Possibly but one reason to do this is that if the witness gets too bashed about it can inhibit them effectively giving evidence. Doesn't necessarily imply being on one side or another.

I think this is true. There's no jury to influence, either. Just a professional judge.

Oh dear, it seems AD has fallen over his own feet and referred to some more missing notes.
I think the flashing sign in his head that says 'DONT REFER TO THE MISSING NOTES' is so big he just blurts it out.

So that's where the Bigly Screen went!

Redvers v NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board & Mr Adam Doyle Thread 2

From TT

CM: p130 - We see here a request for further particulars made by C to the Rs. [AD is having probs loading on the laptop]
CM: C asks about how the ToR written, dates when various stages happened. Simple Qs
AD: Yes
CM: We have seen no correspondence at all on the ToRs, and the only WS that mentions it is yours briefly
CM: Are you saying that the ToRs were not shared with DrH?
AD: I can't say what MarkP shared with DrH, and I'd handed over to him.
CM: p976, this is the ToRs?
AD: Yes
CM: Don't mention either Elizabeth G or Alison C?
AD: No
CM: Even though you said they were handing part of all this?
AD: Yes

I'd have lost the circulation in my bottom leg by now.

I think all the blood has rushed to his bottom to support his determination to talk through it.

CM: This is before the Durrant IX. This is point DustyA joins MP firm. Do you agree that looks like ringing endorsement of A?
AD: [missed]
CM: A had done exactly what he was asked to do?
AD: Not what I think you're implying
CM: A was appointed specifically as witchfinder-general?
DA: No
CM: You directed A about what the IX should look like?
AD: No
CM: You knew DrH was prone to accusations of transphobia?
AD: Yes
CM: You knew DrH was v keen on GScene mag - [dispute with other counsel,
J intervenes to say already asked]
CM: On to the terms of reference. 2nd supp bundle [missed page]
CM: You say email 9/7 that the ToR are being drafted and you will share once approved and reviewed.
AD: Yes
CM: But no further communication with DrH?
AD: Not until after the Durant IX
CM: We have nothing further about the ToR at all?
AD: That was up to MarkP to do

You have to be brighter than he is if you are choosing lying as a strategy.

CM: There is an email from
AD to IM saying "notes attached", but we have not had those notes.
CM: You say that Mark P assured you that DustyA wd do a good job. Do you accept that if objective was to undermine and stress the C, then he did do a good job? If that was the objective?
AD: It was if it had been, but it wasan't the objective.
CM: The C grievance in 2022 make it clear how distressed she was?
AD: Yes
CM: And distress from other colleagues of hers?
AD: Yes
CM: To extent they say, chilling effect, can't do jobs?
AD: Yes, accept they said that
CM: And p1189 we see MP telling colleague DustyA cannot have further contact with the staff?
AD: Yes
CM: So why in March 2022 did DustyA join MP consultancy firm, if he did such a bad job?
AD: Can't speak to that.

There are many astonishing things here but one of the most astonishing for me is that the NHS appear to be doing this, to spend all this time, money, and resources on litigation, to get a CEO to beclown himself, to run the risks of something going wrong in the defence simply to avoid providing a proper apology that might go against the precepts of genderism.

ONE BRITISH POUND she offered to settle for an apology.

Shocking to think of the cost they’ve incurred and they’ll probably have to apologise anyway. In the form of ££££

The man is an idiot.

But as we found with the Post Office enquiry, these highly paid people would prefer to make themselves look totally stupid, rather than admit that yes, they could have been wrong.

This is Mr Baker's theory - much better to be seen to be stupid than wrong.

Boiledbeetle · 14/10/2026 14:26

How does he manage to cross his legs that high in order to achieve that leg overlap?

Maybe he shoved it up his own arse to try to prevent him talking out of it.

It is not an effective strategy.

CM: [missed - mentions 'transphobic']
AD: No, bcs I asked Alison and Elizabeth if they were aware and they seemed to be, so, I said "independent" and they didn't object.
CM: [missed]
AD: Couldn't ask CMO or CNO as I say, other ppl v busy with reorgs as I've said, no bandwidth, and, it's not good for org when ppl IX peers, so, I thought independent view better.
CM: [missed]
AD: Yes post Durrant I've accepted, shd have been more robust procurement process. Mark suggested a name and I accepted it.
AD: Most HR ppl would tend to have names in mind - ppl they'd worked with - I didn't know what previous relationship Mark P and DustyA might have had
CM: And it was the C who brought that relationship to light?
AD: So what I did was, bcs I'd been involved, so I discussed with the Chair, and she suggested Ms Durrant, and -
J: That is not what you were asked, it was about how MP and DA knew each other?
AD: So I think Ms Durrant asked Mr Munday to be the investigator. I think his notes are in the bundle.
CM: They are not.
J: Are you saying you have notes of the meeting with Mr Munday?
AD: Not my notes no, but some in the bundle I think,.
