how long did it take you to get pregnant with your first?

I feel my biological clock ticking but DP isn't yet ready for a baby and wants one more year. How long did it take you to get pregnant with your first?

2nd cycle at 31. Also got pregnant 1st cycle at 36 (though that pregnancy ended in mc), but pregnant again 2nd cycle after the mc, which was our first month trying. I wasn’t ready the first month.

I am clearly very fertile. I’m now in the depths of perimenopause with 100+ day cycles, but still live in fear of another (at this age, definitely not wanted 😂) pregnancy.

2nd age 32 2 cycles
3rd age 35 2 cycles

So if I conceive immediately next year and all goes to plan I will have kid 1 age 33, kid 2 age 37.

I would have liked to be a younger mother

i am exactly the same although I had my first at 26 and now my second at 31 and I’m 2 and done because I don’t want to be an older mum however my mum had her last at 37 they are besties she’s 56 and he’s 19 and they are close so there’s actually nothing wrong with it as such

Erm 2 weeks began at the end of December was pregnant by the middle of Jan 😅🫣 then I miscarried
fell pregnant without a period in between and miscarried at the beginning of March

fell pregnant for the third time still with no
period and had a positive test on the 18th April and that child is now 4.

I went on the depo after this for 2.5 years came off it in sept 2024 would have needed updating 3 months later didn’t have it or a regular cycle till December 2025 and fell pregnant at the end of January 2026 with only needing to do the deed on peak ovulation and only had intercourse 3 times in 1.5 days and we caught with no trying. Praying this will make my partner get the snip as this is his 5th and my 2nd however I am running back to the GP for the injection when possible🫣😂😂

tho why wait a year

I started ttc at 33 and was almost 44 when gave birth

yes rare to take 10yrs and only success due to costly ivf

First one age 20, accidentally, I was on the depo provera
second, age 24, one time without contraception
third, 28, first try

About a year. And given the consultants that was a 0ne off would never happen again. They said that about my delivery too casaerian that’s it

I got pregnant on the pill with DS1, aged 23.

With DS2 it was the only time we had sex without contraception, aged 25.

DH had a vasectomy after that.

31 for first took 9 months.

33 second took 1 month! Dh quite

18 months and rather longer with my second. I was 25 when we first started trying, but I do have PCOS (or is it pmos now?) though for context.
