If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

Hello everyone

It is a week since my ERPC (first pregnancy) and I felt like doing something positive this evening, so thought I would join this thread. It seems like a cosy place to be!

My bleeding has more or less stopped now so I guess I am now officially on my WTF cycle - brilliant name by the way. Slightly concerned as I took a pregnancy test this evening (stupid) and it was still faintly positive.... Not quite sure what that means... concerned it means I won't ovulate any time soon.

Anyway, pleased to see some many BFPs on here recently (been lurking for a while), and looking forward to sharing ups and downs with everyone.

Well have fun looking, hope you find something. I'm off to bed, got to be up early for ballet (dd not me)

Hope everyone else is having a nice Friday evening (I just spent it half on here and half getting depressed watching comic relief)

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 22:10

actually laughed out loud @piggy, as currently suffing face with a cream egg!! Yummm!! Grin

Ohh, Pembrokeshire is loooovely. Went the summer before last, mainly camped but was just lovely. Stayed in St Davids.

Well, we're off to Scotland for easter (loch long, about 1hr north of glasgow) in pretty little cottage. We'd planned it during last pg, but never booked, but while mc needed something to look forward to so booked it anyway.

I'm not sure what to do for summer. I'd like to get away but not to far if pg. We did a plan last month when ttcing and we said we'd improve the holiday for each month we were ttcing (i love big long haul holidays to travel) with the money we wouldn't need to save. Just been looking at not so cheap flights to Italy. Wouldn't mind a week in tuscany or in the south. But never been, and have a feeling it might be too expensive.

meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 21:57

Ooohhh, holiday (so glad I check what I type...phone changed ooohhhh to piggy!). We're going to Pembrokeshire because I didn't want to go far from home when 7 months pg :( but also :) because it should still be lovely. Where are you looking at?

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 21:48

its usually quieter on here on a weekend, and there should's plenty of posts left to last until your return. I'll keep a beady eye on things for you.

meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 21:41

Not Lakes, Cotswolds. I'll forgive your poor pregnant brain, you've had a busy few days! Let us know what the digi says x

(I hope that there's a signal there, I'm meant to be closely watching our message total, if theres a sudden busy period and it gets close and I appear to have disappeared someone else feel free to step in)

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 21:35

Grin Grin actually pissing myself at myself!! God i knew you were going to a wedding, but for some reason had it in my head it was in the lakes. Alright, i'm an idiot!

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 21:29

Lakes?! I'm going to a wedding, no where near any lakes as far as I know? Think you are thinking of someone else collie! (seriously, what are you going to be like by 40 weeks?! Grin

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 21:12

Grin mels i so got pg brain in my last pg-cy, and don't think it ever went away Grin

Think you stop the epo at ovulation anyway i started flaxseed after ov. fx for your 2ww. how you feeling tonight? Are you off to the lakes in the morning?

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 21:04

Pg brain kicking in already collie?! I've been eating brazil nuts but can't stand grapefruit juice, I stopped taking epo because I'm sure it was aggravating my cervical erosion, it might still have had an effect though, I took it for a few weeks. No cough syrup either, dont like the idea of taking drugs I dont actually need.

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 20:45

Yes mels cep waiting for morning for the digi text. fx!!!

Mels i think the SMEP has shown good results for a lot of people who did it. Quite a few who who moved on to the common room have had a bfp. I've been rattling with suppliments for a month too, drinking grapefuit and pom juice and eating brazil nuts. God knows if any of it makes any difference mind! I hope your 2ww goes quickly, try and relax now and there's little symptom spotting in the first week at least! x

Yay for banana my fain lines are slightly stringer too!!!

collie are you going to use one tomorrow??

banana yay for the confirmation line. Grin

banana87 · 18/03/2011 19:29

Hi ladies,

cep Sorry you are having a bad day. Hope tomorrow is brighter.

Congrats Collie (again!), and harrassed.

Hope you are ok LILI and oli.

Another faint line this morning, this time within the time frame. My best friend (who lives with us) did confirm I am not seeing things :) Still don't think its official yet. Am very very tired though, took a 2 hour nap and ready for bed!

meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 19:23

Are you waiting until the morning to use the digis collie? we kind of followed smep, altho we started a day early and wont manage tomorrow night (I just cant bring myself to dtd in my parents house, my mum will be the one making the bed, ewwww!) The conceive plus claims have been tested, results in 2 (long) weeks!

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 18:50

mels did you get plenty of swi in? I hope the preconcive (I can only remember your made up name for it) helpped!!! Your afternoon sounds lovely, and that pram (or a better updated version Smile ) will be yours one day soon!!

cep nan is ok thanks, although not been to visit since weds. She has emphazemia so is constantly on oxygen, so it's less the fall and more the impact it's had on her breathing they're concerned about. But she's improving. Will be seeing her again tomorrow.

Grin at your ds and the naughty stair!

Have bought 2 cb digis after izzy's bfp. Although on relooking. At FR sticks am wondering how faint my lines are.

meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 17:13

I'm feeling a bit better thanks chloe. Had a nice afternoon, we walked to the hospital to meet dh after physio and we all went to the park. Saw a family with the pram I wanted tho :( .

I guess my high cervix didn't mean anything, my opk was negative today so that's our chances used up for this month so I'm on the 2ww, please help me through it, get your fish ready!

Chloe55 · 18/03/2011 15:54

Just popping in to see how melie is doing? Do you need another Wine?
