Hi guys

Not sure about anyone else but i have found that that i have tried posting on various threads and sometimes your own post gets really lost which can be slightly disheartening. I thought i would start this thread for anyone who has just started their TTC journey and together we can share our thoughts and experiences.... i do ask that (not to be mean) that this thread is only for people who have just started their TTC journey to avoid disappointment for people who are way into their journey and who may be experiencing different things. My own story is that i came of the pill in September and have yet to get my BFP. I got my first positive on Saturday just gone and now im 1dpo. Be great to hear from anyone in a similiar boat! Xx

@fioney25 @jenna30 I'm pretty sure it's just AF playing silly beggars - more brown spotting today but barely even noticeable on a pantyliner. I think it's just a weird start to AF. I'll just wait and see if she shows her true colours over the weekend, I guess -- I couldn't POAS to double check even if I was tempted as I'm not home until tomorrow night. I'm not really hopeful though and already assuming I'm out for the month.

jenna30 · 27/12/2019 15:05

@fioney25 thank you! My af is due in three days and i only have one FRER left so im going to wait. I did do a one step cheapy test and it showed up with a BFN but ive heard they work for some but don't for others. Though im sure its probably correct as ive not had any symptoms. But by the sounds of it with you, you didn't either except the twinges. Ahhh will see how the next few days go. Xx

@EithneBlue Thank you 😘 How are you?! Sounds positive from what you've been saying earlier. Are you going to test before Sunday or wait?

@jenna30 thank you! 😘 No symptoms at all, I had some mild twinges but nothing else! How are you doing?! Are you doing a FRER or holding out until your AF due date?

Fingers crossed for you both!! xx

@KQM18 it is Christmas so i think scoffing is fine 🤪. I wish you good luck in your TTC journey.

Hello, would it be ok for me to join too?

I'm 32 and husband is 33. We have agreed to start trying at the end of February. I just need to keep reminding myself that it really is not that long to wait! Plus it's a great opportunity to try and lose some much needed weight (as I sit thinking of the box of ferreror rocher in my dining room) 🙈

jenna30 · 27/12/2019 10:52

@swirls3468 only advice i can give is to try and not think about it too much as they say stress doesn't help. Having said this i know its easier said than done so all you can do is go with what you think is best and if that means overthinking then be so be it. Its good you have taken a relaxed approach and i hope you get a BFP soon. Keep us updated. 🙂

@EithneBlue sounds like implantation? But i don't want to get to excited for you yet. Keep us updated with af.... it could be your month. 🤞🏽 x

@EithneBlue awh thanks for asking. Im fine. I guess because im expecting af to arrive this month I've accepted the fact its not my month and I'm actually feeling okay about it. Christmas was great i even had a cheeky drink or two. How was your Christmas?

@fioney25 how amazing. So happy for you and what a perfect Christmas present. Did you get any symptoms? X

EithneBlue · 27/12/2019 08:11

@fioney25 that's a pretty great start! :-) Shall I wait until after AF due date to congratulate you? ;-) (congrats!)

@jenna30 I hear you on seeing other people's babies, seeing all my friends post photos of them with their own kids over Christmas has just made me like "but I want one nowww" -- how are you doing otherwise? Good Christmas?

Meanwhile I have had an odd couple of days - brown spotting on Wednesday night -- assumed AF was paying an early visit (due Sundayish) and fully expected to wake up yesterday or today with a full blown witch in my pants. But now... nothing. I'm now at the in-laws with no access to a stick on which I might pee so I shall have to satisfy myself with googling 'is this implantation bleeding or AF?'. I guess I shall just wait and see. If AF hasn't arrived by Sunday morning I shall be back to POAS.

fioney25 · 27/12/2019 00:43

@jenna30 Heyyy! Thanks for wondering about me,so kind of you!!☺️ My AF is due on Sunday but I've done 2 FRER tests and they are positive 😬 waiting until AF is due before I get too excited! How are you doing?? xx

swirls3468 · 26/12/2019 22:45

Hello All!
I’d love to join the thread as I am trying to conceive baby number 1.
I’m so broody it’s unreal.
I come off the pill in August and had a real period in September so classing that as the start of the ttc. I have been having regular sex but a relaxed approach.. it’s not happened just yet so starting to get a bit worried like it’s not going to happen. I am a bit impatient anyway. My cousins just had a baby and really confirms how much I want my own!!! Hope to hear off you all. Any advice would be appreciated xxx take care all

