I couldn't see that anyone's started a thread for September yet. Seeing as it's tomorrow thought I'd start one now. Seems AF arrived for a few of us at the same time so looks like we'll be in sync over the coming months.
How is everyone doing?

I tested this morning at 12 DPO and BFN so I think I’m out. In fact, I think I’ve just noticed some spotting. Looks like I’ll be on to the next month!

sorry to hear this. It’s all so frustrating!

Bee1725 · 06/10/2026 18:29

Isn’t it just bloody wonderful that period, pregnancy and perimenopause symptoms are all the same. Wild. I have my progesterone bloods tomorrow so I’m hoping I’ll be closer to knowing if I am even ovulating. I’m 6-7DPO and feeling so tired and sick urgh

Baby2pls · 06/10/2026 19:04

@ByKindOpalPoet congratulations, all good today?

8dpo and had a few twinges yesterday, a lot more today. Some stitch-like pains. Ordered a FRER to take 10dpo but my hopes are not high

Thank you, so far yes, took a weeks indicator this afternoon and got a 1-2 weeks pregnant (which works out based on LMP) which I feel slightly relieved at as with the chemical when I did the same test the day after the positive (on a ultra early digital) it was negative. Will say I had the same and still have the odd one now (apparently all normal - don't remember from previous pregnancy as she's 8 next week)

and thank you @Saffie920 and @HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy

LavenderSweetPea · 06/10/2026 20:21

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy sorry I've been a bit absent, the TTC stuff is a lot to process. Echo what you say that for those that are struggling or in it for the long haul you're not alone. I'm a fully committed member of the long haul club 😂

I'm on CD15, not a whiff of the LH tests going positive yet. Same old same old with me usually it!

Keep us updated on how your appointment goes xx

Hi all! Sorry I went quiet for a few months, it all got too much so I tried to pretend it wasn’t a thing 😆. How is everyone?

I’ve had the faintest faintest positive today within the window. I’m 10dpo and now just praying it develops further. I’m due Friday so it’s super early. It has the faintest hint of a wisp of pink. I used FMU but I also had to pee in the night so it wasn’t super concentrated.

Has anyone else had a squinter this cycle?

Lucyloop99 · 07/10/2026 08:37

Hello,
Cautiously joining as ive just got a positive, wasnt really trying but wasnt taking precautions either!
Im slightly worried as I had an ectopic August 2025 but trying to stay positive that this baby will be in thr right place!

Not really sure how far i am, I did get a 2-3 on clear blue digital monday .
Im trying not to obsessively test anymore as I did last time , and that was the only real symtom of something being wrong, was my tests kept going 1-2 to 2-3 back to 1-2 .
So far ove got great progression so keeping that in mind and not overthinking it.

Eeek yours is really strong!! Tentative congratulations!! Mine is much more of a squinter. How many dpo are you?

Eee thank you!
Im wanting ti get excited but scared to just incase!

Im not really sure how far I am.
My cycles have been all over the place since the ectopic. Averaging 47 day cycles.
Bearing that in mind, my last period was 8th August!
I'm now 2 weeks late , I had a small bleed 2-3 days after my period was due which I thought was my period starting, but it lasted 2 hours!
Sorry, tmi, one wipe red, then pink then brown. Im guessing that must have been implantation.

So maybe im about 5 weeks.

I so want to do another CB to see if I get a 3+ but will be gutted if its not that so im not doing it yet.

I do feel more pregnant this time than the ectopic .

Congratulations all you that have also got positives and good luck to all those still waiting!

Selyak · 07/10/2026 11:29

Congrats to everyone that has got a positive. After 5 days of spotting and 4 days of actual flow I’m now gearing up to ovulate. I’ve come down with an awful cold so really don’t feel up to dtd. Kinda hoping ovulation stays off a little longer so I can recover

Don’t worry, think we all need to take a MH break sometimes. Glad you are back now. I’m CD17 and still nothing so at a very similar point in the cycle to you again! Nice to have a cycle buddy!

The appointment was ok. The GP agreed to refer me to the fertility clinic and do day 21 (or 7 days after whenever ovulation is for me) bloods. And a sperm analysis for when I can get DH there 😂.

But she said she wasn’t allow to prescribe metformin, though she would ask the fertility specialist if I could start it with the GP while on the waiting list to see them. And she wasn’t sure what help, if any, I would be offered, having already had children. So not sure whether I should start looking at private options. I was hoping for testing, plus ideally clomid, on the NHS, which given I have a PCOS diagnosis I thought I had a chance of getting from reading others’ experiences online. But the GP had no clue, so now feel a bit in limbo! Feeling better to have started something though.

