Very nervous to TTC after a miscarriage but am going for it

For those who want to look to the future and TTC again I would really like some support, advice etc.
I thought we needed a new thread with positive energy (yes have turned into chanting hippy) so that we feel we are moving forward rather than dwelling on what has already passed.
The only thing I can concentrate on at the moment is that next Wed is the day that me and DH can start trying again (this will be 2 weeks after ERPC).
Anyone else ready to try again?

DQ - sounds like a typical male/female arguement, very frustrating! I manage to only mention the odd thing about ttc recently as otherwise I tend to get the "bored" expression. Now I know DH wants a baby as much as me, I just know that he would rather "let nature take its course" and stop with the talking and obsessing about it! DH has his head filled with work - how? I do not know as I work full time also and manage to only think about ttc!!! mmmmm....mind you I am on here at the moment instead of working so maybe that says it all!! And don't even get me started on the sulkig thing!!
Ok - other things to think about....how about Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp??

bella (((HUGS))) love you for cheering me up. dh being my fourth child today. grrrrrrrrrr.
now on to serious things. Johnny i think, tho you know, Brad is rather lovely too. i do think mr depp has more deep and dark eyes which look like hes abit naughty, abit cheeky.....
hugh Grant is really my 'housewifes pin up' tho.

Johnny is my top fav, definately looks abit naughty - Brad is too all american pretty boy for me.
Now Hugh - only post floppy hair. Wouldn't kick out of bed though.
You see - arguement in distance now
And surely you know that men are always like children at some point - but you know that don't you!

well i can completely sympathise on dh being child..mine is great 96% the toehr times its like having a stroppy teenager..i wouldnt even say toddler as my son is nowhere near as bad..lol
Anyways will try and catch up later as am supposed to be going to see a friend who has just made her dp leave....so preparing myslef for a bit of tears

am def more johnny depp than brad, although my fave is keanu, what a babe!

Bella, has been about 3 weeks or so I think, have no real idea what to expect.

And yes totally know about the ttc arguments, my dh is also keen to have another baby and is in some ways more obsessed than me but he doesn't want to talk about it to much especially the o time, he thinks it is enough to know about it, we don't have to discuss it. This normally leads to an argument where i accuse him of not being able to communicate and ignoring my feelings and so on!!!!

And i guess it would be quite nice to give birth and then tuck into turkey and stuffing!!!!

Ok officially going into nutter territory as have buckled and bought an early response test from Boots at lunch. I blame the media as saw it advertised on tv this morning and it reckons it picks the hormone up 4 days before AF is due.
Now I know I am being silly as AF will not come exactly as she would have pre m/c but I just had to !!!!
I am such a bad girl - the urge to purchase was just too overwhelming!
I need to get a grip before they cart me off in a straight jacket

Bella, actually it was all i could do not to test (pg test) this morning. absolutely miles away from 20th (preposed test date) but tempted as purchase 'ultra early' pg tests and was reading the leaflet. apparently i can test just days after CONCEPTION. wow. did test, but............nearly had too! so understand utterly your test collection growing there.
try not to bankrupt yourself but otherwise, go ahead test all you want, if it helps. gosh we have enough to stress about without worrying we are 'odd' or weird for testing so much. and its so 'normal' everyone i know ttc-ing tests as often as poss. i think i will either have an opk or early hpt in my hand every morning!!! its just this 'phase' id like that. once your pg, its onto the next worry......and then the next and then the next.....(once their born, well you REALLY lose it! ) would you like me to tell you the make of my ultra early ones? or am i just feeding your addiction???

DQ - you are as bad as me !! Bad influence together I feel - YE HA!! Ok am going to test - but not until Thursday morning, need to hold off until at least then.
Glad DH has apologised - always great when that happens.
yes go on - feed my addiction, where did you get the tests as the one I've just bought from boots was nearly £9!!

i think we should change the thread name to 'the obsessed', i too have pregnancy tests which I could not stop myself buying. I try not to think about them. I am hoping that i will be strong and not test unless my AF does not arrive.

Okay Bella i can indeed save you money and get you help testing earlywhilst looking on ebay, as the other girls suggested, i found this lady, she sells -same brand as my opks- ultra early (thats their name) pg tests. i got three for £2 something. and they are real, work, indate , etc etc,. she has lots on her sellers list. some buy it now and some auction. her ebay name is lookersgirl. they are the professional 'thin' sticks -just like opks- rather than great large plastic type from Boots which cost you £9!!!!!!!!!!!!! but they do tell you the same thing! (yes or no!)
stock up shall we?
ooooo mishis those ten test must be burning a hole sat there ready for next cycle! how exciting.

ooh sorry Girl, no offence meant, didnt meant to 'leave you behind' I'm come and chat to you on old thread if you like its not easy pretending to be all laid back and calm about ttc-ing, and thankfully i can come her and go 'pg test, opks, cm, ....' and they all get me. dh thinks i'm weird. hes back sulking again by the way after todays appology. he apparently only said sorry so i would -WTF!??? at this rate there will be NO bd-ing ever anyhow girl coming over to bore you with this.....

thanks dq! but I have to accept that I need to take on the secret language of the Thread or the 'Ring' and one day soon I shall know what opk means and whether it is to do with Orks or Mordor! don't worry about going over there seriously - maybe, dya think, some of them might, maybe come back [sheepish face]?!!!

Morning ladies
Well I cracked this morning and did a test and no great suprise it was a a huge whopping -ve!!
Right well could have had a better result but didn't get one so now just want AF to arrive so I can get on with next month! To be honest I felt a bit sad at the result but more than that I just felt a bit silly as I have no signs of being up the duff so don't know why i bothered testing - obviously just needed my fix!
Anyway - onwards and upwards - feeling like I am on a mission now to beat this baby making game!
GFP - sorry didn't mean to neglect you, will pop over to the other thread - can now bore you with ER plot as well - bet you can't wait!!
DQ - thanks for cheap tests - I shall stock up for next month's fix! Naughty DH - sulky boy indeed and apologising first so you would - oooooh steam out of ears time I would imagine when you heard that one!!

Bella, sorry about the -ve, am sure i will be joining you soon. So far am still managing to hold out but am sure not for long as just got some of those cheap tests! yes last night i went straight across to ebay - how sad am I?
