Made a new thread as we are very close to reaching the maximum posts allowed

Please post your scan dates etc

NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Call them. I was told yesterday it hadnt been sent to a decision maker. They made a decision yesterday lol

Just rang up as my son’s award ended yesterday, I was told a decision was made yesterday but she can’t tell me what it is. I asked for payment dates as I’ve seen that’s what you guys do on here, she put me through to someone else who said the next one is 20th October (which is the end of his old award so I knew about that one) and the next is 17th November. Completely forgot to ask how much the November one was though. So I think his renewal may have been accepted? If the Nov one was higher/lower surely the man on the phone would have mentioned it?

Hello, silent watcher here.My scan date is the 19th August and I’ve just called for an update and they’ve said it’s currently with a case manager in a Que, anyone possibly know what this could mean please as I know they can tell you anything to get you off the phone

Omg I can’t actually believe it. I’ve just had a phone call . I don’t usually answer as I’m Spain at the minute and thought was just spam calls. My daughter’s claim was selected for a management review and they’ve decided she should be getting high rate care. He’s amended the rates and the difference between MRC and HRC will be paid as backpay Tuesday. I forgot to ask how long the award is now as it was 2 years on MRC. I can’t actually believe it. I didn’t want to do a MR as didn’t feel it was the right thing to do for my own sanity at the moment. In such shock , I didn’t even realise they did these things! He did say she would be getting LRM if she was 5 and if her birthday was within 6 months he’d put for LRM to start on her birthday but it’s just over. Xx

Does backpay take 3-5 days or can it be sooner?

My daughter’s claim was decided on the 13th October and backpay is tomorrow . So exactly 3 days. X

Hey, I’m the 7th August and I rang on the 8th October and got told it was also in the queue! Hopefully not long for us now

I was told yesterday it wasnt even in a queue. Then she must have been awarded in the afternoon
I dont know how that happened

Hey, my scan date is 13th August and the lady i spoke wouldnt tell me. Just told me they are making progress and they are working through backlog. Hoping wont be much longer now as seeing scan dates of 3rd and 4th getting decisions now. Fingers crossed all xx

It's great to see all the positive news. Still waiting on SD 31 July here. I've seen so many decisions past that date now - a decision must be ready soon 🤞
