I don't know if it has the legs to sustain a third thread, but kudos to perfectly for the impeccable timing of finally answering a question on the second to last post before the thread filled up. Genius.

here is the second thread

As I am now the OP, I wonder if this gives me the right of veto over the resolutions that we apparently made in the Great Accords of 2017?

OP posts:

You can try and dig your way out as much as you like but everything written over the past few days is there to see in black and white. Any journalist who picks it up will have a field day.
As Nuffaluff said, playing right into the hands of the TRAs.
Should have stuck to two threads but I guess with so many ignorant and bigoted posters on here it was inevitable it would eventually implode.

BertrandRussell · 26/12/2017 10:49

I find it interesting that a tiny minority of men are pardophiles, but we have imposed pretty strict measures to ensure that that tiny minority have no access to children, and men, by and large understand the need for those measures. But any suggestion that vulnerable women might need protection from a tiny minority of transwomen are met with horror.

Datun · 26/12/2017 10:29

Oh good Lord.

It's not that LGBT support paedophilia, it's that paedophiles are trying to inveigle their way in to LGBT.

Because the trans-ideology supports male access to females and children, they are able to utilise it.

See the penis packers thread where prosthetic penises for four year old trans identified girls are described as lovely and squishy. Or Alok thingy (best friends with Travis who managed to kick up enough fuss that Topshop changed their changing room rules) who said little girls are kinky and deviant.

I don’t know what agp is

Well that explains some of it then.

QuentinSummers · 26/12/2017 10:29

Of course some paedophiles will be piggybacking on the trans movement. Vulnerable confused children who are alienated from their parents are ideal targets for paedophiles. It doesn't do anyone any favours to pretend this won't and doesn't happen.

iamawoman · 26/12/2017 10:27

saucysienna - would that be a larger or smaller minority than the trans population??

Nuffaluff · 26/12/2017 10:26

No perfectly.
I know exactly what you're trying to do.
As someone said on one of the previous threads, you're good at it.
We are not homophobic or transphobic on here. Stop it.

SomeDyke · 26/12/2017 10:18

As regards the homophobia and paedophilia issue. When I was a student a nice chap from the student LGB soc suggested a speaker from a gay paedo organisation of some sort. It was only when all the dykes stated they would leave end masse that he realised it was not such a great idea. I think there are some worrying attitudes as regards adults and kids coming from TRAs etc, as well as the old attempted slur from homophobes.

QuentinSummers · 26/12/2017 10:17

perfectly you've misquoted irk.
She didn't say it was understandable people associated being gay with paedophilia.
She said People should be aware of the history of the Pedophile Information Exchange, understand why people associate paedophilia with the gay community, and so understand why MRA's are able to use this smear tactic.
Some people do make a connection between being gay and paedophilia, it is a homophobic smear. She was pointing out why the "adding p to lgbt" meme was able to gain traction despite being utter shit. (That's what she was referring to with MRAs being able to use the smear tactic).

I hope you were just so enraged you didn't read her post thoroughly rather than misquoting on purpose with the aim of making us look homophobic.

Ereshkigal · 26/12/2017 10:11

Are you on board with penis stuffers for under 5 girls? What does that constitute?

Also look up the Australian "Safe Schools" programme: Https://unsafeschools.org/the-australian-safe-schools-program-la-trobe-university/

Inappropriately sexualising children is child abuse.

perfectly · 26/12/2017 09:52

Thanks Nuffaluff good to know at least one of you on here is sane, but as recent posts prove it seems the majority on here are willing to let the association with pedophilia stand. Sickening Sad

Nuffaluff · 26/12/2017 09:52

Paedophile is definitely the wrong word.
Paedophiles want to have sex with children.
I do not have to come up with a different word for it. I don't agree with the sterilisation of children either.
You are playing right into the hands of TRAs.

Ereshkigal · 26/12/2017 09:49

Yes paedophilia is not directly relevant to this but we need to be vigilant of it in gender activism focussed on children because I think some transactivists' behaviour borders on grooming. I have certainly seen things on social media that I find concerning. Obviously that doesn't apply to the majority of the trans community, as most people rightly believe paedophilia is abhorrent.

