It seems AF is coming to get me end of this week (Fri), so instead of feeling sorry for myself I’m trying to look forward to October and getting to try again! šŸ¤žšŸ»šŸ¤žšŸ»šŸ¤žšŸ»

Anyone else with me?

Hi @ViL89 - not an October BFP but had it twice and I never really had any symptoms. Don't drive yourself mad, you know that most implantation only happens at or after 9dpo so you wouldn't feel anything yet.

ViL89 · 28/10/2021 08:19

Hi October BFP ladies did you have any symptoms at 10/11dpo? I feel like I should be feeling more symptoms and I'm not šŸ˜‘šŸ˜‘ AF due Sunday but not testing this week. Trying not to symptoms spot. I had spotting at 6/7DPO but nothing since.

Xxxx

Squiff70 · 13/10/2021 13:08

Afternoon ladies. I've been reading your posts but not really joined in as I know absolutely nothing about temping, sorry, and didn't have anything useful to add.

There have been soooo many post here in the last 14 ish hours that we're going to need a new thread soon.

I'm saddened to hear this cycle for some of you is 6+. I can only imagine how frustrating it is to just want a child and not be getting that BFP. I used to be on a thread here 3 years ago where some ladies were getting their BFPs after many many months of trying. They went on to have healthy babies and there's a whole tribe of them now! I stayed in touch with some of them and one even gave birth to her second child a week ago.

On a personal note, this is my first cycle for my 5th child. Please let me explain.

In 2018 I fell pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. Sadly we lost them both at 19+4w in January 2019 due to placental abruption.

Later in 2019 I fell pregnant, again with twins and again a boy and a girl. I went into labour at 22+4w and our daughter was delivered the next day. Our son was born three days later but sadly he was only with us for four days. He did not survive the early neonatal period. Our daughter did survive and next month she will be two. She had a lot of complications, all of which she overcame, and despite delayed development she's as healthy as most other nearly 2 year old children. We would like her to have a surviving brother or sister, hence our TTC journey continues.

So, although I long for that BFP, for me I won't relax until I have a healthy baby in my arms. I'm 39 so time is ticking for us.

Baby dust to all Star

SammiStap · 13/10/2021 12:11

Ok @FlyOnTheWall89 and @Effram thanks maybe I will try and get a FRER at the weekend. That is first response isn’t it?

@apwilso aww bless you it’s so awful isn’t it. I do hope you have a BFP soon. I’d love to get mine and currently don’t know what to think !

apwilso · 13/10/2021 11:52

@SammiStap I'm same same as you mmc in April was due around Christmas and now I want it so bad before then!

Effram · 13/10/2021 11:48

@SammiStap I do think clearblue are less sensitive than FRER, even the early detection ones. I'll keep everything crossed.

@Wingingthis I'm trying for no3 too :) DPO means days post ovulation x

FlyOnTheWall89 · 13/10/2021 11:45

@SammiStap Yes so frustrating - I just want my BFP. My friends who have had kids at this point mostly for pregnant either first time or within 6/7 months. I just don't get it.

I think FRER are best. CB early detection technically should show something if you are due AF but everyone swears by pink dye, not blue and many people have said they don't get a positive until after missed AF... if you implanted late, there may not enough hCG. x

Wingingthis · 13/10/2021 11:42

Hello šŸ¤ trying for baby #3 here no luck so far!! Can anyone explain to me what DPO means?

FlyOnTheWall89 · 13/10/2021 11:38

@Digby86 I feel ya haha. I am 6 cycles in and also 4DPO and im very aware but I have to say I am more peaceful about the whole thing than I was last month. I got myself in such a tiz and was generally so not myself. Cant bear to be like that again for these few weeks. Fingers crossed for us x

SammiStap · 13/10/2021 11:36

@FlyOnTheWall89 it’s frustrating isn’t it! Why can’t it just happen especially when you know you got it all covered!
When I had mmc in July I wanted to be pregnant again by Christmas and I do t know if it will happen although…
Af hasn’t arrived yet which I find is odd as it’s meant to be today really and I’ve had some spotting for the past three days so I don’t know what’s going on. Bloody annoying but still holding onto hope that my BFN this morning is a false alarm!
It was a CB 6 day early one so…thought it would have worked hut maybe still not enough hCG?

Effram · 13/10/2021 11:11

Only time will tell I guess!

@Digby86 Yes good luck I found I escalated in obsessiveness but I did enjoy getting to know my body. I just became so aware of every little tiny twinge etc that were probably always there but I never noticed before...

@Bundaberg84 imagining one teeny tiny super hardcore sperm now clinging on by its ?fingernails haha!

@Danani I reckon Saturday night is probably not far off but there's not point trying to work it out now (I realise that is a hypocritical thing for me to say!) but @BH1926 is a great example of how it doesn't need to be timed to O exactly with the hardy 5 day sperm there !!!!
