Given the whole bear/cub thing in various gay male subgroups, the choice of a bear is not neutral. The whole 'I'm your dad' now thing is extremely creepy. I cannot imagine a lesbian wanting to say 'I'm your mum now'. We're your gay brothers, perhaps, that has at least the suggestion of a non-power based familial style relationship, brothers and sisters gives to an image of support, of mutuality.

Oh, and 'identity', even more nonsense.

It's exasperating that people cannot see what is right in front of them. Even if this specific T shirt is not part of a sinister agenda it feeds the agenda that is sinister and normalises children seeking support from strangers.

How can that be considered anything other than dangerous?

Why do we learn nothing from history?
