way?

BinturongsSmellOfPopcorn · 15/10/2026 23:33

I've now read the new guidance in full, and the dancing shoes are on.

Annex B is history.

No mention of gender variant children. No accommodate according to preference, presentation, and pronouns. No prioritising the trans patient at the expense of others.

Accommodation is by biological sex. For trans identifying patients that remains the default, but single-occupancy rooms can be used as an alternative if needed for the privacy, safety, or dignity of all the patients.

And there's a change to reporting requirements. There used to be a requirement to report breaches; now all departments have to regularly report both breaches and absence of breaches.

CM to DA when circling back yet again:

I am aware it all feels rather Proustian in terms of timelines here.

J I find this surprising to the point ... I don;t want to say unbelievable but I am very surprised they cannot be found.

When a judge says i don't want to say unbelievable does this really mean i don't believe you

The judge is right, this is total bulshit, if Adam still has an NHS email ( can't believe he doesn't) his diary will exist. Cannot believe they are even trying this tbh.

ICBmole · 16/10/2026 06:10

Also a quirk of these calanders is that you can see cancelled meetings.....

That is completely FABULOUS. I'm going to use it to deflect criticism whenever I have been bad about deadlines/schedules from now on.

Narcissism off the scale here. Obviously not occurred to Sam that toilets might be separated by sex for some reason other than Sam's comfort or discomfort. The comfort or discomfort (or safety or dignity) of others not even anywhere on the horizon. Including Sam's daughter seemingly (e.g. when Sam decides to discuss Sam's wsnking on tv in front of her).

That video is heartbreaking and also a massive safeguarding red flag. I’m sorry no one in the children’s world saw how inappropriate the language Sam Hall used around her children. I’m sorry that no one pointed out to Sam Hall she should be as a mother protecting her children from all this nonsense. Imagine navigating your own adolescence and then having to surrender all your innocence to the predilections of your narcissistic mother.

Now they get to discover she was also messing around with vulnerable children and experimenting on their healthy bodies. Illegally, whilst also pointing the finger at anyone flagging up safeguarding as transphobic. The delusion is off the scale.

God, what a selfish fuck her mother is.

FedUpFeminist · 15/10/2026 16:25

This is 100% true. The private sector would not put up with this .

Depends what you mean by private sector. Stonewalls trustees at the height of they're entire capture by TRA were drawn from the world of high powered finance and legal firms

the magic circle law firms are extensively captured. Linklaters & Clifford chance for example covers the costs of gender reassignment surgery, this guy is from linklaters https://britishlgbtawards.com/advocate-for-diversity-and-inclusion-patrick-mccanns-trailblazing-journey/

Former stonewall chair Jan gooding was high up in aviva who went all in on trans as did the FCA home of former stonewall chair Sheldon mills. The idea that it's only silly fluffy public abd third sector that have gone all in on this is mistaken. The big corporates are just as bad - costas, Lloyd's bank, NatWest, centrica, shell - they all captured too. The difference is they are much more likely to pay ppl large sums to fuck off

Poor Immy.

Indeed. Maybe in years to come she'll look back and start to see all the other aspects of this that she can’t just now. To an outsider watching on, it's very telling to hear DSH's mindset laid out so revealingly. Plus, how nauseatingly fawning was the whole documentary? How stunning! How brave!

I'll never understand why people apparently convinced they are the opposite sex decide to conduct heterosexual relationships, marry and have children, often several children, before deciding that oops! this can't carry on a moment longer. With consequent pain and anguish for all.

Middle aged transitioners retcon their history to fit their narrative. It's all part of the narcissism.

Yes it was filmed years into Dr Halls transition yet Immy was on the verge of tears several times obviously still grieving for the mother she once knew..

BlueLegume · 16/10/2026 09:23

What I hate about much of the progressive/be kind/woke narrative is that it is totally void of reality. I recall back in around 2014/15 I was still working in education. A very awkward girl in what would have been year 8 or 9 was discovered to have an alter ego on line masquerading as a boy let’s call the ‘boy’ Jack. Not the real name.

Our head of pastoral care had the girl in for a chat and within a week her parents had been brought in and told that school would honour the girls wish to be a boy. The parents were horrified and wanted school to help. It all happened so fast it was quite unbelievable. I recall her class being sat down and told that from now she would be going by the name Jack and referred to as he.

The kids were respectful but I recall at the time as a body of staff we did raise the issue with the head and head of pastoral. They put down any concerns we had - we had already been concerned this pupil was vulnerable- and handed us Stonewall leaflets on gender etc.

I pinpoint this as my slow withdrawal from the workplace leaving in 2021 when I peaked at having to watch girls mainly, get referrals to endocrinologists. Solid teachers just being silenced if they raised concerns but the woke ‘look at me ones’ playing along with the tragic situation. This made me question their integrity as adults. One common retort was ‘why does it affect you?’. Nothing you say to clarify is ever valued just derided as you being regressive.

Tragic period of history we should be ashamed of.

It's going to be weird today not seeing AD suffering through yet another round of questions.

Who are today's victims?

Gwyneth Adam is supposed to be up first.