MrsH0692 · 26/12/2019 22:21

AF has been and gone... Cycle day 6, this is our first full month of me testing ovulation etc to try and understand my cycles a bit more. According to Flo App ovulation will be New Year’s Day. So 🤞🏼, don’t want to make DTD to clinical and forced! Xxx

FirsttimeTTC · 26/12/2019 20:23

@jenna30 omg I know what you mean! I spent Christmas with my ILs and my niece was there (2 weeks old). Lots of cuddles, made me so excited to get pregnant. I did feel a little bit jealous mind, which I totally hated!! I never feel jealous :(

jenna30 · 26/12/2019 19:53

@EithneBlue hiya i hope you had a lovely xmas. My af is due in four days. I had a lovely day yesterday and even though i was distracted, having my cousin around with his new baby just makes me want one so much more. X

OP posts:
EithneBlue · 25/12/2019 07:31

@jenna30 I'm definitely also feeling out this month - I know there's a lot of "you're not out until AF is here" but the only symptoms I've had are totally psychosomatic (and an obsessive desire to POAS)... also the BFN at 11DPO yesterday was pretty clear. I have decided probably not to test now until after AF is due, it's just demoralising and financially foolish -- that way if AF comes I am on to cycle 2 (ish) and if I'm wrong it'll be a nice surprise.

When is AF due for you? At least you can now have a few Christmas drinks without feeling too guilty. I know I will be!

Have a lovely Christmas ladies!! Xx

jenna30 · 24/12/2019 21:42

@fioney25 Hope you are well? I was wondering how you were doing as i think we are on the same dpo. X

jenna30 · 24/12/2019 11:02

Well ladies, i think I'm out this month. I haven't started af and still have awhile yet for it to appear. But i have no symptoms what so ever. I know many people will say that i have still have time but I just have this feeling its not happening for me this month. I hope you ladies have a lovely Christmas and some good news 😀 xx

Sorry my typing errors were stupid. I mean the soreness has pretty much gone away so far (although it's not even 10am yet).... Not 19am!!

Sausage1990 · 24/12/2019 09:58

@jenna30 We will have to wait and see. I don't know if it's normal for symptoms to come and go? The soreness has gone away pretty today (well so far, it's not even 19am yet) But I was so sore Sunday and still a bit achey yesterday...

Does anyone else have any symptoms in their tww?

Hope you guys are all looking forward to Christmas - hope you have a great time with your loved ones ❤️🎄🎅

jenna30 · 23/12/2019 13:46

@Sausage1990 hiya. Sounds like it could be good news for you this month possibly. Especially as you stopped the pill on 2016 and your cycles are regular. Keep us updated 😃 p.s TWW can be awful

Hi @Lucy5546 thats okay. Its good to hear you have been busy (stops you from overthinking). I was the same this weekend. Just looking forward to Christmas now which will keep me distracted 😃

Lucy5546 · 23/12/2019 10:34

Hi @jenna30 sorry i havent been very active lately. I have been so busy. Dizziness has gone. Only lasted those two days. I havent been symptom spotting the last few days haven't had the time haha. But nothing seems out of the ordinary now. Im roughly 8 DPO and feel no different to last month.

How is everyone else??

Sausage1990 · 23/12/2019 00:16

Hi ladies - do you mind if I join you?

It's my 1st month TTC too. We got married in October and agreed we would start trying in January but ended up trying this month anyway as I assumed it wouldn't hurt as its unlikely that it'll happen.

I'm just tracking CM and using the Flo app (as I have for years as I've not been on the pill since 2016). My suggested day of ovulation was 16th so we BD on the 15th and in the 18th I had really painful ovulation pain (which I do get on probably 75% of my cycles) so we BD again just incase.

Since Friday I've started to notice some brrast tenderness and today it's noticeably different. Not shooting pains but more aches and pains, a heavy feeling. Which isn't something I usually experience pre af... But who knows I'm either 5dpo or 7dpo... Due af on the 31st!

God the tww is SOOO LONG!!!

I'm trying not to overthink this but wanted to share and join this group as we all seem to be in the same boat.
Xx
