I would be grateful if you could confirm what measures you take to deal with goady posters and pile on attacks. I am seeing this on here every day and nothing is being done about it. I have sent you two emails.

I am relatively new here but Ifeel theres a lot of obviously goady posts that are left up. One example springs to mind is a post abut all working mums taking advantage of their own mums for childcare. Clearly not something that actually happens and designed to stir the pot.

Once I replied, that will inevitably lead to a big argument - which it did.

The thing is, @LuckyHazelFox if

you post a lot
you post on 'hot' topics (e.g. political ones)
if you post fairly controversial views (as either strongly left/strongly right views will be perceived)

... you're 'putting your head above the parapet'

Which means that people are more likely to see you and more likely to interact with you - positively or negatively.

You either argue your case - and report where you think it's appropriate - or you ignore, scroll on by or change your name.

I can appreciate that you might not want to change your name. I get that, as I haven't changed my name for a very, very long time.

But it's also important to recognise that, in the words of the immortal ScottishMummy - it's just words on a screen. I know it's easy to say that, but it is worth remembering that.

Anyway, MNHQ have heard you, and have made it clear what their view is
