Wow congrats lies! What lovely news to wake up to Grin

fluff, welcome. I had a MC on 25th April and got a BFP just over a week ago so yes, it's possible. Fingers crossed for you.

rainbow I hope all goes well at the doc and there hasn't been more spotting. Thinking of you.

overanxious have you got another blood test today? So pleased to hear about the 3+ digi.

saggy sorry you are having a rough time. My DH got in a massive stress about TTC, and it really affected his, erm, performance. It did pass and I really hope it does for you too.

Here's to a sunny and positive week all round.

alicebear · 03/06/2013 06:50

Fab news liesl Smile

Lieslvontrapp · 03/06/2013 06:33

Welcome fluff. Sorry you're here. I guess af might be taking its time but you never know. You could test.

I hope everyone else is well! Well I have been naughty and poas this morning but I got a bfp! I got a really faint line on the internet cheapie so I did a cb digi too and it came up "pregnant 1-2". I'm 12 dpo and part of me still doesn't want to believe it. Think I'm going to buy some more tests today as maybe if I see more 'pregnant' sticks I might start to believe.

ladybonifer · 03/06/2013 04:21

Hey fluff. Best thing to do is to do a pee test I suppose. Fingers crossed. Its quite soon after your procedure and if you didn't have a period its hard to monitor if you ovulated since but I presume it's possible. All the best with finding out. Waiting is the worst.

fluffandnonsense · 02/06/2013 22:46

Can I join? I had a MMC at 14 weeks in April. I had my ERPC on 25th April and bleed for about 2 weeks afterwards. We have been TTC since and I've still not had another period. I'm sure I'm getting my hopes up but do you think I could possibly be pregnant? I had a tiny bit of spotting on Thursday but then nothing else since. I had this before when I was pregnant so it's worrying me slightly that I'm pregnant and something wrong again! Think I need to take a deep breath and stop thinking about it!

CamomileHoneyVanilla · 02/06/2013 22:40

I'm just popping on here while on belated honeymoon so haven't had a proper chance to go through the posts properly:

katatonic - pleased you've had a fab holiday and are back feeling good.

over - have my fingers crossed for you.

lady - really sorry you've had such a terrible time. I hope this thread gives you some of the support you're missing over in Aus.

saggy - hope things are back on track with DH. When things are stressful in the Camomile household I try and remember that the absolute worse case TTC scenario isn't not having a baby, its breaking up over the stress. Xx

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 02/06/2013 22:08

DP and I are talking again.
There have been certain TTC issues recently, and I can read him like a book. He is worrying about having a baby and its having an effect on him. I've tried to broach the subject several times, but he's said all is fine. When this issue arose on Friday night, when I was ovulating, I just lost the plot. I'm so stressed by the whole thing, and the MC, and feeling inadequate I just couldn't keep it in. i just need him to talk to me. I was working yesterday so we didn't speak all day. When I got in last night I had a total meltdown. Bless him, he was so patient. He admits he is worried but knows how I feel about another baby and is still willing to try. I know it's a real issue for DP. He really doesn't like change.
It's just mad. I have wanted another baby for more than a decade. From the minute I became PG everything has just been stress, worry and pain!

Thank you misspos and alice Smile

willitbe Thank you for taking the time to comment, I have updated my original thread too. Thanks for the reassurance and best wishes too. x

alicebear · 02/06/2013 17:41

Nearly forgot sundance also crappy if AF here but hope your plans for next month work out.
This is a very busy thread to keep up with which I love - there's always news. But hard to keep up with everyone esp when using phone so sorry if I've forgotten anyone.

Oh - no experience of pressed or conceive plus to pass on sorry!

alicebear · 02/06/2013 17:38

lady so sorry to hear what you've been through. It sounds very tough. Hope for better luck this time but must be harder being away from your family too.
emki sorry AF looks like she's looming. Pants.
ickle hope the injections do the trick for you. Sounds painful and an annoying barrier to ttc too.
over that does sound hopeful that a in a wk you've gone from 2-3 wks to 3+. Going in the right direction & hope blood test confirms things look gd. Understand you don't want to get hopes up in case but it's looking positive.
saggy sorry rubbish weekend. Have you made up yet? Hope so.
alyant a smiley sounds like a v gd reason to dtd & see what comes with the next few days.
Welcome any newbies too - sorry you're here.
Does time ever go more slowly than the 2ww? AF is due for me next weekend. This is the wk of symptom spotting!

willitbe · 02/06/2013 17:15

Overanxious - great to hear that your levels are increasing. Try not to be too hung up on the numbers. On this recent pregnancy thread there is ladythatlunches says that "My hcg levels were low and never doubled. This resulted in twin girls, I went through weeks of blood tests scans etc as they thought I was having a ectopic or mc. Started at 260 then 48 hours I was 320 then 48 hours I was about 390 then 410 then 480 and so on."

It is hard when you have had previous pregnancy losses, but just try to take one day at a time the mantra "today I am pregnant" is useful, and try not to think ahead. I have real hope that this pregnancy will be ok for you.

Misspositivity · 02/06/2013 16:11

saggy. Can I make it clear I don't "hit" DP that was a typo. Lol

Misspositivity · 02/06/2013 16:09

over yeah to 3+. That's good news. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

saggy. Sorry u and DP are arguing. I hit it when DP and I fight but it is a stressful chapter in our lives. Might be time to get the girls out as a white flag.

alyant. Yeah to smiley face. Get yourself to the bedroom immediately. I think my smiley face was a false peak. Dosen't make sense. Going to test the rest of the month and see what happens and DTD alot.

