Monzo bank - Women in Finance Charter

^Digital bank Monzo’s losses more than quadrupled in its first year with a full licence, highlighting the challenges facing the wave of mobile phone app-based lenders trying to take on established groups.

Overall losses in the 12 months to February jumped to £33.1m from £7.9m as figures for its past financial year show customer deposits were £71.2m — equivalent to less than £150 per account.^ this was in June in the FT. But by August the Gruniard was trumpeting that it was worth $1.5bn.

MONZO do NOT have womens best interests at heart.
They do not recognise the 50% of the worlds population that are born to the cry of "it's a girl" and live (or sometimes don't live) with all that comes with that as a distinct group in themselves.

Just messaging to say that I’ve removed some your post in the Women in Finance Charter thread, as it breaks our Code of Conduct. In particular, we feel that your comment about “natal women” (as distinct from trans women) would cause trans wome to feel excluded on the basis of their gender identity. Our position is that trans women are women. Of course trans women face distinct issues related to being trans, but that’s true of many subcategories of female experience (differing across categories like race, class, being able-bodied, and so on). We want everyone to feel welcome on the forum, and we’re glad to have you contributing provided you’re able to respect the Code of Conduct

many men believe that women have equality & there is no systemic discrimination / oppression and basically have a total inabilty to listen to women when we tell about how life is for us / believe us
many see that any issues we have are down to our "choices" which are in turn driven by our feminine minds and souls

therefore if you have TW on the board they can cover off the woman stuff (feminine mind / soul) but while subconsioualy seeing them as male and therefore rational and worthy of being listened to and also the sort of people they are happy to spend time with (because men tend to prefer male company and zero men actually see TW as women)

I know of a financial services company that had a number of senior male executives transition late in career - it's not at all unlikely that all self-identifying women on a board might have been born male.