SpartonDregs · 26/12/2017 09:46

It's nothing to do with paedophiles. This is derailing the argument

The trans trend absolutely is about encouraging any child not fitting in with social norms that they are not the sex they are born with. The issue is that doing this and proposing that they block puberty until they are older, which can cause infertility.

If you have another word for it, when it is grown men pretending to be women who are promoting this, then please share it.

Ereshkigal · 26/12/2017 09:44

There is a fringe movement to legitimise paedophilia online and it is supported by some self declared progressive people who believe children have agency. Look up the "virtuous paedophiles" movement. Think about PIE and how left wing people supported that cause in the past. I've seen screen shots where paedophile activists were whining that the LGBT community should support them.

Alltheprettyseahorses · 26/12/2017 09:41

Ah, so not wanting to sterilise kids is the problem? Or in particular, not wanting to sterilise them at the whim of male AGPs. That's just yet another reason to take the 'T' away from LBG. It isn't homophobia. After all, most TAs seem to be lesbian i.e. straight. And, of course, transing is just one more revolting way to get the gay out of your kids like there's something wrong with it.

Nuffaluff · 26/12/2017 09:39

It's nothing to do with paedophiles. This is derailing the argument.

Backingvocals · 26/12/2017 09:38

Misgendering and deadnaming are made up misdemeanours designed to put women on the back foot. Speaking the truth about who people are is not a crime.

You can change your name by deed poll but that doesnt eradicate your past or your biology. Pretending you’ve always been a girl called Lily and making others collude in your delusion is really unhealthy.

I see no reason to be rude to people but I won’t accept any obligation to collude.

Nuffaluff · 26/12/2017 09:38

Not at all. I think the vast majority of people are probably like me, looking at that peadophile post and thinking 'what the hell was she thinking?'
I think that post was stupid, horrible.
But I expect that unless every single poster comes on here and says so, you now claim they are homophobic.
You are picking up something that one poster has done and using it to attack all feminists here.
No. Don't.

SpartonDregs · 26/12/2017 09:35

One of you SpartonDregs has accused people that support LGBT equality of supporting equality for pedophiles

That is exactly what is happening when grown men posing as women are trying to halt puberty leaving the kids sterile.

What else do you call that if not pedophilia?

perfectly · 26/12/2017 09:28

I'll say it again. One of you SpartonDregs has accused people that support LGBT equality of supporting equality for pedophiles. See the post on 24 Dec at 11.25.

The rest of you are letting this statement go unchecked, calling it 'understandable' or even agreeing with it.

This implies you are all happy to go along with this logic making your whole argument look like a massive joke. It's out there now in the public domain and that is what people are going to see rather than any valid, rational concerns being raised.

Ereshkigal · 26/12/2017 09:14

I sometimes think that being nice and engaging in too much discussion over these issues just results in letting men think they can override our natural boundaries

Exactly it.

Ereshkigal · 26/12/2017 09:13

Erishkigal the irony is on the last thread I was convinced to keep the GRA as it is. There were intelligent and thoughtful arguments that made me realise that changing the law could be damaging.

LOL. Pull the other one.

Alltheprettyseahorses · 26/12/2017 09:07

Which arguments are ridiculous? Actually, scrap that. There doesn't need to be any argument. If a woman does not want a man in her space, then 'NO' is the end of it. It isn't up for debate or hypothetical situations where one woman wants the man there and everyone else is being mean saying he can't come in. A transwoman is not a woman. That is not up for debate either.

I sometimes think that being nice and engaging in too much discussion over these issues just results in letting men think they can override our natural boundaries. 'No' is a complete sentence, isn't it? That's all we need to say.

perfectly · 26/12/2017 08:34

Erishkigal the irony is on the last thread I was convinced to keep the GRA as it is. There were intelligent and thoughtful arguments that made me realise that changing the law could be damaging.

You have to admit some of the arguments on this new thread are now bordering on ridiculous?! And goady and unhelpful which weakens your position.

There are some loose canons on here for sure.

Ereshkigal · 26/12/2017 08:18

Is it any wonder your MPs are laughing you out the door?!

Not when you go and see them in person, perfectly, sorry to tell you. Not when you make elected representatives engage with the issues properly. That may have something to do with Justine Greening getting cold feet and delaying the consultation.
