thanks kitty

the clinic has just rung me to see if we could move EC forward a week (and therefore only DR for 2 weeks) but I checked with MrB and he has a load of meetings that week so I had to turn them down. Its only 1 week so it doesn't really matter, but it does leave me wondering if they're going to be really busy when I'm in (I might be overthinking this a teeny bit :o )

BlindKitty · 19/09/2013 21:48

beedles thanks bud! I think I've defo had done good brooking action so I'll be brooking hard back for you Smile

keepitgoing · 19/09/2013 12:13

oh beedle this one is your time. I am so excited for you. I really hope the downregging goes well, I don't think you found it too awful last time? But even so I hope that you can stimm asap. Di you have a good holiday?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 19/09/2013 11:43

Been back from holiday for a week and I thought it was about time I came back to brooking!

kitty Congratulations on your BFP :o sorry about the spotting, it must be so scary but I'm sure its really nothing.

maybe hope you feel better soon

scarlett well done on your job interviews, though I have to say 3 rounds of interviews sounds a bit much

keep you are indeed right about my next attempt being soon, I started downregging this morning. I think it will be 3 weeks again, but I won't get a definite date to start with stims until they call me in a couple of weeks.

Oh and welcome back stacks I have to say I thought gobbelino who was here a few months ago was you so now I have no idea who gobbelino is/was Confused

I'm quite excited about trying again but at the same time I'm convinced it won't work

keepitgoing · 19/09/2013 10:57

ooh stacks that's exciting. You're hoping for a fairly small gap between the two of them then? Did it take you long last time to conceive? Brooking that this is the last time that AF visits for a good long time. Are you back at work already?

Can't wait for the meet up, brookers!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 18/09/2013 11:51

PM'd you Scarlet Smile

ScarlettInSpace · 18/09/2013 11:21

RubberBullets · 17/09/2013 22:10

How exciting Stacks :o

Stacks · 17/09/2013 18:56

Would I be welcome back trying to TTC #2? My baby Brooker Thomas is nearly 9 months old now, and old Aunt Flo is here for her first visit.

RubberBullets · 17/09/2013 12:09

Nurse as I live in Cornwall I can confirm that you had normal weather for this time of year :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/09/2013 20:15

over here

BlindKitty · 16/09/2013 20:06

Ok so I braved it but I couldn't find it!! Which thread do you go in???

BlindKitty · 16/09/2013 18:33

Thank you wise brookers! Some reassurance is very much appreciated! I'm feeling loads a bit better about it anyway.

Will warily mooch on down to the grads thread then...even if I'm a bit scared!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/09/2013 17:57

Oh, and every time we are down in devon, it's always a wash out Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/09/2013 17:57

Sounds like you're a normal couplt to me Nurse Grin. That's good you have a few dys of admin to ease you in. What wards will you be on?

If it makes you feel better, I only managed a bit of yoghurt from the spread Wink

Is anyone else bloody freezing?!

anactualnurse · 16/09/2013 17:51

Hello hello, well, mr nurse and I are defs in the middle of a transitional period. He is coping admirably with my mountains of stuff which is still everywhere, and despite the odd blazing row tiff, we are doing ok.

First day at work today, albeit a day of mostly admin, more of the same the morra, then my first shifts on the wards are on sat & sun. I fear the early starts and hour + daily commute may break me long before the nursing does.

Luckily, I have been so busy I haven't really had time to think about the fact I'm still not preggers.

maybs Cornwall was a washout good. It was nice to be away, but I had lots of things waiting for me coming back which was a distraction. And I'm sure your autumnal brekkie was lush, but unfortunately I missed it - I wolfed down a bowl of museli at about 0612hrs this morning.

keepitgoing · 16/09/2013 15:43

oh kitty it's so scary when you get spotting, isn't it? But honestly honestly honestly, more people do than don't. There are a billion reasons from it - breakthrough period bleeding, implantation bleeding, cysts, irritation of cervix from sex or dildocams or embryo transfer/IUI, as well as more sinister ones. I had bleeding at 7 weeks, and at 12 weeks, and totally panicked. The advice seems to be if it's light and brown then it's nothing to worry about, but if it's red, heavy, clotty then to seek help. Having said all that I know how it feels. I was always scared to go to the loo for weeks, and given how often i go that made life quite a chore...

great to have nurse back. Give us the low down on living-together-life. When do you start work again?

beedle i think it's not long till your next cycle now, is that right? I am limbering up for lots of dancing.

cartoontrickster · 16/09/2013 15:07

best fluff up the cushions and lay out a buffet ready for kitty

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/09/2013 14:40

You're very right Boo Smile

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 16/09/2013 13:34

Um, Maybe we're very inclusive over on grads, not just for Kitty's kind GrinWink

Seriously though Kitty do come over, we will keep you sane hold your hand while your Kitten settles in.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/09/2013 09:06

Kitty, I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. Spotting is totally normal. Especially at the stage you are at. I had spotting until last week, and I'm 13 weeks now! It is terrifying everytime it happens though. Here for lots of hand holding. Come and join us on the grads, we will put your kind at rest Wink x

Good luck on your first day Nurse!

How is everyone else today?
