Goading and group pile ons

I would be grateful if you could confirm what measures you take to deal with goady posters and pile on attacks. I am seeing this on here every day and nothing is being done about it. I have sent you two emails.

The reply you have posted on a long standing thread Becky, should have been posted right here where I have made the complaint. I really don't understand why you did that - other site stuff queries get answered on here. Thanks @EasternStandard for posting Becky's reply here but this only adds to the problem that you've had to do that and yesterday I hadn't picked up on all this.

Yes posters are less likely to see it. Site stuff responses are always on the actual thread not somewhere else.

Sorry Eastern I hadn't realised when I posted back to Becky that she hadn't posted her response to me on SS and came her to read it. I replied to her on there. I need to go back over there and read what's gone on, sort it then I really am taking a break from today x

Ignore that, I'm getting threads mixed up. Hardly surprising when responses are being put on wrong threads.

I am relatively new here but Ifeel theres a lot of obviously goady posts that are left up. One example springs to mind is a post abut all working mums taking advantage of their own mums for childcare. Clearly not something that actually happens and designed to stir the pot.

@LuckyHazelFox can confirm that MN mods have also advised me to challenge posters on a thread when I’ve reported them.

Once I replied, that will inevitably lead to a big argument - which it did.

Maybe mods like the drama because it’s good for engagement or something, I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️
