Let's face it May 2012 is full of bank holidays leading up to an extra day off thanks to the Queen. We are all bound to get updiffed and miss the time off -(where we should be in the pub) looking after our new babies.

A bus for those who find it difficult to remember new names. Ting ting - no getting off untilk a BFP.

Starting the stats Bleats (31) TTC#1 af due 31st Aug ish

OP posts:
harmonyb23 · 05/09/2011 20:52

Got a very faint BFP on a test today. Am going to repeat in a couple of days to make sure for definite but both me and my partner can see a very faint line. Grin

Sorry to hear that some have had to go across to the June bus already good luck for next cycle!

Hang on in there all those who haven't been caught by AF... this could be our month! Smile

WaitingforStork · 05/09/2011 19:28

it rolled off the table, and on to the floor, and then my poor meatball rolled right out the door...

Sorry Clandy and Crystal - best of luck next month.

I only have 2 more days to wait and trying really hard not to get my hopes up. I'm like you stork this is the biggest effort we've made so far, and its my deadline month - I decided I'm going to the docs if unsuccessful again!

It's so hard to remain positive and, at the same time, not get hopes up!
Maybe we should have some girl guide, coach trip songs to keep our mind off things. I will set us off with:

on top of spaghetti, all covered in cheese, I lost my poor meat ball when somebody sneezed!!!

Clandy · 05/09/2011 15:35

Hiya af arrived for me so officially off the may bus thanks for the ride tho Grin

WaitingforStork · 05/09/2011 14:28

Sure there's a twix in here somewhere (rummages.....yup found one!) here you go Kitty!

Just know I'm going to drive myself nuts this 2ww, we've put in the biggest effort so far and it better pay off. Far too early for any sort of pregnancy related symptom but I've come over all itchy and spotty today and it's driving me mad! Making me a bit irritable, just keeping my head down in the corner of the office, poor dog got quite a telling off at lunch time for chewing my husbands hat (I know it's naughty and he shouldn't be doing it but I did surprise myself with how loudly I shouted NO at him! (made him drop it though...)).

knittymum · 05/09/2011 13:51

And Byrnsie, thank you for the sympathy. The summer has been rubbish, as we lost my mother in law very unexpectedly in July so I'm hoping for a bfp to make some happy news again. And I'm rubbish at being patient, so the 2ww is killing me!

knittymum · 05/09/2011 13:46

Mmm, thank you for the biscuit, waitingforstork! Any choccie ones left?

Crystal, I'm sorry your wait will be longer.

crystaltea36 · 05/09/2011 10:18

Hi everyone, thanks for being such a nice bus, I'm off to the June one. :-(

WaitingforStork · 05/09/2011 10:16

Thanks for the housekeeping! Now I know how many biscuits I need to pass around the bus (hands out Biscuit as have been hit by tea break munchies and feel I shouldn't be snacking alone).

And hello to Kitty, glad to have you on board!

Summary shows this hasn't been a very successful bus so far, think we need to buck the trend ladies...I hate this waiting around bit.

Byrnsie30 · 05/09/2011 09:34

Re-updated as I know some ladies have gone over to the June transfer bus. Haven't seen some of the names on the below list for a while, but didn't know if they have officially hopped off? x

knittymum · 05/09/2011 09:08

Hi everyone, may I join you? Better late than never! I'm ttc#3 after a late miscarriage in May. Not feeling overly optimistic for this month, as it's only our 1st month of trying since being given the all clear from the obstetrician. However, we did manage (sorry if tmi!) swi every day for 10 days from cd9, so we couldn't have done much more! AF due 13ish September, so I'm now on CD 22.

FX for everyone still waiting this month! Sorry I can't add myself to the list, but I'm on my phone and I'm not sure if I can copy and paste from it!

WaitingforStork · 05/09/2011 08:04

Morning Ladies,

Monday morning again already, where do the weekends go? And it so cold and dark up here today (Scotland, con't think we get summers anymore), on a plus note it meant the dog slept in until 6 as opposed to his usual 5.30. Did mean I was just as reluctant to get up though! Nothing like a walk across the wet misty fields to start the day. Am tucked up in my nice cosy office now though.

Byrnsie, I really have me fingers crossed for you, you've got nerves of steel to hold out til Wednesday. Mind you I've given up early testing too, rather live in ignorant bliss dreaming about what might happen then staring a BFN in the face (one that you won't believe anyway, after all it was too early to test! Waste of money and heartache).

180 Think you're due around same time as me, hopefully we can stop each other going mad. Pretty sure I ovulated day 16 (on 20 now) so the long wait has begun, will try very hard not to listen to every little twing, cramp or achey boob! Mind you I say that every month and still manage to gets my hopes up only to be crushed when she turns up.

How is everyone else on the bus doing, been a bit quiet here over the weekend?

