Hello!

What would you do, I live in a small cul de sac of 4 houses which are well spaced out. The house two doors down is having a party, lots of karaoke going on from 2pm today - now - (11:10pm) - current karaoke is very drunken - and I can hear every single slur from every room in my house. Normally, I would let it go and be happy for them having such a lovely time (I enjoy a bit of karaoke myself), but my 2 year old DC is just getting over a sickness bug and is very tired (as we all are) and can’t sleep through the noise - even with white noise on it is booming. They are normally very quiet, so this is very much a one off.

We aren’t close to the neighbours, they don’t even say hello - but I’m not sure I’m ok with my DC not sleeping much longer.

For a one off, I’d let it go. So, you don’t all get sleep for a night, no big deal.

We were in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, had been there 5 years, not one noise incident. Then one night a huge party, thinking must have been 18th/21st. So loud, no way anyone could sleep, including the kids, no matter where you were in the house. They quietened down around 4am. Then not one more peep out of anyone for the next 5 years before we moved on. Was a complete one off. Happy to suck that up.
