@MrsP20202 that's odd. Can you share how it looks like for the past few days?

MrsP20202 · 31/01/2024 22:00

this is one for all you ladies using opks now my easy at home ones are coming out pretty high but easy blue is not even picking up high anything. This is first time using clear blue or maybe the reason I’m not getting pregnant is because easy at home are are saying I’m ovulating but I’m not Any thoughts?

Racket81 · 31/01/2024 18:37

Me too. X

Gracie1825 · 31/01/2024 18:30

@Racket81 mine is 4th. Really hope it's our month 🤞

Racket81 · 30/01/2024 06:40

After being out last month my predicted OV day is 8th Feb. Good luck to everyone else this month and ci gratulatiins to all the bfps.. really hoping this is my month but I say that every month. X

ChaosAndCrumbs · 29/01/2024 22:42

Thanks, @Daisychain27 😊 That’s really reassuring. It’s so odd for me, I’ve never experienced spotting around ovulation before. I find my cycles can go so weird when trying though, I’ve tracked them without ttc and they’re regular and normal with no new symptoms - as soon as I TTC all the never-before-experienced symptoms pop up 🙈

Daisychain27 · 29/01/2024 15:31

@ChaosAndCrumbs I had my LH peak Friday night and then I’ve had very very tiny amounts of pinky discharge ever since, my cervix is usually super sensitive around ovulation so whenever we DTD at that time I usually notice it, could it be that? I don’t really mind it as it reminds me I am actually ovulating! I’ve had tests done and nothing sinister has ever been found, doc said it’s just the hormonal changes sometimes make people’s cervix’s more sensitive

ChaosAndCrumbs · 29/01/2024 14:27

@Dizzy1994 Ive never yet had a positive early test for either of my pregnancies, so crossing my fingers for you. Sorry you’ve had such a tough time recently, that sounds tricky ❤️

I only got the static smiley on a clearblue 48h ago and yet I’ve got blood in discharge this morning 😬 could be ovulation? Equally could be AF coming blooming early. Nail biting stiff this TTC isn’t it? I’m sure my cycles haven’t been this weird for a while.

Dizzy1994 · 29/01/2024 13:09

I am so confused.... No AF... two days late... negative early responses.
Could I still be in with a chance? It has been a hard few months with redundancy, house sale falling through, health issues and more and I can't take much more.

Linalou12 · 29/01/2024 08:39

Sadly AF came for me yesterday! On to cycle number 5, trying to stay positive! Good luck and baby dust everyone!

ChaosAndCrumbs · 29/01/2024 07:29

@Daisychain27 Fingers crossed for your TWW - I’m just in mine today too! It’s totally normal for levels to drop (I don’t know specific amounts), but the LH has done its job once ovulation happens so it drops right down and returns to baseline levels.

Im not sure re. symptoms, but we’re all different and what’s normal for one isn’t for another. I think if you’re saying it only happens half your cycles, it may not be an issue at all, just something that’s part of your personal cycle.

Lying down isn’t that important. Some studies show it might help, but tend to be focused on IUI which is a slightly different process anyway. Other studies show orgasms might help, but again, others don’t show this - same with laughing after sex (!) but it’s clearly not a prerequisite because people get pregnant by accident in awful situations as well as positive ones. Women can get pregnant standing up dtd, let alone walking round after. It’s literally what sperm were made for!

Libbynznz · 29/01/2024 06:19

I think I’m 2dpo. Only think I have is peeing lots. Did this last cycle

Daisychain27 · 28/01/2024 23:31

Hi all, I’m back and in the TWW! I got my peak (LH 1.25) Friday night (CD16) so we BD’ed yesterday CD17 (Premom says this is when I ovulated) and today CD18 (1DPO), but I’m a bit concerned as I’ve had no ovulation symptoms at all, including no ewcm. Does anyone know if this is a problem? Sometimes I do get ovulation symptoms and I get ewcm about 50% of cycles but if I blink I’d missed it.

Also I’m sort of new to OPKs. My peak was 48 hours ago on Friday night, 1.25, and I’ve just tested now tonight and it’s 0.06, there is literally barely any line there at all! Is it usual to crash this low after ovulation?

Last question, how crucial is it to lie down for a bit after sex? I’ve been getting up after a few minutes to use the loo, now worried I’ve jeopardised things?

Thanks :)

Did those who got bfps have any symptoms during the wait?
I'm dpo 4 today. Feel a bit tired but that's all.

TrainIsMoving · 28/01/2024 21:03

@ChaosAndCrumbs I think boots early test is mentioned quite a lot as reliable. I have always used frer but find them quite expensive so using easyhome ones and if anything shows up, I'll try frer

ChaosAndCrumbs · 26/01/2024 10:58

@Firestarter9 lovely to have you jump on!

Has anyone got any idea which tests are most reliable atm? I know people used to say first response early result, then I think everyone said Boots early result, but recently read boots were having issues with evap lines?

Firestarter9 · 26/01/2024 09:05

Hi all, hope it’s ok to jump on! Probably for a short time as period due today 🙈 bfn so far, haven’t tested today (13DPO) as no tests here. Did a LH strip and it’s 0.45, when I did one a few days ago it was barely 0.1, but I know LH can rise a bit before your period anyway. I don’t feel like I’m about to start my period weirdly, no symptoms, although a tiny bit of brown spotting (tiny bit on a tissue, nothing in underwear). Temp dropped today too and my LP is usually 11-13 days, so most likely AF will arrive shortly!
chart is very wonky this month due to illness and stress

Linalou12 · 26/01/2024 08:18

Morning everyone! My temperature stayed down and I caved and tested this morning - a BFN at 11dpo. I’ve got very sore boobs and feeling very tired and cranky so I think AF is on the way unfortunately.

This has been our 4th cycle of trying for baby #1 and I know it’s not that long, but I’m starting to get a bit disheartened. I’m 30 and dh 33, we‘re both fit and healthy and I was an unplanned surprise to my parents so I naively expected to fall quickly!

ChaosAndCrumbs · 26/01/2024 07:01

@sorcha1292 hello 😊 Don’t worry, it’s normal for conception to take different times for different children. We took a year to have dc1, first try for dc2 and tried last cycle for dc2, but haven’t had luck yet. I know how you feel though, I was disappointed for it not to work last cycle - even though I knew it was unlikely to be another first try success.

Congratulations, @JemRose! Progression looks good!

Crossing my fingers for your bfp next month, @Racket81.

@Linalou12, hope AF doesn’t arrive 🤞

My cycle was so weird last month, it’s back to normal I think this month, but I was still on clearblue flashing face yesterday, so will test this morning to see if finally get the surge.

sorcha1292 · 25/01/2024 16:21

Hi hope it's OK to join... TTC for second child, although with new partner.
We are now on the fourth cycle, I have to admit I naively thought it would happen straight away was it was accidental with my first.
I know it's only been four months but I'm already worrying as I keep having friends who seem to get pregnant on the first try!

Due on tomorrow but no symtpms.... test today was negative:(

Linalou12 · 25/01/2024 14:00

Thanks @JemRose ! I’ll just have to wait and see what happens tomorrow, hoping aunt flo doesn’t show early!

JemRose · 25/01/2024 12:45

@Linalou12 you could be experiencing the implantation dip which some people get the day or day after implantation occurs, which lines up with you dpo. Google it, the dip can be quite significant and lasts 1 or 2 days. Fingers crossed for you!

Linalou12 · 25/01/2024 10:06

Sorry to hear it @Feelinghappy19 and @Racket81

congrats @JemRose progression looks great!

JemRose · 25/01/2024 10:03

*Dpo not Soo!
