I’m going to test on xmas morning RDW. Not due til 27th. Not exactly holding out hope but at least I can drown my sorrows. Got my first response as part of my Xmas shopping.

@aph413 That’s what I was thinking. I also don’t want dh to feel used!

I was tempted to test Christmas morning (although af isn’t due until 28th) as if positive it could make a nice xmas present for dh :) but I decided I didn’t want to put a dampener I on the day if it was negative :/

@ImpatientMammy. I have no idea what dpo I am! I tried to track my ovulation with clear blue digital ovu sticks but ran out on cd21 and I hadn't had a static, I had been testing from cd8. I had loads of watery cm last Friday through the weekend so maybe I only ovulated last weekend - who knows!

The official advice is to have sex every other day throughout your cycle. But we don’t have time for that! Try to do it daily in the five days up to ovulation and sometimes the day after.

We dtd once or twice a week normally but ramp it up during the fertile week. I refuse to let sex become a chore while we're TTC.
I've had 2 days of positive looking opks and now they 're thoroughly negative so I am officially in the tww! Not sure how I feel about testing or getting AF ON Christmas though Hmm

How often do you guys dtd per month, and do you do it outside the fertile window? (If you don’t mind me asking!)

We are ttc cycle 1, and I’ve been so excited to start trying we have been ‘trying’ outside the fertile window forecast (estimated, I haven’t tried opks or bbt), but I thought maybe it’s best to dtd throughout the month in case i ovulate early/late?

Really miffed. Just did an ASDA test, 2 hour pee hold and bfn. There wasn't even a hint of a line and I'm due on today :-(

Positive opks today which is good seeing as I only stopped my cerazette 3 weeks ago..... feel like now it 'really' begins as I have a date to count from.....

Just found some info out from another thread

Benylin the mucus cough medicine has helped lots of people conceive as it thins out your cm and makes it sperm friendly

If you are going to buy it make sure you buy
One with Guaifenesin as the active ingredient

Have a quick Google to see the benefits

@Gem173. I've been exactly the same this month. Last weekend I had enough cm to sink a ship lol and I've carried on having whitish/yellowish cm, I even have it today on af due date.

Buzz I'm prob going to start testing around 8-9 dpo

Lost of people are picking up positives around that time
And I have 5 tests to use, that's my plan
