It is incitement for women to inform men about what other men are telling women they have to do, what they have to think and what they have to accept.

I heard that FPFW were bribing the men and lads with promises of free kestrels and whippets for all, so long as they agreed with the GC viewpoint.

If there are any kestrels or whippets leftover from the bribing, can I have them?

Also, I come from a long line of working class people who could easily tell a man from a woman whatever direction the wind was blowing.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 18/10/2018 20:27

In my experience the most harassment prone group of men has been braying stripey shirted banker types. They're a bloody menace if you work anywhere there's a concentration of financial services firms

Absolutely this. Groups of wc men may well contain rapey misogynist types but some/most of them aren't so you feel relatively safe as long as they remain in the group. Entitled mc males out on a spree have a terrifying pack mentality. (To overgeneralise massively)

LorettasBox · 18/10/2018 20:18

Oh it does makes me chuckle. The posh white boys getting ansty because the nasty ladies told the 'working class gangs of lads' about their plans to piss all over their mum's rights to be in a hospital ward without any blokes who think they're women in the next bed.

Owen to Magic Grandad "Sir! Sir! Those women are telling on us! It's not fair!"

Shon "Yeah, those horrid commoners are going to get all aggro, you know what plebs are like."

IfNotNowThenWooOoOoo · 18/10/2018 20:08

Shit. I posted loads of FP4W postcards thru doors of actual council houses.
And I'm Northern. Come get me. It's a fair cop. Clearly I'm inciting working class men to punch someone. Or, yanno, read relevant information online. Same diff.
Fuck off Shon whoever the fuck you are.

AngryAttackKittens · 18/10/2018 18:59

I'm not from anywhere around there and I'd be happy to go leaflet there, because I don't think working class men are any more dangerous than men of any other class. Interesting that so many TRAs do, isn't it?

placemats · 18/10/2018 18:21

Well Shon is welcome to head out into Moss Side themselves and do some leafleting of their own.

To be honest - thinking about the 'lesbians' who tried to stop the womens meeting in Manchester (which probably included the lowlife who lamped Maria at speakers corner) - I wouldn't want to be 100 feet of these aggressive, argumentative, potentially violent and unpleasant human beings. Especially if I'm in my jimmy y jams in a hospital bed, naked in a gym changing room, half naked in a store dressing room, boobs hanging out at a mammography, undercarriage hanging out at a smear...

As my dad used to say 'You can take the man out of the bog...'

horizonglimmer · 18/10/2018 17:30

I'm really tired of people pretending they can't understand the argument, not matter how many times it is repeated to them, that it is sexually predatory males who are the concern ( and it is because of THEM that we have sex segregated spaces) not trans people.

I suppose we should be heartened that they aren't able to counter our actual arguments, so have to create straw men instead.

But the pernicious side of this is that they are creating a toxic mental state for trans people and children by repeatedly telling them that there are a group of people who hate them. That is a particularly cruel lie to tell to children. I can't understand the mentality of people who would want their loved ones and children to falsely believe a group of people hate them, when they don't. Maybe they actually believe it because they live in their own echo chamber and never bother to actually listen to what we actually say. Still, I would never tell my children that someone hates them on hearsay. I would be responsible enough to go to the source and find out what the real deal is before discussing with my child.

Moss Side birthplace of the Pankhursts

MrGHardy · 17/10/2018 19:44

Shon "enjoy your erasure" Faye accuses other people of incitement of hatred?

Say what you want about the issue, but the blatant double standard by trans activists, not just double standard, it's not just a rule applied differently, they are (and this time the word is appropriate) literally accusing the other side of the things they do themselves.

And people don't mind it. Because they agree with the ideology. The world is going to shit.

RedToothBrush · 17/10/2018 19:42

So fair play went around an area of Manchester with a large working class and ethnic population. Why could engaging with groups which tend to be left out of and marginalised by public consultations possibly be an issue? Surely it's inclusive?

How much effort has the trans lobby made with these groups?

Remind me again, where was Emmeline Pankhurst born and who did she make the effort to engage with and who radicalised her?

It's almost as if the shiny image of the suffragette as a sales tool in 2018, doesn't really match up with the actual history of the movement.

I'm shocked, I tell you. Shocked.

Gosh. It's almost as if history is repeating. Weren't the suffragettes regarded as inciting the population by the establishment?

Oh my. The irony.

This is classic.

Shon. I think Fair Play might just have pwned you.

2BorNot2Bvocal · 17/10/2018 19:16

FPFW guilty of incitement to tweet. SF said they were taking a week off Twitter only a couple of days ago.

FekkoTheLawyer · 17/10/2018 19:08

I thought you mean the riots!

Blimey I thought, Sh-omeone's definitely lost the plot!

Ha ha
Oh Shon I'd pay folding money to see you in Moss Side.
Please report FPFW to the police
That would be fucking hilarious.
The Manchester Police No Terfs on our Terf haven't got the balls to go to Moss Side.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 17/10/2018 18:55

Inciting the working class to fill in public consultations is a crime now?

God forbid women and plebs should be consulted about anything to do with government Shock

Can these people hear themselves? They are eighteenth-century throwbacks

ToeToToe · 17/10/2018 16:57

And they would've got away with it too! If it hadn't been for those meddling wimmin Grin

Inciting gangs of men to Shock fill in an online form.

Elephantinacravat · 17/10/2018 16:51

Oh, and it was all flying under the radar so nicely, until those pesky wimmin started meddling.

I know right?!

ToeToToe · 17/10/2018 16:49

Oh no, we can't have the working classes poking their noses in, eh, Shon?

Oh, and it was all flying under the radar so nicely, until those pesky wimmin started meddling.

Incitement to fill out a government public consultation is what it is.

LangCleg · 17/10/2018 16:42

Fucks fucking sake.

Inciting the working class to fill in public consultations is a crime now? Being a working class woman describing campaigning in a working class lexicon is a crime now?

But of course, Shon et al = most oppressed. Most oppressed my fucking arse. They're bourgeois oppressors.

One of the FPFW postcards - hands off my rights - was delivered to my letter box this morning by the postman with the rest of my mail.

Do you think the postman will get reported to the police? Grin

Anyone else had a postal delivery of the FPFW postcard?
