Just Shagging Part 10; No science or skill, JS at will!

Hello - have completed a full day in pyjamas! Maybe not a completely full day but enough to justify putting in a bill! The rest of the time this afternoon was mumsnet!

I have no idea about sperm production - this month we have pretty much done EOD, so we'll see. Its been quite odd - we used to have shagfests of several times in the one day, and then quite a few days off - so its been odd to be a bit organised and make sure we do it regularly, rather than just when we used to feel like it. Here's a TMI comment though - he's getting less BJ's because I see that as a waste of sperm but I still get the equivalent lucky me!!!

hooya I've heard that every other day is best in order to a) keep a steady supply of swimmers hanging around up there, and b) make sure they have time to regenerate and are of good quality. No idea how scientifically accurate that actually is though!

Well, ertd arrived this afternoon whilst I was at the gym.....obviously then on my 2 min walk back to the office I walked past no less than FIVE ladies with lovely bumps so someone up there was having a laugh at my expense today.

Jealous, me?!! Yeah.

stuck do you find you can work in your pyjamas? Every time I'm working from home (10pm conference calls and the like) I end up a bit too chilled out in my pjs - once realised I was chairing a call while complaining on facebook about how boring it was - oops!

frying just doing nothing sounds lovely! I did that most of Sat after ridiculous early start for Olympics, and it was bloody brilliant!

On a completely different note, can any of you clever people offer me any advice about, erm, sperm? How long does your average man take to 'brew' a new batch? I am wondering if lots of JSing is just pointless e.g. if we're up for it twice in one day is the second one just a waste and we should really just wait til the next day? This will not be an issue for long, it's just new TTC excitement! I am avoiding googling going mental so thought I would ask your advice instead!

I've just come home from a weekend away. Had a lovely Saturday - cleaning and tidying up our rental flat for some new tenants, then round to a good friend for tea and a play with their lovely 10 month old and then a raucous boozy night out with DP in our old haunts in Bristol. Got a great message next day from friends that I looked 'glowing' and did I have any news for them - unfortunately I think it was more to do with the cold that fully appeared yesterday. So I kind of hope I'm not PG this month as I had a fair bit of alcohol on Saturday and yesterday I took some cold remedies...

So now 'working' from home as I don't want to go into office as I feel rubbish and am using the reasoning that I don't want to infect anyone. This is first time since being freelance I've been ill and I really don't want to take the time off - I'm hoping that I can get some work done in my pyjamas so I can still get paid!

Ooh nicola get you hobnobbing with relatives of the stars . I see your 80s popstar and raise you Matt Bellamy's cousin rents office space from my DH.....anyone else got a (less tenuous!) claim to fame around here?!

Today we went swimming with ds, and it was lovely. later on i fully intend to don my shag cape. This friday i'm going to a here and now concert and perfoming will be Rick Astley, Bananarama, Toyah et al. That's on the friday night, but according to my app (i know, i know) Sat is THE NIGHT! So i'm gonna get me some eod just in case :)

Top, i know it's frustrating. Before i got preg with ds, i only had a 2 day cycle in the December, found out i was pregnant in the Jan. So it can just be a wtf pregnancy. BUT, you and me kid, we're in it together! (not literally, because that'd take some explaining with DH, but you know what i mean) I hereby proclaim that it's Top's turn next month.

Currently engaged in half hourly trips to the loo to check if the old hag HAS properly arrived but as of 30 minutes ago no sign. Does not really explain yesterdays BFN but tomorrow will be the date of my longest cycle EVER (since I have been keeping notes anyway) and still no proper ERTD feelings- WTF?!!!
Cannot even begin to imagine that I may be PG now and have no desire to clutch at straws so WILL NOT be testing or anything until next weekend. In the meantime, its off to the loo again :)

Just popped back to say thanks all and Swimming I was looking at that psalm (139 13-18) this morning and it made me feel quite peaceful, even though I don't know what is in store for the next few months.

My friend is pg with dc4 and is looking blooming, hard not to be a bit at the same time as being pleased for her...especially as we were kind of hoping to be pg at the same time (we are that sad yes!)

Well DH and I have just wept like schoolgirls stood up at our first dance. Surprised by the depth of feeling that this last month has conjured up and in a strange way, we seem even closer afterwards, despite our obvious failings (yet again) in the conception department.

Have spent the afternoon listening to music videos on YouTube and following random links, finally culminating in Katy Perry- seems like time to quit really! :o

I have been TTC for a year now and adopted the method of JS. This month i was 2 days late, then as i was getting ready to POAS, AF arrived. Gutted. turns out that AF only lasted an hour or so then stopped and has not returned after 24h. I have never had this happen and am being a wimp about the whole thing. I dont think that swolen and achey boobs are helping my mood any. Has this ever happend to anyone else? is it just the body playing silly buggers? Is POAS pointless after any bleeding?
