Thank you for explaining all of that Stork - it's nice to be able to go in with my eyes open and half expect what's coming!!
Yeah, I'll have to see the counsellor on the day of my first consult too. I have an appointment with a consultant (can't remember the name, it's in my letter confirming my app on the 9th Dec), but I don't think it's the Director. Either way it doesn't matter who it is because to me (naively) they're all the same and do the same job, I guess!
It surprises me that it's more nurse run that consultant run, even if they are running off consultant protocol. I would've thought that you would have had to of seen the consultant a lot more than you have done, but I suppose if the nurses can tell you what's what, there's no real need...
I can understand why you'd get a bit peeved re the lack of continuity. It's a bit slapdash, isn't it? But on the other hand, in their defence, i guess they're so busy that they can't have an assigned case load! I'm glad that they managed to sort out your medication problem though. They all know what they're doing... It's just the fact you see a different face every time you go/phone!!
Kwick, sorry to hear about your wild goose chase with your blood tests. GP surgeries get worse!! Have they just not come back yet, or have they lost them?!
Oh no - what did the nurse say re your follicles?? X
