Mr Lue seems to be saying that GCC was interested in Stonewall in terms of what they had done in the past, mostly more than a decade previously, and didn't focus on what they were campaigning on at the relevant time, 2018ish.

It seems to be that that GCC are saying now that the tie-up with Stonewall was about legal assistance rather than campaigning oviraptor21.

Wouldn't that make SW clients? Which they're clearly not ...

He seems to be saying that he didn't focus on that aspect.

I think Ben may be trying to find somewhere where he can refute that.

BC quite rightly pointed out that same sex marriage was concluded. And, then SL said that is why they thought they were a good organisation.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I recall reading somewhere that Stonewall were dragging their feet on same sex marriage. As, before it was introduced, the trans issues were at the forefront of their focus.

So glad I'm on mute. My cockerels are going mad outside. They're excited to be let out again after several months in flockdown.

I think it is a shame that you are on mute as cock a doddle doing would be the icing on the cake for this tribunal today and par for the course. 😂

It sounds from posters descriptions that Mr Lue is a rather slippery customer.

Wimbunds · 03/05/2022 15:54

Dipping in and out - it's been painful today! Thanks so much for peoples input - it's so useful for my understanding.

Is Mr Lue is trying to say that he didn't see Stonewall as an organisation campaigning for "trans rights"?

Thanks. A whole 70 minutes of actual evidence. Spoilt, I am.

More likely 5 mins of evidence, and an hour plus of faffing, avoidance and IT issues.

I've finished work for the day just in time for the hearing to be running out of time (again). I hope the tribunal let it run over 4pm.

Don't worry, it has only just started.

jeaux90 · 03/05/2022 15:49

I think they said they could run until 5 today

PandorasMailbox · 03/05/2022 15:49

Thanks to everyone for keeping me updated. What a fucking omnishambles. If the judge is teetotal, I suspect that might change after this complete fuck-up.

So to sum up Mr Lue is a bit of a CF and avoiding answers.

Mr Lue is awfully confident, isn't he?? 🤨

I don't think he is. He's very careful and I think trying not to say anything incriminating. Although why this is contentious I'm not sure.

AppleandRhubarbTart · 03/05/2022 15:46

I wasn't even watching the stream and just seeing the tweets alone made me want to start drinking. What a mess.

I've had Internet issues all day and haven't been able to connect much

To be fair, neither have various members of the proceedings, if the last bit of the previous thread was anything to go by.

Rightsraptor · 03/05/2022 15:42

Yay! We can see and hear Kate Barker.

Mummyoflittledragon · 03/05/2022 15:39

Following thank you.

Baystard · 03/05/2022 15:38

Can someone show Mr Lue where his backside is, he doesn't appear to be able to find it with both hands.

FlibbertyGiblets · 03/05/2022 15:29

Thank you. Just catching up. Cripes at the bundlezilla and subsequent doh si doh dance around. That is all.