I currently have not slept since fri night so a bit wrecked. DD has a horrible bout of toncillitus and nasty spike temps. Has had 24 antibiotics and no improvement yet, hopefully soon Not sure I can DTD tonight without snoring.

Sundance2007 · 02/06/2013 16:03

Hi all

Lady - so sorry to hear your story, can't even begin to imagine how devastating. But you're amongst friends here so big hugs.

guff - sounds like you need a hot toddy! Take advantage of the booze whilst AF is hanging around I say! Hope you feel better soon.

So....today I started spotting in what looks like an AF 3 days early. Had a bit of a cry half an hour ago but have pulled myself together now. Doesn't help that the hubby is away for the weekend and not due back until late tonight. He's gonna come back to a drunken, crying mess no doubt! Haha

So, I've decided to up the anti a bit for next month. Going to try and lose a few pounds, cut out alcohol altogether (after tonight) and get a bit more strict with myself on taking pre-conception vitamins etc. I'm still using OPKs, though sounds like they are not the best thing. I've got an app on my phone called 'my days' which has been helpful in charting etc too.

Kind if guessed it wasn't going to happen this month - just my luck that when I got a smiley face in the opk, we couldn't take advantage as I had to go for a smear test at the colposcopy unit the next day and they tell you to avoid IC. Bugger.

OveranxiousUnderated · 02/06/2013 15:50

saggy - hope you've sorted things out with your other half x

emki - I know what you mean about wanting to try something new. I have just had conceive plus delivered but obv not had chance to use it yet! I have been using preseed though which I thought was good and I am now pg, whether that contributed or not I have no idea. Best of luck :)

Welcome to all the new people. Sorry you're here but its nice to talk to people who understand. Thanks Wine

So I bought another box of Clearblue digitals (I know! No more!) just because I had to satisfy my urge. I did one this morning and it has gone upto 3+ which made me so happy in one sense but also I just don't want to get my hopes up what so ever. Got my second blood test tomorrow and then I'm seeing my Dr on wednesdsy for the results.

Hope everyone else is doing okay! Smile

x

icklemssunshine1 · 02/06/2013 13:48

Will be going back for a review with my consultant in 6-8 weeks. If the steroid injections haven't worked then I'll be booked in for surgery, just in time for the 6 weeks holiday! Then it'll be a shag-fest every day! DH has started running again so hopefully he'll have the stamina to cope! :)

alyant79 · 02/06/2013 13:25

welcome ladyb you've had such a tough time of it you poor thing. I really really hope that this pregnancy sticks. Sounds like you really need some good news. (ps i'm an aussie in the UK so it's just like we're swapped Wink)

MissP I'm using those clearblue advance for the first time this month. I got a flashing smiley face for the first time today at CD10 (yay!!). I usually ov (I think, based on ewcm) at around CD11/12 (my cycle is only 24/25 days) so I was expecting to see something today. Don't think that helps your situation though. I'll let you know if it vanishes again tomorrow instead of giving me peak fertility.

penguin i've got everything crossed for your repeat bloods.

welcome back ickle. sorry to hear about your slipped discs. Sounds horribly painful. how long do you have to wait for surgery?

saggy I hope you and DH are back on speaking/shagging terms again

DDMF it's so nice to see AF at the end of a WTF cycle and know that everything is working again, isn't it? Onwards and upwards (and outwards hopefully!)

Emki · 02/06/2013 11:59

Thank you ickle just feel like I need a plan and try new things ... this is only the first month we have ttc since mc, so I'm not getting too neurotic ... but i'm sooooo sad--- will be interesting to try something new - may even do the pineapple which someone on here suggested xx

icklemssunshine1 · 02/06/2013 11:42

Oh & I used the tube not the little pessaries as couldn't be bothered with the hassle of inserting it 20 minutes before intercourse.

icklemssunshine1 · 02/06/2013 11:41

Hi emki, I've used conceive plus. Not sure of its benefits but as someone who has to use lubricant I opted for this as its supposed to be friendly to sperm. I conceived DD (& my little bump in the sky) by using this & OPKs so something works!

Emki · 02/06/2013 11:04

Question ...... I've never used preseed or conceive plus, do any of you have any recommendations??

Emki · 02/06/2013 11:00

Morning all - looks like i'm out for this month - tested this morning and got a big BFN (yes 2 days early - so could still be but I can't think like that - i've had cry and now trying to look ahead) Luckily I got in the wine and the maxi sanitary towels last week.

Only thing now is that DH is away over the next 3 weeks - he will be home at weekends so hoping I OV then - eek!!!

So think i'll try preseed and acupuncture this month - if I manage to DTD at all that is!

guff sorry to hear you're not feeling well - hope its sunny where you are and you can lots of Vit D

saggy how are you today - the pressure we are under is just immense - its a miracle if DH and I don't argue at least once a fortnight - {{{hugs}}} to ou

Hello ickle

icklemssunshine1 · 02/06/2013 10:09

Guff, feel your pain. I've got a stinking cold too. My body must know I'm back to work tomorrow after my sick leave!! I used OPKs with DD but didn't use Internet cheapies. I found they never gave me a dark line. I used Boots OPKs & they were fab, needless to say we conceived (same too with the little bump in the sky) but they are expensive. Hope you feel better.

GuffSmuggler · 02/06/2013 09:48

Hi all,

Welcome to the new people and welcome back ickle, hope you get all better soon.

saggy sorry to hear you're having a bad weekend Sad hope things are a bit better today.

I've got a rotten cold and my voice has gone but am still on AF so have got a few days to get all better and try and feel sexy again Confused OPKs are in the post but seeing recent updates not sure they are going to be all that useful!
