We won’t know what’s really what until any investigation is complete

however what concerns me is Meghan says she was told in 2018. Why hasn’t she chased to make sure an investigation is taking place in Mexico, the US or Thailand when he moved there? Just saying she was told and left it to others is not acceptable. Anyone who has been given evidence like this would chase for updated, I know I would. Just to make sure it was being taken seriously

Absolutely get your sentiment, but am playing devil’s advocate thinking maybe he needed an IT person to find the stuff in the first place? Though you’d think that, if he found something on a phone, it must have been an older phone, otherwise how did he get into it? Am guessing no pin, fingerprint, facial recognition etc. is that what then led him to look at the computers? If so, you’re right, at that point I’d be calling the authorities to examine everything. So much doesn’t make sense, T Jnr phoned a hotline over 3 months ago and has, since then, rifled through everything himself. At this point, my main queries are around the FBI (hotline report in July) and the Met (letter received in 2018). Once that info is established, further queries will roll outwards.

Anyway, just finished watch W on Graham Norton. That’s probably the longest I’ve seen him on film. What a difference compared to watching H’s numerous episodes of filmed content. No fidgeting, he looked engaged, he looked happy, he let others speak, and he made a couple of funny quips that didn’t sound like he was trying. Most importantly, there was no whinging!

That is not a good optic - their PR guy needs to to up his game, too many little things keep slipping through. Am definitely not saying that M wanted that ad to be there, more that their PR guy needs to be on top of possible media stuff that reflects badly.

There was also absolutely nothing stopping Meghan contacting the relevant authorities in the US with this info. British authorities have zero jurisdiction in this area. They can’t investigate anything.

Theres also nothing stopping her stating that she received a letter with x, y, z allegations. Thats just saying the truth. That’s not defamation. Defamation would be stating person A did thing B without any evidence of it being true.

What if it was Doria who wrote the letter? Sent it to the Fixated dept because of the intense grief her DD was getting from her ex husband, half sister, half brother at the time and told them these three people are ruining her daughter’s life? Would explain why it was enough for Meghan to cut her dad off on the basis of such allegations. A wife would know, and she trusts her mum.

ETA maybe not her mum, on reflection (should have thought a bit more). That would be too close to the bone, even for me. Also, presumably her mum would have told her she’d written that letter, it wouldn’t have taken the Met to tell Meghan about it. But perhaps it was someone else Meghan trusts completely to know such a thing, not needing a police investigation to prove it to her.

I have no difficulty in believing the Met may have been incompetent somewhere in all this. There's still a lot that is puzzling about it.

What u don’t understand is if she knew since 2018 and this was the reason she was not letting her kids near him as she say, why didn’t she mention this in any of the documentary or interview with Oprah. She encouraged Harry to speak up about betrayals from his family, if everything she says now is true, did she not feel such betrayal of not knowing her father.

This story about her father is far more serious than a royal member making a comment on skin colour of Prince Archie before he was born. Allegations against her father are of criminal nature, why didn’t she hide it from the world?
