Anyone else in the two week wait??

@Or4nge its horrid that they are so blunt. I had similar when I had my miscarriage when I asked for a scan I got a “why? It won’t make any difference if it’s done today or at the appointment later in the week”.

I get for them it’s part of the job and perhaps they just get very clinical about things but I do sometimes think they forget for the person it’s happening to it can be devastating.

Out of curiosity, what were you hoping the GP to prescribe you at this stage? Progesterone?

@RowsOfFlowers because of my hormone disorder, I have very raised levels of prolactin. This was identified in my pregnancy with my daughter but because care is so disjointed in this country and it has been such a long time since I had a pregnancy that continued, it’s sort of dropped out of the files. So they have to do another test to confirm that things are still the same even though I have been lactating the entire time my daughter has been alive even though she stopped breastfeeding age one. So what I’m actually hoping they will prescribe me is low-dose steroids because that will bring my hormones back under control and stop my uterus creating a hostile environment. I’m pretty certain this is what it’s going to be.

I did do another test this afternoon after holding my way for awhile and the line was a bit darker but it was one of those weird ones where the side of it was super super dark and then the other half of it was a lot lighter. I am not sure what to think. So I have decided I will not be testing anymore at all and I binned the remaining test to stop me from doing it. I have that scan booked on Wednesday and now bloods on Tuesday and I just have to make it to those days.

No cramps or bleeding at the moment. I also found my tests from my daughter, in a photo in my phone, and it seems that she never produce a dark line, all looking not too similar from the one I had this afternoon. So maybe there’s hope.

@Slippedonmahbeans00 Sorry it’s still negative 😞 Human reproduction is so inefficient and 💩.
No bleeding here yet, I have to make it until Tuesday but just taking it one day at a time. Boobs are super swollen still but I think mentally just waiting for it to fail over the course of the week.
Has anyone else tested this am or got any positive updates? We need some happy news!

11 dpo for me and still nothing. Trying to tell myself it’s still early but I just don’t feel it’s my month!

I’m trying to remain measured. I feel completely different to how I’d usually feel at this point in my cycle however I’m trying not to get my hopes up as equally it’s my first proper cycle since February what with back to back losses so it could just be my hormones are out of whack 😕 Desperate to know one way or another though- feels like time is moving backwards 😅

You could still be in with a chance, don’t give up hope yet. 🤞🏽

I have read online that pink dye tests (less common in the UK, but first response is an example…) are more easy to interpret when there are faint lines compared to blue dyes.

This morning I took the dreaded Clearblue Digital test and I was nervous as hell. Reason being is I haven’t got a faint line I can squint at that would bring me hope 🥹 lo and behold… 1-2 weeks pregnant. Genuinely didn’t think this would happen for me. Thought I’d continue to be one of those ladies that would struggle and was starting to commit to a childfree existence. Of course I don’t want to get a head of myself.

Oh I was a fool, I shouldn’t have tested at all yesterday morning after drinking all that coffee, and I shan’t again! I shall be waiting and seeing and letting the Early Pregnancy Unit tell me what to think if I make it to Wednesday. Had one really bad cramp this morning which scared me, but no bleeding and it went after about 2 mins, so was scrolling back 5 years in my Flo app looking for what happened with my daughter and lo and behold…I had noted scary cramps in the first few weeks. That was reassuring.

My husband and I had a massive fight about it all this morning because we’re both so stressed and despondent and reacting to it in different ways (for example he now refuses to call it a pregnancy and keeps referring to it as a late period) but I understand why. But things are back on track now.

@cosmicstars it is so difficult to hope after recurrent loss isn’t it….I totally understand. All we can do is keep going one day at a time and hope we get there eventually.

My husband sounds similar. He’s not really referring to it as pregnancy until the beta blood test confirms it. I get iy.. it’s a self protection thing. Try not to worry or over analyse body sensations. I’m not noticing a great deal atm, although the odd twinge and cramp but doesn’t last long. I’m holding out hope for you. It sounds similar to your first pregnancy too…

12 DPO today according to the app but hard to tell if I actually am as I can’t remember my exact period in may.
Negative test today, had had sore breasts and nausea at times - any advice?

@maynm I’ve only got one previous “good”pregnancy to go on and everyone is different but for me nausea started after 7 weeks, and I know a couple of my friends also found it didn’t come on until later. However that’s not to say it can’t come on early. It’s so frustrating that literally everything that could be pregnancy is also just PMS.
the only thing that was different for me this cycle and the reason I decided to test even though we have given up TTC is that both my boobs got sore and started to swell and go hard, whereas normally it’s just one, on one side of it. 🤷‍♀️

Im an idiot as I relooked at my test this afternoon and can see a faint blue line which I know is probably an evaporation line but I got so excited. This happened with my pregnancy at the start of the year, 3 days of tests that were blank in the morning and then a faint blue line a few hours later before getting a strong positive the day my period was due. Now I’m sat trying not to get too ahead of myself

Ooo the dreaded evap lines! This is another reason why pink dye tests are good because if it’s pink, it’s not an evap line (which are colourless/grey!)

I had another negative this morning and think I’m 12dpo so suspect I am out.

Morning ladies. I was going to test this morning but I’ve been struck with some kind of bug or something I’ve eaten hasn’t agreed with me! Feeling rough so I’ll save the testing for tomorrow or just not bother and see if AF comes on Wednesday.

Tested negative again today (period due day), so in a way I’m glad I don’t have to keep obsessing this month. I think next time I will only test on day of period for my sanity haha. Hoping my period comes soon as my energy is on the floor (I forgot how much of a bitch PMS is)

I’m thinking of getting into body temping, is anyone doing this? If so do you do it the whole way through your cycle or only close to fertile window?

I tested this afternoon, wondering if this ‘bug’ was something else but bfn again sadly. So I’m fairly sure I’m out.

I’ve reached the dreaded “early loss” day: 4w 5. This was the exact day that 3 out of 4 of my losses happened on (one was further on but it was because I conceived while on the coil and the coil damaged it).
No bleeding or cramps yet. Definitely NOT going to do another test. Bloods tomorrow and scan Wednesday, so I am crossing absolutely everything that we make it to tomorrow morning.
