Usually 10 days before I'm due my period my hormones are severe, I'm super aggy, irritable and have no patience whatsoever, i end up being really snappy and everyone and anyone just sets me off on a rage, i go off one one, I don’t even know why? I know I’m doing it but I can’t help it, it’s horrendous how I feel and not fair on everyone around me, then I go into a feeling of worthlessness and teary and just cry and sob.

Im 35 I’ve never had it this severe before. It’s only since I had my last child when I was 32 that this has all become heightened and worse than when I was in my 20’s. Has anyone else had this? Should I speak to the doctor about it?

It's not normal, and yes you should go and see a GP about it, but expect them to fob you off with their usual medical misogyny.

Not normal. I thought it was for years. Eventually I saw the GP, he was really sympathetic and prescribed me some meds which have helped hugely.

Not normal
and definitely speak to your GP. Sending hugs as I’ve been there too with it. But there is meds / treatment you can try it made a real difference to me x

Ok thank you for replying, I did think this, could it be perimenopause?
