Somebody suggested this on another thread - sorry can't remember who, but I thought it was a good idea.
So far I think I'm right in saying that:
Marks and Spencer don't have sex segregated changing rooms
Primark don't have sex segregated changing rooms
Next have got rid on their female toilets.
Have I got these right? Any others to add?

I'm going to add this as the Co Op don't seem to be giving a reason for their actions.-
They have just boasted that they declined banking services to a feminist group that denied the rights of the transgender community.
No indication of what they mean by this - were the group just denying membership to anyone who is not a biological woman?

Mercure hotels. Because the one in Cardiff cancelled the Women's Place meeting and then released a message slurring WP. They retracted the message but too late.

Thanks all for this information. I hold the purse strings in this household and will be boycotting any shops that allow self-ID / abolish spaces for biological women and girls.

It was at the end of March.
Hmmm time for another visit I think!

TerfsUp · 30/04/2018 11:15

Applauding the Man Friday actions! Interesting to see how different shops reacted.

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 30/04/2018 11:11

Can we boycott this?

@averylongtimeasSpartacus
Did your experience at Primark pre-date this?
www.pinknews.co.uk/2018/04/18/primark-investigating-after-trans-woman-refused-entry-to-womens-changing-room/

"In a statement to PinkNews, a spokesperson for Primark said it was aware of the complaint posted to Twitter and that “we welcome all customers to use the fitting rooms of their choice.”

“We are aware of a customer’s complaint regarding their experience at our Coventry store and are in touch with them as we investigate as a matter of urgency,” the Primark spokesperson said."

Great man Friday actions...

averylongtimeasSpartacus · 29/04/2018 19:18

When I and another "self identified " as men for ManFriday a few weeks ago in a midlands market town, Primark was the only shop who called security. We sailed in with our manly flowery tops, were told that the "ladies" was upstairs. We explained we identified as men, and in we went. A large security bloke was waiting when we emerged, who had been stopping anyone else going in.
We were also challenged in Marks, but the assistant backed off when we explained we were, despite the evidence of her eyes, men.
Top shop- we were totally ignored.

Ofspartacus · 29/04/2018 17:53

When we manfriday'd primark on oxford street they let us in but very reluctantly and the woman was clearly uncomfortable.

Topshop made us stay in the bit where the assistants could see in order to stop dodgy things happening out of sight.

Marks just let us in.

R0wantrees · 29/04/2018 13:43

Wow, Primark? Last time I went in there, and bought some men's t-shirts for myself (cheaper don't you know!), I actually got told off for going into the men's changing rooms (no men about) and got told to go downstairs to the women's. My, how times have changed.

The challenge to Primark was made very recently... I think in the last fortnight. It may have got a bit overshadowed at the time by EH's data breach.

Adding The Telegraph for their horrid, totally one sided article about the WPUK Oxford event. They failed to speak to anyone from WPUK or any attendees of the meeting, but wrote 700 odd words on what the protesters had to say. They used to be a decent paper, but now use shockingly bad journalism to cover important topics.

AncientLights · 29/04/2018 12:33

They get funding from the Dept. of Education & I think there something about Barclays Bank funding them on here recently. Probably others too.

MsMcWoodle · 29/04/2018 12:31

Anyone know who sponsors Mermaids?

Caledonian Sleeper where you might end up sleeping with a man even though you thought you booked same sex accomodation.

FairfaxAikman · 26/04/2018 11:38

@MsMcWoodle yes Blush damn autocorrect

SporadicSpartacus · 26/04/2018 11:32

Lush for the ‘cis’ thing and the patronising ‘how to be a good ally’. Specifically US Lush, but I don’t believe UK Lush responded to any of the ‘what’s your position on this’ tweets.

(And UK Lush for their poor treatment of female shop floor staff)

Theinconstant - yes - but if a man says he's a woman then he is allowed in.

Theinconstantgardener · 26/04/2018 11:24

My local m and s still has sex segregated changing rooms

MsMcWoodle · 26/04/2018 11:24

Thanks Fairfax. Did you mean nork? If so, yes. I'll give them a try.

OP posts:
Pratchet · 26/04/2018 11:23

Eresh thanks: Primark also for me then.

We have a Debs which I think is ok.

FairfaxAikman · 26/04/2018 11:22

@MsMcWoodle if you are bigger of Noel, Bravissimo. They'll actually fit you properly as well (it least based on my experience of M&S fitters)
