Browsing Rightmove and I came across something I haven’t seen before. Does anyone know what the seat thing is in photo 10?

Hmm, no idea.

Gaming chair, weight lifting/trainer chair

PrizedPickledPopcorn · Today 17:15

Gaming rig.

As an aside, I hate arsenic green on wood. Takes me back to the homes of elderly relatives.

I can’t see properly but could possibly be a gaming chair?

That’s what I thought but it looks like it’s on rails. Such a bizarre contraption.

Leg press?

I used Google Lens:

This is a GT Omega PRIME Lite Cockpit featuring an aluminium profile structure for racing simulation.

MissMoneyFairy · Today 17:20

It's a racing simulator

unabashedopossum · Today 17:22

Definitely a racing simulator.

Loopylalalou · Today 17:25

I lived just up the road from here many years ago.

The floors are lovely , whoever buys this house , hopefully they'll buff them up and keep them.
Not the kitchen window frames or tiles though . They can go .

Needanadultgapyear · Today 17:31

As others have said a motor racing sim.

BeverleyMakka · Today 17:32

The selected object is a GT Omega simulator cockpit, specifically appearing to be an aluminum profile rig like the Prime or Prime Lite model.
It features a professional racing-style seat and a mounted large monitor, consistent with high-end sim racing setups.
The setup is designed for immersive racing or flight simulation, allowing for a realistic driving position. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

^^ this or similar...

Looks like a fancy wrap round screen(s) and there are pedals visible to the LHS, (rudder or accelerator&brake etc, as applicable) of the image..

Definitely a flight or car sim of some sort.

minerva7 · Today 17:45

I would agree with gaming rig. As an aside I would need to fix those books they make me itchy all lying over like that 😂

godmum56 · Today 17:47

they have got some nice bits of furniture...the old stuff

daisychain01 · Today 17:51

Probably missing the point of the thread, but the property is massively overpriced. Claustrophobic garden for that money!

Ohcrap082024 · Today 18:01

My first thought was “that’s a decent price for Brighton/Hove for a 4 bed”. Some nice features and potential to extend up into the loft.

But, yes, gaming chair.

shellyleppard · Today 18:03

Some sort of rowing machine??? Fancy one if it is....

spiderlight · Today 18:04

Racing sim. My son has a similar one.

Wow, I guess they have a very committed gamer.

Do we think the weird ceiling in pic 7 is soundproofing below the gaming thingy?

Really. I live in the frozen north and I thought it would be reasonable priced. It would be at least 650k here.
