Yeah it’s been a lot 😅 We have to find out the gender via blood test now because of the genetic issues as it makes a difference to risks. Not sure how I feel about that as it’ll make it harder if it goes wrong. Such a rollercoaster.

Oh @Or4nge what fab news! Definitely sounds like little one is doing their best to stick and I’m so hoping it all goes well with your tests and that you have no more bleeding. I bet you feel exhausted from all the worry!

I got some first response tests when I needed to get some new prenatal vitamins and so the fact I only have 3 should put me off testing too early. That and having to get house ready for photos means I should be distracted from testing.

Yesterday was such a surprise for us. After ten days of bleeding, the doctor saying I was having a threatened miscarriage and prepare for the worst, the bleeding finally dried up over the weekend, and yesterday….we saw a tiny blob with a heartbeat! And they couldn’t find any reason for the bleeding, or anything worrying at all on the scan, so if I’m very lucky….I think this one might be doing its best to stick.
Now we just have to get the NHS to do all the right genetic tests because I’m a carrier for something really awful that can cause stillbirth - they had to check up on all sorts of things with my daughter 5 years ago, but because I’ve remarried since now we have to do it all over again because it’s a different father. Does the stress never end haha….

What are everyone’s strategies for holding off on testing this cycle until it’s time? Hiding sticks? Something else?

2dpo here. Windows and doors in, they just have to come bk to switch handles and postbox as they are the wrong finish but I’m not too worried about that as it’s a quick job and they were so good otherwise. So just to get it cleaned up for estate agent photos on 19th and I’ve promised myself not to test until then (😂 ~ not sure if I’ll manage to resist).

@Slippedonmahbeans00 ~ hopefully it will be our month! Me and DH agreed this is the last month of trying for us so feel the pressure for it to work! In trying to stay positive, how about you?

CD10 over here so just started OPK’s again today. Usually ovulate around CD16/17 but things have been a bit up in the air since our losses so thought I’d start a bit earlier to be safe. Really hoping this month will be our month but starting to feel a bit despondent unfortunately

Hi everyone ~ I’m now 1dpo so starting tww over again. We are having new windows and front door fitted today and then planning to put the house on the market so I will be well distracted atleast getting everything sorted.

I finally got my period last Thursday which I’m pleased about (a week late) but of course it started while I’m on holiday! But I’m glad my body is working how it should be. This is my second period in over a year after ovarian suppression so I am grateful my body is healing!

@Kroovy thanks. And to everyone else for kind words. Ongoing off and on (black and charcoal grey) spotting, weird discharge over here but still no results from the infection swab or blood tests (my local NHS is just…broken). U/S on Monday. I’m supposed to be 6 weeks today, feeling nauseous and can’t eat but who knows if it’s still developing in there or if it’s just the progesterone.

How about something more positive? How is everyone else doing?

Sending you a massive hug @Or4nge recurrent loss is awful, currently navigating that myself. I hope the bleeding settles and everything turns out okay although I know it’s hard to stay positive. I don’t know if it’s any help but re: recurrent losses we got a NHS referral to a Tommy’s clinic. Not our local area but initial appointments were by video call. It does mean some travelling for scans/investigations depending on where you live but bypassed our long local clinics waiting lists x

@RowsOfFlowers cant afford it. But apparently the bleeding isn’t a miscarriage (as yet) according to the Dr I saw yesterday. It’s a “threatened” miscarriage. It’s also stopped for now. It’s super confusing but apparently it means I am still currently pregnant as far as they can tell but with unexplained significant bleeding. I have no clue what to do, I’m sort of assuming it’s over as the most pragmatic thing for now.

Although…. I went into the early pregnancy unit early this evening just to basically have them confirm that that was what was going on so that I could move on with my life, because weirdly the bleeding stopped really abruptly. And it turns out that my cervix is totally closed. They literally can’t find any evidence of a miscarriage at this current moment. They also can’t explain why I was bleeding so much. Not exactly reassuring but I guess the saga continues…

Well I’m sad to say that I have begun a MC today, 5w 3d. 😢 Number 5 in a row.
Waitlist for local recurrent mc clinic is apparently 2 years. So I think this is the end of my journey.

dpo10 and got a negative this morning but still holding out hope 🥲
