Happy New Year
@SouthwestSis the weather is dreadful isn't it? We took the trees down today and got everywhere cleaned and tidy. DS is a bit confused though bless him and thinks we were cleaning the house so it was tidy for Santa 🤣

Happy new year all!
I'm D10PO today and resisting the urge to test, wish we could go out so I was distracted but yet another day bucketing with rain. Going to turn focus to cleaning and tidying the house instead to get us off to a good start in 2024.

Supertrooper101 · 01/01/2024 13:04

PS The dates add up and everything 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Bumblebee413 · 31/12/2023 22:43

I like the idea of a new year, new thread.

Wishing you all a wonderful, healthy and Happy New Year with many sticky beans. Thank you all for your kindness and support over the last year.

Just to get this out there first so that hopefully I at least start out sounding a little less crazy when the newbies join the next thread…. Spotting today. Implantation bleeding…??? 😂

jellyfish2210 · 31/12/2023 22:33

Seems apt that the thread is almost full at the end of 2023. Lovely to see a few got their BFP. Hoping 2024 will bring many more. Appreciate all the support even though I'm new to the group 😊

Does someone want to start a new "2024 TTC 35+" sometime tomorrow?

Massive congratulations @Khanga27 and @JC084 . Wishing you healthy sticky babies and easy pregnancies.
I would try not too worry too much about the dye stealer. Could be early implantation, twins or just a good rise in hormones. Maybe book an early scan for reassurance or ask nhs if they will do one.

Happy belated birthday @worldwidetravel2017 and @SnookyPook

And a happy new year everyone. Wishing you all good health and the arrival of your long awaited bundles of joy

Thank you

Have an ace nye

We are off out @ 10pm

@VixFromThe6ix what lovely words and yes, wishing the same for everyone - healthy rainbow babies all round 🙏🏼🌈💕

RoseH36 · 31/12/2023 16:44

@worldwidetravel2017 you've had a lot to contend with this year. I'll be trying to eat a bit better in Jan but do find it hardest over winter.

@VixFromThe6ix Happy New Year to you too, I hope that you're doing well.

A big thank you to you all for your support this year. It's certainly been a rollercoaster for so many of us and I really hope 2024 is much kinder 🙏

JC084 · 31/12/2023 15:21

@worldwidetravel2017 the bmi thing irritates me too, I always joke my boobs must account for at least half a stone 😂😂 I try not to weigh myself if I can but last time I did I was 11 stone 11 pounds. Which is still around a stone heavier than I was before having my son. My boobs and body shape have naturally changed loads though so don't know if I'd look right losing loads more.

Glad you had a good birthday, sounds like you had the relaxing day you deserved 😊

Id love to be 11 , 11 again

April 2022 i was under 12 stone - just

However - the last 12 months - grandads death , early miscarriage,
Many urgent 2 ww ,
Cfs diagnosis etc
And then may 2022 / june 2022 - very sick with ebv / glandular fever took their toll

Id love to lose a stone and a half

Realistically - id be happy if i lost half a stone by March

I start a new job in feb so that will help

And thank u

One of my partners - friends - wives - just had her first at 39..

Gives me hope - when i worry over now being 37

worldwidetravel2017 · 31/12/2023 09:31

RoseH36 · 30/12/2023 21:59

@worldwidetravel2017 you do need to take progesterone as instructed though, as I've found out. It delayed my period by 6 days just taking it 2 days before AF was due when I was convinced at that point in was pregnant.

I've been told to take it from a positive test but last month my CP happened so fast it didn't have time to work. I considered next time taking it from day 21 but with how much its delayed my period I don't know what to do for the best now.

Tricky tricky

I dont have access to it yet and earliest id be taking it would potentially be next spring

Its just when i or they havent yet found a progesterone spike , - i question if thats an issue

Particularly when for a few ' reasons ' - 'im currently overweight and i read online that progesterone is often an issue for those who are over weight and those who are under weight

Last time on scales i was 13 stone 10..

Bmi annoys me in that using just height and weight - they dont consider boob / chest size etc

I hope u have some easier , gentler times soon

worldwidetravel2017 · 31/12/2023 09:27

Lalaland13 · 30/12/2023 22:10

Not investigated progesterone as yet, still fairly early in the TTC process. Had my thyroid tested this week- no results yet.

:)
Hope u have a lovely nye

@worldwidetravel2017 hope easyer times are coming your way, think out of all of us you deserve a break x the progesterone from superdrug, is it the same theory as testing on day 21 to see if you ovulated? Its 9mths now ttc after the mmc. Had a couple of day 21s done and got another one to do in feb with an amh one. Had my shbt done a couple times too as thats been low. Testosterone normal androgen index normal. So that ones out of place. Oestradial was low on day 2 though too. Got a bunch done on hertility after seeing you mention it too. Really impressed with them.

Yes

Obviously i dont always do it on ' day 21 ' .as for example - mu jul and Aug cycle aug variation and ovulation tracking - meant one of those id ovulated by / around day 21 - one i hadnt

Day 21 = 4 ish days after ovulation.

My medical records state my hormone n fertility bloods were all good - as per summer ..
Im guna ask them next week - if - given its 5 months since ' summer - if theres any hormone ones NHS would / will test before we try again in march

I do want them to test progesterone on NHS - if it comes to me paying 40 gbp x2 to super drug to test it twice in jan n feb - i will

Having had the sept early miscarriage - im anxious // nervous re trying again
But - i remind myself we could of just beem unlucky - -
And one miscarriage doesnt necessarily mean lots more etc

Are you doing anything for nye tonight ?

We are guna go out 4 a couple of hrs from 10pm ish - a little social..
Im tired and have a very busy week next week..
Hosp bloods jan 3rd linked to b12 etc too.

What a year
But i had a nice birthday yesterday - my partner took me shopping - and 4 lunch and 4 a walk etc and we got cheesecake ( free!) And a ( free ) drink thanks to various marketing emails
& then watching the voice together
And we were ' naughty ' - having yummy chicken Kiev - i normally avoid meat in bread crumbs now due to my liver issues.

Eating low fat soup most days and iron rich cereal with iron rich fruit added ( for 2 of my 3 meals a day)

Loving my exercise bike
& whilst i haven't been on the scales in the last week - i had lost a few pounds the week before

Awaiting the date for my next ' near future colonoscopy ( jan or Feb hopefully) - they know we are guna try and concieve from march ish
And waiting a date 4 my ' smart ish ' liver fibro scan
And have to chase gynae again next week