180 · 04/09/2011 19:39

Stay strong Byrnsie, we'll get through this. I'm determined to not go symptom spotting this week so am happily allowing a couple of Wine glasses a night and not worrying about anything at all. What will be will be! Let's just hope it's sooner rather than later!

Byrnsie30 · 04/09/2011 17:40

Hey all,

Well, spotting didn't increase and seems to have gone (from what I can tell! - TMI - I spend way too much time scrutinising underwear and loo roll!)
Not out of the woods yet though, I need to get to at least wednesday before I can allow myself to hope!!

180 I def ov'd at expected time as I have been doin CB digital ov tests. Apparently Implantation bleed can be 8-10 DPO (and I assume that's not an exact science as nothing else with TTC is - so fx I'm within that margin of error!)

stork well done on SWI - you even out-stripped me and I was well determined and commited this month Wink

Part of me thinks I should test early just to put myself out of my misery!! Heeeelllppp!!!! x

WaitingforStork · 03/09/2011 20:50

Not sure how althletic it was, believe me some nights I really just wanted to sleep! However, can't make an omelette without breaking some eggs and all that...

Did begin to run out of ways to instigate though (always seems to fall to me) trying desperately to keep it fun but there's only so much new underwear you can buy! Think poor DH was beginning to feel a bit like a machine, however he is as keen as me to start a family and is just as disappointed every moth AF turns up, he just doesn't realise how much leg work needs to be put in. Put it down to woefully inadequate sex ed in schools.

I'm all in favour of 5 BFPs in a row (sign me up as number 5....) Positive thinking can work wonders (I have tried everything else!)

180 · 03/09/2011 20:02

Golly Stork, am most impressed at your athleticism! (and very jealous Wink).

Byrnsie could you have ov'd a little later than normal this is day 8?

I'm still feeling absolutely shattered but desperate not to get my hopes up at all this month as I was so sure last month. Just goes to show you never can tell!

Fingers crossed for everyone we need another bus like the april one where there were 5 bfp's in a row!

WaitingforStork · 03/09/2011 17:09

Yay! A BFP for the bus, congratulations Floydie!!!

Sorry to all those who've been gotten my AF, it gets a little harder each month doensn't it? I try not to get my hopes up but fail miserably every time.

Byrnsie, really hope spotting is a positive sign for you, have decided it's both of our turns this month, we started our journey at the same time so think it's only fair we get off at the same stop, and we have been very patient (longest bus journey I've ever been on). Buses round us are slow but 8 months is taking the biscuit.

We've certainly put our backs into it this month as it were: days 5,7,8,10,12,13,15,17,18 so if we haven't cracked it it's not for lack of trying! Day 18 just now (average 27 day cycle) so ready to hang up SWI boots and carry on for fun when the mood takes us. No danger or any action tonight as DH has a boys night out but managed this morning so I'm happy.

Spent a lovely long lie this moring discussing names, I really really hope that this is our turn, it would be perfect as we'd get to tell everyone at christmas.

Good luck to everyone else still riding (no pun intended!).

Byrnsie30 · 03/09/2011 16:58

Hey all,

Had extremely light spotting yesterday and today. Really hope AF isn't on her way (not due 'til wednesday)! Confused

It is about 11-12 DPO so hoping against hope that it's implantation, but don't want to get my hopes up. CD 29 today (of a usual 33 day cycle) What is going on with my body?! Anyone else had this and ended up being PG?!

Sorry to those who've fallen off! I'm going to reserve my seat on the other bus - just in case! x

180 · 03/09/2011 11:46

Thanks MyCat... got a feeling I'll be joining you shortly though as am horribly pre AF today..

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 02/09/2011 22:56

Aww, thanks 180 - wishing you every luck this month!

I've loved being on this minibus and I'll miss you all so I've taken the liberty of starting another one for any May dropouts who'd like to join me.

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/1292496-All-aboard-for-the-June-2012-minibus-transfer-service-for-May-minibus-dropouts

Hope none of you need it but if this one isn't your bus I'd be delighted drive you towards a June destination.

180 · 02/09/2011 19:08

Evevning all

Bleats and MyCat sorry to hear you are off the bus.

I've been feeling like I've been hit by a train all day. Been very stressful at work for the last two weeks, so may be that I'm coming down with something. I'm finding it really hard to stay awake but after last month's debacle am desperate not to symptom spot! CD22 for me today so got at least a week to go Sad.

MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes · 02/09/2011 18:49

Ding ding, that's my stop then ladies, AF just turned up.

Been great cruising with you all - hope loads more of you join floydie soon but for those who don't I'll look forward to spending more time with you all on the next bus. Grin

FloydieDoydie · 02/09/2011 15:21

Thanks for all the good wishes ladies Smile Hope you Some of you will be joining me in he club soon!

I was on CD33 Byrnsie, which assuming I was the same as last month was two days before I would have been due.

I told him I'd been out on my motorbike, but that it turned out I'd been carrying a passenger - he looked confused for a moment before he realised what I meant Smile

Just hope my passenger holds on tight! x
