how long did it take you to get pregnant with your first?

I feel my biological clock ticking but DP isn't yet ready for a baby and wants one more year. How long did it take you to get pregnant with your first?

15 years. And even then, only with the assistance of fertility treatment.

2nd cycle. I was only 28 though and healthy

Second pregnancy ended in miscarriage but conceived 1st cycle (at 32), second DD 4th cycle after the miscarriage (but hard to judge because of the miscarriage and getting cycles back to normal)

9 months of proper trying after Mirena coil removal - was 35. First 3 months had awful hormonal imbalance so don’t properly count them.

6 months aged 33/34. Just tried again aged 38 and pretty sure it’s worked first time. As someone has pointed out, it doesn’t have any bearing on you at all.

Age 35, took 12 months of actively trying (tracking temps, ovulation sticks etc).

4+ years of being not careful, two+ years of TTC IVF drugs and of IVF, one v late miss…then my amazing crew in my early thirties…as if textbook (know I can seem like the mum in the playground with the two year spaced kids at times). Which I know they are not. 10+ pregnancies, 5/6 past 12/14 weeks, three fab kids. Meanwhile my sis presumed she’d struggle like me, esp as was older meeting partner, and was pregnant v quickly each time. OP there’s v little way to tell. According to doctors I would struggle from my twenties - and I did, but not everyone does, and many are not as lucky as we’ve been.

7 years (including 2 years of cancer treatment)
I was 37.
We then had dd2 when I was 38, and ds at 41..

Baby number 2 - 2 cycles

DC1 - one time. I was 20.
DC2 - started trying October, miscarried at about 7 weeks in the January, conceived him in the March. Age 34
DC3 (pending) - Stopped contraception in January, miscarried at about 6 weeks in February/March, chemical in May, now 9 weeks. Current pregnancy took one attempt in my fertile window.

Seems I’m fertile, but struggle to hold on to pregnancies, I also had another miscarriage between DC1 and DC2, but wasn’t TTC then.

About two years casually trying, then serious about it and happened pretty quickly. My next two were within a month or two of trying because I knew what I needed to do to be successful (irregular cycles)
