Another harmful ‘scientist’ is Elizabeth Loftus, she tries to discredit survivors and testifies in court always for the defence, for people such as Weinstein. Maxwell wanted her at her trial, of course. She has done a few bad studies discrediting memory and witness testimony and it’s not being used as gospel.

@MarshmallowSwede I found a page on the bmj blog where a man wrote saying he wants to have sex with teens and the dr answers him that he could go to south america! Now the bmj is concerned with child sex dolls, instead of helping actual children harmed like this.

@ScrollingLeaves I just read an article from 2004 in LA times defending Kinsey, they referenced Judith Reisman just as an ‘independent researcher’ without giving her name and explained how Kinsey basically started the whole sex research industry and then they have sex researchers defend Kinsey without actually addressing the valid concerns and without any scrutiny whatsoever, not objective at all.

It would be downright hateful to point out that no civil rights movement ever has focused entirely on children, lesbians, women harmed by male violence as the front line of their oppression nad needed safeguarding and protections for women and kids against violence and sexual violence removed and demanding the most vulnerable in our society be made vulnerable to harm cos anything else injures your identity...downright hateful...

Kinsey did massive harm in propagating ideas about children and sex which people took as coming from the lips of a scientific guru.

Now, I realise why a woman I once knew from that era, who was perfectly ordinary and conservative, once told me seriously, “Children are very sexual, you know”.

But so many people probably don’t know the horrible details about how he came to have his skewed data. You still hear about, “The Kinsey Report” in serious, ‘that’s-the-rightful authority’ tones.

Seems like they were actually on to something.

Never underestimate the lengths predators will go to in order to access prey. All of these.. MRA, TRA, MAPs.. progressive Uber liberal feminism is helping these people and actively working towards this “sec positive “ utopia where no boundaries are allowed and any and everything goes.

I agree that it's grotesque but it's simply not going to wash. It's not trans people or trans activists' fault if these people refer to the sort campaigning tactics or language that, as other posters have pointed out, have been used by movements of all sorts. This doesn't mean it will work for everyone who uses them.

I just discovered the Future of Legal Gender, al so confused. I have articles from decades ago about pedophilia in academia, Judith Reisman and articles from before and after 2010, some people have had their eye on this for a long time. Has everyone seen the stuff about Kinsey? That’s where it seems to have started. In Germany they placed ‘street children’ with known pedophiles in a ‘treatment’ devised by another deviant. Why are these people allowed to decree what is normal sexuality? They are not right in the head, judging by the stuff they come out with.

I think it's very useful to revive zombie threads.
You can see the development of a line of thought, 4 years ago many posters considered this a hoax.

I do read old threads from time to time just for this reason.

They already have a MAP (minor attracted pedophile) pride flag and on twitter they post it along with memes about loving whoever they want and retweets of other people’s children running around in diapers.... I saw a twitter bio that said ‘seeking female to start incest family with’ 🤮 On the BMJ they’re talking about child sex dolls.

If you run any campaign based on smears and lies, knowing the propensity for yobbery of a large part of the population then you are partly responsible for the consequences. Irresponsible lies and smears about foreigners during the Brexit campaign make some of the leaders responsible for the well-documented rise in racist incidents in my opinion and I know many people who would agree with that. A large part of the campaign against self-ID revolves around perverts supposedly queuing up to gain access to women's spaces, trans people supposedly trying to force lesbians into sex etc. Given the amount of times Mumsnet mods have had to step in on this forum and delete posts/issue warnings when people have been deliberately trying to blur the line between trans people and paedophiles, I'll wager that talk of perverts etc has been the cornerstone of a lot of the 'I peak-transed another person today' incidents that people crow about on here. There's nothing extraordinary about drawing a link between negative propaganda about a particular group and negative consequences. What is extraordinary is denying it or saying you had nothing to do with it when some numbskull beats up a trans person because he thinks they're all perverts.
Pedophiles are trying to blur the lines between LGBT and pedophiles. They are trying to attach themselves to ‘progressive’ movements. That’s what this thread is about.

They are aided by useful idiots like Grave Lavery.

It’s worked before in the 1970s with the PIE. They managed to infiltrate charities, activist groups, political parties...

I am so shocked to see how evolved and planned out this horrific line of thinking is.

To think “Be kind” is all over the place now, and these people call themselves “kinds”.
And I saw the equivalent of Gillick competency used, that children are simply making their own choices if they ‘choose’ what this person wants to be called ‘adult-child sex’ …so who are these pedophobe adults to suggest they don’t know what they are doing.

And, ‘we are born this way’ thereby appropriating one of the reasons for the acceptance of LGB people, and the argument for Trans people.
