If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

Mouse thinking of you - though know you will be back in by now. Do hope you keep being persistant and get the treatment you need and want. ((big hugs)) XX

milkyway welcome to this thread and hello again. I was so sorry to hear your story, Sad and want to thank you again for the advice you gave to me after my m/c earlier this year Smile. Really hope we can give you some support here, xx

Just to add (sorry to bore everyone else again) we'd been TTC for over 3 years before I got a BFP, and I've put off so many things in case I was pregnant, so now I don't say no to anything bcs I'm convinced we'll find a way to make it work if FX the thing we most want does happen. HTH?

banana FX for all your symptoms!

it's tough keeping up isn't it!! I'm struggling too.

Mel Just remember it is WTF, your first cycle can be super heavy MC. Friend of mine had to nip out from work to buy new trousers bcs it had leaked so much. So pleased for you that your body is settling down.

chloe the drinking thing is tough isn't it? Can you use the driving card? Early start in the morning? Sometimes it's easier just to abstain and ignore the questions? Hope you have a nice evening tho.

Cep,ohkeeperofthelist hope all ok with you and that you are having a lovely wknd

Shorty hope you are getting some TLC and begin to feel better soon.

Hello to collie, olis, hope you manage to chill over the next two weeks! We have fish at the ready ladies!

Waves to ninu, lili, lily, wellie, brooke hadrian laylas and everyone else I missed, hope you all have lovely weekends

Chloe55 · 05/03/2011 09:40

shorty My first was a natural at 5 weeks and my AF came back straight away, took about 6 weeks after my D&C.

cep · 05/03/2011 09:19

i had a natural and it took 5 weeks for my af to return. Rest this weekend and keep warm.

shorty100 · 05/03/2011 09:06

Morning ladies hope everyone is o.k, i'm still really suffering with my chest infection, at least its giving me something else to focus on for a while though. Melie i'm glad that your body is getting back to normal as painful as it may be.

Thinking of you mouse hope today goes better than yesterday.

Welcome milky, everyone is lovely here and has made me feel very welcome. Has anyone had a d & c and a natural mc? Just wondering because when I had my d&c my cycle returned straight away and this time was a natural mc and still waiting, has anyone found the natural mc to take longer for cycle to return? X

cep · 05/03/2011 09:03

xpost ninu morning, you didn't say anything about you hope you're ok.

mel no worries, glad your body is getting back to normal so quickly.

morning all, wow i missed a lot last night.

welcome milky so sorry for your losses. again i haven't read your thread yet but will go look for it.

mouse so sorry you're being messed around, i hope the night went as well as could be and is ok for you today for your d&c

banana fx it's a sign for you. (i won't put sussies on it's a ghastly sight but i will shake some pompoms.)

chloe fx is a sign for you as well. i would have a few, make then last a while and have a glass or water next to it, so 1 sip wine, 1 sip water. i don't think at this stage it'll damage a bean caus e they're not taking anything from us yet. Think of all the women who go out drinking before even realise they're pg. infact two nights before i found i was pg with ds i got really drunk at my parents house and ds is fine.

iggly some find that relaxing about temping etc helps. good luck, and have fun Wink i'm ok thankyou, no more blood this morning so yay.

collie how hot did you have the bath in the end?

so sorry if i missed anyone. hope you're all ok.

meliesmummy · 05/03/2011 08:53

Okay...here I come to mess up the stats again...(tmi alert!)

Just as I was about to finish work I started bleeding, fresh, clots, lots of it! Got myself in a panic, thinking what's going on? Is there more mc stuff to come out? Plus I really wasn't prepared for that (as in no sanitary towels, just a tiny pantyliner). Phone dh, what do I do? I know the out of hours gp will be as useful as a chocolate teapot! So I phoned the ward that treated me. She suggests it's af, I'm thinking what?! It's only been 3 weeks!!!! Anyway, as it's fresh I guess it must be! 3 weeks is normal apparently! To say I'm surprised tho is an understatement! They don't call it the WTF cycle for nothing! I'm glad my body seems in a hurry to sort itself out.

So sorry cep I'm cd 1!

Ninunina · 05/03/2011 08:50

Err...I meant the clots haven't been to painful. On my phone so predictor text finishes off my words.

Ninunina · 05/03/2011 08:46

Thanks for the new thread collie
#13 turned out to be a lucky one, and I'm sure #14 will be too with all this POAS action already.

Chloe I just had a company event with open bar all night last night and come dine with me the night before- both very boozy, but I found if you have a full glass in front of you, no one really notices. As long as you don't openly say 'i'm not drinking'.

Oli don't feel bad about all the symptom spotting and the insane POAS action. I think it's normal to want something so much after what we lost, but let's try to prepare ourselves in case we're wrong. RE: your question earlier, I've been temping, using OPKs & ff. I always get ovulation pain so that is my biggest indicator.

Mouse thinking of you again today. So frustrating to hear it was pushed back. Hope the cloths haven't been too painful.

Welcome milky

cep hope there was no more blood today.

Waves to blackkat lili lily and everyone else.

Chloe55 · 05/03/2011 08:04

Thanks for the new thread collie Hope it brings you lots of luck Smile

Welcome milky haven't read your other thread but I will search for it after this. Sorry about your recurrent MCs but hopefully MN will bring you some support.

Olis I bet you lurk Wink If not then see you Monday! Grin

Mouse I am so sorry you have been messed about so much. I hope it goes ok for you today and you can get home and rest.

Iggly I know what you mean about taking things in your stride this month (I am so not this month Grin) but once I come off the Clomid I will as that's how ds was finally conceived, when I had given up all hope of it ever happening and forgetting about it!

Waves to everyone else!

