also, just to clarify, I wasn't on the list and this has happened in the last couple of hours. It won't accept my password.

headlesslambrini · 20/08/2015 15:49

I can't log into my email. Any ideas of what I can do?

diddl · 20/08/2015 15:48

Has the warning disappeared from the login page?

Well, I'm locked out of the email account that's connected to mn & I really don't think that I can be bothered to set up a new on, so looks as if I'm on borrowed time!

If there's another password reset I won't be getting the mail/link!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 20/08/2015 15:46

hi everyone

fucking trolls

that's all

hashtagwhatever · 20/08/2015 15:43

Herd, I was getting that pop up last week but if I navagated away from it I was already logged in. Confused

herderofcats · 20/08/2015 15:38

Oh, it's back now.

herderofcats · 20/08/2015 15:37

Oo-er, it's disappeared! Confused

herderofcats · 20/08/2015 15:35

This is the screenshot.

Hi.

Sorry about all the problems. Proper shite.

I have reset my password just now, and am sat on my Chromebook typing away, having logged back in. I have changed my password a few times.

Thing is, if I try to log in using the new password, via an Iphone 5c, using the Mumsnet App, it spits me out and says invalid login. Doesn't give me an option to login via Facebook or Google or even to have a reset email?

I can login using a Safari Browser on the Iphone.

diddl · 20/08/2015 15:30

Ooh ha!

Just tried to log into my email & it has been closed due to inactivity!

I used it yesterday!

Different password to mn one that was on list.

Coincidence?

Troubled222 · 20/08/2015 15:28

He did it because his mother was a hamster and his father smelled of elderberries.

No, he did it because dogs bark, trolls troll, and sad pathetic hackers get their kicks from sad pathetic activities.

diddl · 20/08/2015 15:25

I've just logged out & in again a couple of times with no problems.

"It's in the middle of the screen and mn is behind it."

I was just getting the same log in as I thought that I had already logged into iyswim.

tigerscameatnight · 20/08/2015 15:24

my email I haven't used for mumsnet in years and years has been hacked. it was fine last week.

herderofcats · 20/08/2015 15:23

It hasn't happened since I've changed username though...

herderofcats · 20/08/2015 15:22

Native android browser.

Gruntfuttock · 20/08/2015 15:21

herderofcatsNo. that sounds weird. What browser are you using?

StatisticallyChallenged · 20/08/2015 15:21

leedy, wish i could like as that sums it up.

leedy · 20/08/2015 15:20

As I suspected, "because I am a whiny man-baby and I don't like uppity women".

howtorebuild · 20/08/2015 15:18

Have you seen why he did it? www.mirror.co.uk/news/technology-science/technology/mumsnet-hacker-speaks-out-we-6285082

herderofcats · 20/08/2015 15:16

Is anyone else getting a log-in box, despite being logged in already? It's in the middle of the screen and mn is behind it.

LoveandMonsters · 20/08/2015 15:14

That twitter page gives me the creeps. The clown was bad enough, but they've got the MN logo in red, with men holding hammers and axes.

Creepy, creepy men.

Dothetwist · 20/08/2015 15:09

The twitter account has recently posted that their is more to come..

SuffolkNWhat · 20/08/2015 15:06

Have you changed your settings to delete cookies and stop auto fill? If you have that will log you out automatically

PleaseLetThisNameChangeWork · 20/08/2015 15:06

Agree with you ProfYaffle about being surprised how much information was on my account. I've also been going through my PMs as I've had addresses and other info on there as well. Who knows what has or hasn't been looked at.

Halsall · 20/08/2015 15:05

Sorry, I've missed the vital bit of info in the welter of threads/posts, but.....where do I find the 'published list' referred to above that has the usernames AND passwords on it? I found the list of usernames and I'm on it, unfortunately. But I'd like to see the list with the password too, if it's been put up somewhere.

I've changed my password 3 times now, incidentally, so the old one won't be much use to anyone anyway. But I'd still like to keep informed.
