And I'm still here too! Albeit from a very remote island in Thailand...

Am sure bunny understands you meant it in the nicest possible way.

Bunny - sorry to hear you're down Sad You WILL get there in the end, it's just a shitty time in the meantime...x

BelissimaLol · 16/12/2012 13:51

I'm still here Grin
Feeling knackered after Xmas party but actually enjoyed not getting pissed and am loving not having a hangover. Silver lining and all that!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 16/12/2012 12:36

Oh no I've killed the thread :(
bunny please come back, I mean it in the most constructive way and nothing I wouldn't do myself if I needed to :(
Please ignore my post if the concept is abhorrent to you.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 15/12/2012 22:24

Bunny what I am going to say may sound very insensitive or crass but I assure you I don't mean it that way. (And i would not hesitate to go down this road if i had issues re DTD for whatever reason in the future- I suspect it's not for everyone and most people's DPs if not they themselves would have a problem with it).
If health issues are creating a problem as far as DTD is concerned, is it possible to use the sterile syringe route on a day when DTD is a problem? I don't think it's for everyone though and you may have very strong feelings about it.
Please don't flame me, I mean it only in the spirit of trying to get pregnant (which is the holy grail at this point for me really).

twinklestar2 · 15/12/2012 22:10

hugs bunny. sound like you need it xx

Bunnygirlie · 15/12/2012 21:09

Thank you lovely ladies x

Had another meltdown this morning, tried to DTD but hubbys heart started racing (and not in a good way), not sure if it's coz we are both unfit or if he has a bad ticker Sad
Had a quiet sob in the shower, don't want to cry in front of him anymore as it just makes him feel worse and then i had to get out of the house and go shopping.
So all we managed was day 13 this month, now day 17 so don't see the point in trying anymore even if hubby wants to.

Agree on symptoms being similar to af! Don't give up hope until its over.
Today my DH did the dance exams I had to give up due to being pg. He came home with a bronze AND a silver medal in Latin dancing! I'm so proud!! Just had to share x

captainmoll · 15/12/2012 18:23

Zombies, fx for you
Bunny, massive hugs

BraveLilBear · 15/12/2012 17:53

Nod nod to Rache, Zombies. I had totally written off my bfp thinking it was af. Now I'm 8 weeks tomo :)

Fx you feel better soon Bunny.

oh and yay for exciting scan news Blol and Rache! And what a way to break the news Hazle, so pleased for you :)

I now have proper ms, combined with huge infected hair follicle in unmentionables. In total agony, sobbing with despair every 15 minutes, but still strangely glad to be vomiting. If only I could sit down, I'm sure I'd feel much better.

Happy weekend people x

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 15/12/2012 12:55

Thanks rache stepping away from the pee stick and keeping fx.

Rache1S · 15/12/2012 12:44

Zombies well if AF still isn't here properly then you're still in the game and I have everything crossed for you. The early PG symptoms are so similar to AF it's enough to drive the sanest person mad!

Rache1S · 15/12/2012 12:42

..... well not exactly happy but I hope you know what I mean!

Rache1S · 15/12/2012 12:39

Don't give up Bunny, it is hard but you know it will be worth it.
There's nothing wrong with letting your anger/upset out though and we're always happy to hear it x Xmas Smile

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 15/12/2012 12:39

run a mile not "run a mile after". That makes him sound a lot more athletic Grin

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 15/12/2012 12:38

AF is due in four days but I would have expected some v mild brown by now in the normal course of events.
Thank goodness for MN, I couldn't have had this detailed a discussion with DH well I could have, but he would have run a mile after

Rache1S · 15/12/2012 12:36

Zombies could it be implantation or is AF due now? I think implantation is more likely to be browner rather then red?

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 15/12/2012 12:29

TMI
Looks like AF when I wipe. Ie mildly brown.
SadSad
There goes any secret hope I had. Might as well POAS and be done with it. What's the point.

navis176 · 15/12/2012 11:25

rache - ta for agreeing with the sensible approach to the 2ww - especially at this time of year it is impossible to not drink without people jumping to the wrong (well, right, possibly, fx!) conclusions - I'm sure it can't do any harm that early on anyway - millions of people get upduffed while pissed Xmas Grin

bunny - don't feel silly - I was crying about it all to a couple of friends the other day too - it turns us all into mentallists Xmas Blush

ChristmAquarius1 · 15/12/2012 11:13

Hi bunny don't feel silly for crying in your friend - that's what they're for& it's totally normal. It is so hard ttc - because we can't control it & we beat ourselves about it when it doesn't happen& it seems so unfair. I'm gonna try and put it away over Xmas and enjoy the few days off without thinking too much about it no doubt with the help of plenty of Xmas drinks

Bunnygirlie · 15/12/2012 10:24

I want to give up now, it's too hard

Evening all! Still feeling crappy here which isn't helping DTD week :-( Managed it on CD13 but nothing since, hoping for a weekend CD17 morning shag tomorrow so another month of not holding out much hope Hmm haven't bothered with ov sticks this month either as it puts so much pressure on, hubby can't take the pressure as it is.

Saw my friend tonight who is due on weds, had a good old natter and told her we were TTC, it was nice to tell a friend and chat with her about it, felt like a right twonk though when I started crying and getting all shaky Sad

Lol I asked the Sonographer why my date had changed by 2 days in only 2.5 weeks and she said that now is a more accurate time to measure the CRL than earlier in the trimester. I'm sure it's all guesswork really and given that babies rarely arrive on their due date they are never held to account for getting it wrong!

Aww, that's lovely Hazle. I feel emotional just thinking about your parents' reaction (bloody hormones!)

Navis you are allowed to drink whatever the hell you like on the 2WW because it's already tough enough without denying yourself one of life's pleasures! I took the attitude that it was business as usual until I got the two lines on the stick. The weekend before my BFP I got completely plastered quite merry on the Friday and Saturday nights and then spent most of Sunday hungover and dragging myself between a jacuzzi and a sauna. Not exactly the way I had envisaged getting my pregnancy underway Xmas Blush

captainmoll · 14/12/2012 20:06

Hurray hurrah for good scan news Rache and BLol! GrinGrinGrin
Now Fx for all you dtd/2ww ladies.. Swim, little spermies, swim!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 14/12/2012 18:48

bullseye

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 14/12/2012 18:47

Just realised that even though it's been 3 cycles, it's been more than 4 months trying because of the length of my cycle :(
And also realised that winning this bullsye is all a game of blind man's poker (mixing a metaphor?) given the dates at which your scans are revealing what you thought and what happened re timing. You just keep throwing those darts and maybe sometime you might get lucky.
