Is this for real? At 50 aren't you way too old for sugar daddies? I thought a sugar baby had to be a young girl in her 20s? I have to say it doesn't sound like a safe or sensible decision of this post is true

I never did full service sex work but I danced my way through university and remain friends with many who still offer full service. I haven’t danced for almost ten years and most girls who have moved past their prime have moved on from dancing to full service. I think going back to a “normal” job is hard for many people the money comes in so fast and with little time. So thats something to keep in mind.

£140 is very cheap for an hour and I would be concerned that would mean you would attract a certain type of client. I’m in Manchester and the going rate is £200/£250 an hour from what I’ve heard. Most people I know charge £200 on AW or the agency they work for charges £250 but takes a cut.

I would also familiarise yourself with local sex work charities in the area if you haven’t. The one local to me is called M.A.S.H and they support sex workers to get tested without any judgement, also help sex workers report any violence or just have people you can talk to about your work.

Also familiarise yourself with National Ugly Mugs website if you haven’t already. You can sign up and check clients details on there to see if they’ve been reported by other SW’s for anything nefarious.

Thus thread has opened my eyes however.

Most women turn to prostitution to make ends meet, some have no choice if they have kids and no many. Its a choice and as long as you are safe (and dont sleep with my Husband!), its truly up to you.
I hope you make your money quickly and dont have to do it for long.
Its not something I would do, as I have to feel something for the person I would have sex with.

Although I would never ever do sex work, I could easily have had sugar daddies at 50. I looked very good then (a new neighbour at that time thought I was around 32). Not now I’m in my 60s, though, everything’s gone to pot. 😬

You must be in your 20’s! 😂 I’m in my 50’s, told regularly I look late 30’s and am often chatted up by men as young as early 30’s! Never gone there as it’s too young for me but flattering. I remember thinking in my 20’s that people in their 40’s were ancient too! 😂

You are never safe as a sex worker. Ever. You are in close personal contact with someone who could turrn into a psycho any minute in a way that no other job leaves you in such a vulnerable situation. Let's not pretend it's safe please. Not to mention the psychdynamics it perpetuates.....transactional relationships created around personal space. Deeply unhealthy behaviour keeping ppl locked in cycles they would do better to develop from . I wish ppl wouldnt normalise sonething that holds us all back as humans.