LavenderSweetPea · 07/10/2026 14:25

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy I'm glad you got a referral, hopefully the wait won't be too long. I'd recommend letrozole rather than clomid, if they give you a choice, for PCOS it gets better results. If it comes to that for me I really hope NHS will prescribe. We went privately the first time, because the waiting list was so long and I just can't be paying for that again!

In better news I had a sudden LH surge completely out of the blue. My test yesterday was 0.1 and this morning it was 1.68, only CD16 for me as well so that's pretty early. I'm chuffed, I hope this egg is the one! Just got to wait for DH to get home from work, but I've got a poorly toddler at home and a tonne of work to do so getting in the mood is an uphill battle haha

OrangeRainbow · 07/10/2026 19:32

Currently CD11 and patiently awaiting my surge. I had my surge on CD11 last month but some months it has been as late as CD14. So hard as I’m tempted to DTD tonight incase I get the surge tomorrow but then I might not even get it until Saturday or Sunday!

Baby2pls · 07/10/2026 19:45

@Lucyloop99 congratulations!!

@OrangeRainbow I hope your surge arrives asap, check every few hours if you can!

9dpo now. This morning I had some hip/bum pain when walking around at work. It took me back to my last pregnancy - had awful sciatica really early on. Tested negative with a cheapy strip after a 2 hour hold so not too surprising… then wiped and saw some blood 😳 period not due for 6 days…

That's very good. Maybe implantation bleeding? I am on 7dpo, I said I would wait for my period to be late to test but I am having second thoughts

This sounds promising! Fingers crossed something shows on a test in a couple of days

I’m similar - 8dpo today. Yesterday I had some gentle pelvic cramping - felt low down and very central. And some in my lower back. Definitely too early for my typical period pains because I’m not due until next week and I normally get period pain basically within 24 hours of it starting. The pains reminded me of my first pregnancy as well - sort of felt like they radiated out a little to my hips.

I’ve told myself I’m not testing until Saturday (10dpo) at the earliest though. I really don’t want to symptom spot but I definitely remember having implantation cramps with my DD

Well I think your lines look amazing!! I’m so happy for you, keep me updated.

Mine’s much darker this morning and we are out of squinter territory. I’m trying not to get too excited as I lost one at 8 weeks before but I’m also balancing that with telling myself that today it’s positive and that means there’s a bean.

Wishing everyone else bags and bags of luck in the tww. I know you shouldn’t symptom spot but my sign to take a test was a weird ache where my legs met my pelvis as if I’d pulled a muscle but it lasted four days!

Im dying to do another digital. Trying to wait a few more days .

Hi, I’ve been following these threads of a while but haven’t posted before so hope it’s okay to join! I’m ttc baby 3, been trying for 17 months with 1 miscarriage and 2 chemicals. After the last chemical I called the gp who happily referred me to gynaecology within the fertility department, however when I finally got the apt letter it was in 6 months time! Total 7 months from my initial phone call. I just wondered if anyone had any advice or info about what support might be offered for someone who already has children? I’m not sure if I should try and push for getting it sooner, or if they’ll not do much anyway so probably shouldn’t pin my hopes on it? To add, I’m 40 (and had support from fertility - clomid - to have my first) so if I can get support I’d like it asap! Thanks :)

Lucyloop99 · 08/10/2026 10:55

Well i caved , I did another digital, still 2-3 so taking that as a positive that it's not dropped and my lines are still super dark 🤞

Hooray!! You got your peak! And 1.62 is great! Hope last night was successful. I know, it can be so hard with an ill little one. They don’t go to sleep and then do stay asleep! When are you supposed to find the time to dtd!

Thanks for the letrozole tip, will remember that. I don’t know how long the wait is, the GP just said “you know, the waiting list is very long” which doesn’t sound very hopeful ☹️

LavenderSweetPea · 08/10/2026 11:17

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy I think it's massively area dependent. I had my referral done when I was living in London, like I said I knew the wait would be LONG so I went private. I didn't get an appointment through for my NHS referral until two years after the referral was made - I already had my baby at that point!

But then I had a friend referred in Surrey at it was 4 months from referral to first appointment which isn't bad really.

Wow!!! 2 years is insane!!! You definitely made the right choice to go private!
Im hoping for more 6 months 🤞 your friend’s story gives me some hope 😂. The GP didn’t seem to think anything was likely to be very wrong either, just needed to keep trying. She said all the odd were in my favour so 🤞

Welcome!
From what I’ve read on here it seems very trust dependent. Some trusts will offer testing but not treatment. Some will offer ovulation induction medication, so clomid/ letrozole, especially if you have PCOS diagnosed. How did you get the clomid last time?
I’m in a similar position, TTC baby 3 for nearly at 11 months, though have PCOS so only 7 cycles. No hint of any positive tests. Just been to my GP who has referred me to the fertility clinic but had no idea what I would be offered. So if anyone else does know I would be interested too!