Shot out of bed this morning bacuse I thought I had come on - could def feel that sensation of releasing fluid (sorry if tmi)but when I got to the toilet there was nothing there, literally nothing Hmm I actually took myself off to bed at 8.30pm because I was so tired and had mild period pains too. Still a week away from actually being able to test with a reliable stick as still only CD24.

My other issue is it is the first night of a Come Dine With Me game which i am involved in. Obviously the wine will be flowing, there will even probably be shots involved knowing our friends and I am not sure whether to fully abstain from drinking or have a few and avoid the shots and also avoid the 'hush hush she must be pregnant' giggles as they all know we are TTC. What do you reckon?

Iggly · 05/03/2011 07:15

wow you ladies can talk! Grin I cant keep up and now there's a new thread! I spend most of time lurking, then by the time I get around to posting it's moved again Grin

hi milky I'll go and check out your thread. Sorry you've found yourself here :(

fingers crossed melie and collie on the symptom spotting! mellie when I was on my WTF cycle I had about a ton of EWCM so probably ovulated but didn't DTD as was not fully recovered. So i hope you get plenty Wink

cep how are you?

mouse sorry to hear about the D&C - make sure you look after yourself and line up plenty of chocolate and wine and indulge yourself for a bit.

This month I've decided to not check my CD, not to temp, not to use OPKs and only to check CM. Last couple of cycles I put pressure on myself to DTD at the "right" time and got very stressed. I honestly don't think I ovulated anyway. Ho Hum!

Also DS is waking up at night with molar problems so very tired so will be going easy on myself (and DH!)

meliesmummy · 05/03/2011 00:29

Hi milkyway, welcome to the madness! I've just read your other thread, sorry I can't help much except to say that I want to do my health visiting course (year long full time course) which I've put off to have another baby, I have to admit that after my mc I thought, shall I put off the baby thing and just do that? (my dd starts school in sept) but then I thought about it and realised that if I put off the baby now I might never go back to it, and I want that more. How does your oh feel?

mouse what an awful time you're having, hope things go better tomorrow xxx

collie I'll be joining you prob in the symptom spotting so keep some fish for me! (and I'm on the WTF cycle so I've got no excuse at all, I prob won't even ov this month fgs!)

milkyway2007 · 05/03/2011 00:13

Thank You collie2 your post was very helpful, and thank you for welcoming me here x

Collie2 · 04/03/2011 23:32

milky welcome. So sorry for your losses and that you find yourself on this thread and back on the conception board. I've posted on your thread. Not sure if it will help you at all but thought I'd share my experience x

Collie2 · 04/03/2011 23:11

mouse I'm really sorry about your day it sounds just awful. How bloody frustrating. Really sorry you're passing clots and I hope it holds off until tomorrow so you can get through your D&C. You must be so frustrated. Hope your getting lots of tlc tonight. (((hugs))

Will check in again tomorrow to see how you go on x

Thanks ladies, I'll pop back in tomorrow and fill you in xxx

Fingers crossed banana xxx

milkyway2007 · 04/03/2011 22:50

Hi everyone, I had my last mc last month. I have had 4 in total. I am not sure about TTC yet, but have just posted a thread here called "confused, please help" - I don't really know what to do. Any advice will be appreciated.

banana87 · 04/03/2011 22:48

Oh no Mouse :( Hope you don't pass too much tonight and are seen to first thing in the am.

Still EWCM on wiping here Confused although I attempted to check my cervix earlier (I had NO idea what I was doing) and CM was creamy...so NO idea what to think! In other news, I have gone off sweet stuff which is a classic pregnancy sign for me, though I am sure that is just in my head Hmm

Blackkat · 04/03/2011 22:43

Oh mouse, just checked in hoping for news, but not this news Sad how frustrating and tiring for you. Hope you're not in too much pain and that you are finally seen tomorrow. Sending you lots of love and hugs x

mousebacon · 04/03/2011 22:41

Hello ladies, I'm only on 'night release' I spent 10 hours in hospital today, surgical stockings, pessaries in, nil by mouth etc only to be told they'd rather someone more senior did the op tomorrow so I have to go back in the morning.

The senior registrar actually came to me half way through the morning to ask if I'd consider medical management and I said no (knowing my luck it'd fail) but that's basically what I've had and I've now started passing clots. Aaaggh!!

cep · 04/03/2011 21:46

oh good i was starting to worry i had been too mean. Smile i'm off to sleep. have a fantastic relaxing and fun weekend.

mel hope work goes ok.

Collie2 · 04/03/2011 21:38

No cep I'll still be on here, I like catching up. But going to try and forget about what might or might not be going on.

yes, melies DO remind me of what I'm saying now in a week as if I was a betting woman I wouldn't bet on me Grin you also have full permission to fish slap me at any sign of me symptom spotting b4 AF is due!!

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 04/03/2011 21:24

What's this?! I go to work for a few hours and you start a new thread?! I know I got my dates confused but sheesh! :o

We'll remind that you said that this time next week collie! Enjoy your bath x

cep · 04/03/2011 21:23

i think that'll be a great idea. i think you should relax and have a fantastic time at your friends, it is definately what you need. are you going to stay off here or just not symptom spot?

Collie2 · 04/03/2011 21:16

I know, I think I might have to give up on the temps now as we're off to stay with a friend tomorrow who is having a bit of a house party so I'll be both drinking and no doubt sleep deprived, and then Sunday we'll be sleeping on another footon elsewhere, so definately not the same conditions.

Going to try and 'switch off' now for the 2ww. I'm just glad I know my body is back to normal. I don't think I can handle symptom spotting for the next 2 weeks. (god, what are the chances??)
