Right, so I can't start this thread using anything like..."Here we go ladies!"

So, will have to come up with something completely different....

How about Congratulations Kay!

oops, forgot a space.... I meant www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk - this is the one I used but they're all owned by the same company.

And for what its worth, i wouldn't bother with clearblue, I've been using the ACON early tests but you can get first response from here too.

GJ, Broody, Cosmo and co...get your OV sticks, HPT sticks and all the rest of your shopping at either www.buy-clearblue.co.uk,www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk or www.valuemed.co.uk and enter the code value5% when you checkout.

I bought some HPT's from them and they sent me an email saying I could have a code for friends to use if I was part of a TTC group, so its all legitimate. I've used them twice so far and they've been excellent. Next day delivery on HPT's for Saturday first wee testing!!!

AF is a big mean painful old witch. Hope taking some painkillers helps or I'll be going back to bed instead of sitting at my desk .

that would confirm my faith lets hope on it eh?? in the mean time i will temp with vigour and all that lol

Cosmogirl · 13/04/2008 21:37

Think that sounds about right BB. Tis all a tad confusing though isn't it? Sure it will become clearer as time goes on. Hopefully you lot will all have your BFPs by then tho

Hope FF is right and AF shows herself tonight or tomorrow....

Broodybabywannabe · 13/04/2008 21:35

tinks when u get on as the temping expert could you possibly let me know whether i have to temp before getting out of bed? or if i just need to do it at the same time of the day? or if anyone else knows?? x

Broodybabywannabe · 13/04/2008 21:33

lol cos at least you know its prob just the pill upsetting your AF, is that bit comforting?

ive put in my period date, and its forecast when i should ov and that, so i think i will get thermometer tomo, and temp between now and then, and obv GOF too, then if temp spikes around when it says i should ov then i know its right?? is that right?

arg this is driving me nuts! i wasnt obsessed the first time honest lol

Cosmogirl · 13/04/2008 21:32

I like how FF tells you about the new moon - is this supposed to influence the menstrual cycle?!

Cosmogirl · 13/04/2008 21:30

Thanks BB . Not sure how the FF thing works it out. Just put in last period date (even though it was a pill period) and it says I should have a period today! Well, no sign so far. Think it will be helpful thought, when my cycle is back to normal.

GJ - don't feel bad. Hormones make us do crazy things! I think the ov weeing sticks are supposed to be quite good, but also temping works for a lot of people. TBH, I'm no expert as haven't even had proper periods since before the pill - so 8 years ago.

Broodybabywannabe · 13/04/2008 21:29

GJ i would do it, but i've got no real clue where to order um from?!and i would only have FF's ideas of ov to go on, so i was thinking i will temp and go by FF for one calendar month, and then i will go on to OPKs if it doesnt go to plan!

are you meant to temp befor you get out of bed?? i should prob know this shouldnt i lol

aww cosmo hugs! i feel the same no AF is scaring me but FF says that i am still having fertile days, is that possible?? x

Cosmogirl · 13/04/2008 21:11

Glad to hear a few of us are feeling the same way. With me I guess it's nothing specific, just can't get the thoughts out of my head no matter how hard I try not to think about it.

I just feel like my heart is telling me to stop dithering about and do it. But head is saying, wait a bit longer, get settled in new job, get a bit more financially secure. But it is so hard to decide what to do!! [I've just joined FF too]

Broodybabywannabe · 13/04/2008 21:09

lol GJ you sound perfectly reasonable to me i am feeling more like im spiralling out of control due to lack of af, however my rationale side says (also optimist) cld already be pg as we were at it just before and just after coil out, which according to fertility monitor (c'mon keep up!!) included a fertile day... so optimistic...so unlikely...so desperate

hi cosmo

im om cd 59 according to the fertility website im gonna treat it like god for a while me thinks, as im thinking some hope better than none, truth be told im really upset at af going awol and getting self more than a little hung up on it!!

saw my baby niece today that didnt elp my broodiness, what about u? anything in particular?

Cosmogirl · 13/04/2008 20:54

Evening,

GJ - hope the talk goes well on Tuesday. I have had a weird weekend....feeling stupidly broody again and not as in control as I'd like to feel about the whole thing. Don't think the fact that AF has gone AWOL is helping. I am on CD 56 too BB. No period since I stopped taking the pill.

Just starting to realise how much contraception screws with the body! Hopefully things will return to some sort of normality soon.

Broodybabywannabe · 13/04/2008 20:51

lol me too!! totally clueless! havent actually got a temperature monitor thermometer thingy but gonna go get it and do it tomo, and i have also joined fertility friend which charts your stuff, and gives you a good way to go track whats going on, so thats what im doing, shall start tomom its mad the lengths we go to eh?

i think higher temp = ov? its good that website tho as it shows you when u might ov even tho my AFS are fooked, which makes me feel happier! u can also add your specific feelings for that day, like tired etc and your CM x
