2dpo & staring down another abyss of symptom analysing, early test resisting, date calculating, FW debriefing crazy brain.

Anyone care to ride it out together? Welcome spotters and distractors alike x

bfn i shall await af as normally only have a 11 day wait after ov before af :( really thought this was our month

sunshineandsparkles · 19/04/2018 07:47

@PassTheAfterEights
I do indeed exist! Certainly not on the baby bus but thanks for the giggle!!

sexnotgender · 18/04/2018 17:27

Thanks Dboo. Pretty sure it’s a loss but I’ll maybe test Friday anyway.

DBoo · 18/04/2018 17:19

sex you poor thing. I would give it a few days then test again. You really never know with bleeds. If it does turn out to be bad news please look after yourself and use the support on here. Ive had two losses and a stillbirth and know how heartbreaking it is. In kping everything crossed for u tho.

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 18/04/2018 17:13

Thank you @passtheaftereights for your mind words. I'm not due AF unti Monday so have an early result, keeping everything crossed that it sticks. I must admit I'm feeling very giddy from it all right now.
Wishing everyone all the best and lots of baby dust xx

sexnotgender · 18/04/2018 16:47

Feeling really crappy. AF was 4 days late and I got a positive test day 4.

DBoo · 18/04/2018 11:53

sexnot im so sorry. How are you feeling? Was af late?

lolacola13 · 18/04/2018 10:40

So we're all having a bit of a shit week. Lol chin up girls . We should all try and book something to cheer ourselves up . Everyone book a salon appointment or girls night out . Vino a plenty! Xoxoxoxo

sexnotgender · 18/04/2018 10:39

I reckon I’m out, clotting and some cramping.
So disappointed.

PassTheAfterEights · 18/04/2018 09:32

Ahh @lolacola13 everything you said, basically. I've been woefully weak and i suppose obsessive about early testing since we started ttc 5 cycles ago and it obviously didn't help that we got an early bfp on the first go, but now dawning that it's probably £65 we'd have had for something else. plus the downside for one's outlook. i get it for people whose cycles are all over the place but i can't claim that as an excuse. the only thing is, those bastard early lines might indicate repeat chemical pregs for me and if that's the case i need to take it seriously. ugh. will think clearer about all of it once AF has been. well done for your PMA, taking a leaf out of your book! x

@PassTheAfterEights hey ! No pos news here intact the opposite had a bfn today on my last frer . Have no more cheapies or any tests left in house so just going to wait patiently for af this weekend . Sunday Monday it should be here . Not buying anymore tests can't afford it! Had a little cry this morning but onwards I have revision to do and a house to clean. 🙄. Think I'm going to have to start being really stern with myself and delete mumsnet or stop buying tests and start living a bit more ... 4 months in and I'm already starting to lose it / not be able to concentrate on anything else . It's like some sort of primal urge which I know is natural at 30... but doesn't bode well for ones mental health . I can't begin to imagine how it feels for people trying a year+...

PassTheAfterEights · 18/04/2018 09:00

meant @sunshinesparklessmiles obviously and now desperately hoping there isn't another MN'er with the handle sunshineandsparkles who I just managed to congratulate on their pregnancy...

PassTheAfterEights · 18/04/2018 08:59

@sunshineandsparkles omg!!!!! Congratulations, GREAT line!!! This is the good news we needed, so happy for you!!

hey to the new MN'ers on the block :) if you haven't already have a look at the conception forum 'bus' threads - this is the current (second) April bus (meaning for those hoping for BFP in April) www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/3224431-April-Bus-2

there's a lot of great advice and knowledge share around apps and ovulation and spotting and symptoms and testing and all that stuff basically.

@winterwarmers how annoying - the bloody blue dye tests are so unreliable. keeping fingers crossed you're not out.

same goes for @sexnotgender so cruel, depends on how heavy it is really - spotting or light bleeding can be fine in early pregnancy, normal AF style flo is probably not great news. if you're on the fence another test should help. huge fx for you that it's not over x

@lolacola13 how are you, any news today?

still technically in 2ww wait here, AF due yesterday and for the first time in living memory she's late. It doesn't mean anything other than she's more of a bitch than I already thought and have no expectations of the test I have to do for the clearblue trial this morning (had an annoying 0513 wee too so won't exactly be FMU). just really looking forward to seeing that "NOT PREGNANT" 👌😭

aaaaaand baby bombed last night by DH's best girlfriend's second pregnancy. sob.

good luck and good vibes to all xx

Thanks starwishing I feel more normal now! The thing is I see them almost every day in my job in childcare, they just got to me yesterday!

starwishing · 18/04/2018 08:25

@EnglishIrishRose seeing new babies and crying is noting to do with hormones at all it's just a human reaction. My son cries when he sees newborn babies and he's not even ttc

EnglishIrishRose · 18/04/2018 07:45

Like everyone else I can see a line there SunshineSparklesSmiles congrats!

sexnotgender hope you're not out, some women bleed at their normal time of the month all the way through pregnancy as weird as that sounds.

I saw four newborn babies in the same place yesterday and had to resist the urge to sob! My emotions are all over the place but I think it's progesterone - too early for pregnancy hormones.

DBoo · 18/04/2018 07:11

Sorry about the bfn goneswimming when is af due?

DBoo · 18/04/2018 07:10

Congratulations sunshine. Definite bfp there!

sex not necessarily bleeding in early pregnancy is more common than you think see how you get on today. If you have no cramps that's a good sign.

wish i keep looking and looking and thinking is there a little something? Either way the fact i have to keep looking i would say its not clear enough yet. Have another try tonorrow. Fingers crossed for you.

goneswimming · 18/04/2018 06:51

I don't know why I'm still torturing myself but I can't help testing every morning! Another bfn today, af due tomorrow.

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 18/04/2018 06:29

@winterwarmers The wait is a complete rotter; I hope you get your bfp soon.

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 18/04/2018 06:28

@sexnotgender, I am so sorry to hear that Sad

winterwarmers · 18/04/2018 06:19

@SunshineSparklesSmiles af was due yesterday but i ovulated late so probably due tomorrow

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 18/04/2018 06:18

Hi @winterwarmers, I can't see a line at the moment unfortunately Sad when is AF due? I will keep my fingers crossed for you as you're still in with a chance until AF shows.

sexnotgender · 18/04/2018 06:16

Well my joy at my BFP has been short lived. Started bleeding last night so I assume that’s game over?

winterwarmers · 18/04/2018 06:11

@SunshineSparklesSmiles that's a bfp congratulations

i just did my frer and i think it's a bfn :( what do you think?
