If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

cep · 07/03/2011 09:28

shorty found this, here it says on here about possibly taking up to 6-7 weeks if you've had a natural.

layla good luck.

cep · 07/03/2011 09:19

morning all,

brooke as the others have said as soon as you've stopped bleeding and have had -ve test, if you're ready emotionally there's nothing to stop you.

chloe i don't want to get your hopes up, but i had funny stomach cramps for most of the 2 weeks before bfp, (remember me talking about the epo not taking passed ov and worrying about it?) i also had a few loose stools, and started coming down with a cold (which i still have the blasted cough) which the main coldy symptoms didn't last long but as i said the cough is still around. i hope it is a sign and not just illness. good luck for your appt. (oh and 9dpo is still early)

mel why is it that men seem to hate anything that would actually help us in these circumstances. my dh was the same, until i told him it didn't tell me when we needed to do dtd but when the time had passed and when he could rest. Grin he still hated it when i bought anything though (opk and hpt).

collie hope you had a good time in London.

hope everyone else is ok.

laylasmummy09 · 07/03/2011 09:15

morning all Smile thanx for your advice, think im just gonna give up waiting and DTD or buy some opks and see whats happening like melies my oh probrerbly wont agree on being so methodical so ill maybe just do it in secret Wink hope you feel better soon chloe have a good day everyone x

shorty100 · 07/03/2011 09:14

Morning ladies, hope everyone is well. Did another test this morning and bfn again. Rang epu this morning and they don't want to know, was just told I shouldn't be ringing as i'm not pregnant. Not sure what to do now other than wait. Iggly my cycles afford mc were very regular between 30-32 days.

meliesmummy · 07/03/2011 08:23

Get well soon Chloe, could it be left overs from a hangover? Wierd about your dream! Hope it goes well with consultant x

I'm off to tescos to stock up on opks, more to know what's going on than anything else. When I mentioned to dh that I was thinking of charting my temps he gave me a LOOK so I'm not going to do it. I tried to explain that it's more to do with wanting to know what on earth by body is doing but he hates the idea of being that methodical, I can only just about get away with opks!

Chloe55 · 07/03/2011 08:05

Oooh talking dreams, gotta share - Woke up to a text from an aunty this am who is abroad and her dp has just proposed. The weird thing was, this aunty was popping up all over in my dream just before the text! Shock I am close to her but she is not someone I can ever remember dreaming about, so so weird, I was a bit freaked when I got the text!

olismum23 · 07/03/2011 08:02

sorry x post chloe hope your not coming down with something FX :)

olismum23 · 07/03/2011 07:58

Lol lili well i woke up at half five after having a vivid nightmare not a good start to the day :(

Chloe55 · 07/03/2011 07:48

Brook You should be fine to start trying again if you and your dp feel ready.

Ok, so have POAS (surprise surprise Grin Its -ve. But, had no more bleeding since my last post, was crampy in bed last night, have had loose stools the past couple of days (very unlike me). Have woken up with a sore throat and feeling very sick so am now confused as to whether I am coming down with something or it's MS? Hmm My points on FF are showing 39 - is this high for 9dpo does anyone know?

We are seeing the consultant again this aft, I guess to discuss our other options if this first 3 months of Clomid is unsuccessful.

LILI80 · 07/03/2011 07:01

My name is lili and I too am addicted to POAS in fact purchased 25 early detection ones for £4.48 from Amazon yesterday Grin

olis I'm supposed to be waiting until the 13th to test but guess what I'll be doing on wednesday when my sticks arrive Grin

Got to dash as off to work!! Hope you all have a lovely day Grin

olismum23 · 06/03/2011 23:02

I have started trying i started as soon as the bleeding stopped and i got a negative, as long as your emotionally ready i dont think there is an issue personally brooke but do whats best for you and your OH, good luck :)

brooke89 · 06/03/2011 21:45

ladies can i ask for a bit of advice...i started bleeding on monday levels were 265, scan on wednesday where miscarriage was confirmed and levels were 87 no bleeding now and just did a POAS and it was negative (all that talk of POAS gave me the urge lol) is it safe to start trying again??

xx

cep · 06/03/2011 21:16

good evening everyone.

i have to admit poas has slowed down since bfp (yes i said slowed down not stopped Grin) i have 1 more which i will do next thursday to make sure wks have increased.

chloe i hope not hon. fx for you.

ninu i don't think ppl can get morning sickness before implantaion either, fx for you.

oli you can stay strong hon.

hi to everyone else.

meliesmummy · 06/03/2011 21:14

That is interesting about lots of ewcm and not ovulating, I had loads last week and then af got me, I can't possibly have had time to ovulate this cycle! (only 7 days between end of bleeding and af).

:( Chloe, hope she doesn't get you too...

And all of you, STEP AWAY FROM THE STICKS! (can you all remind me I said that in about 3 weeks time and send me lots of fish...)

Ninunina · 06/03/2011 21:06

P.S slightly worried about my nausea feeling- do you think it could be left over hormones from MC that are causing it. It feels exactly like MS, but i've been feeling if since 2 days after ovulation- and as far as I know, ppl don't get morning sickness before implantation.

Iggly · 06/03/2011 20:57

Another poas addict here too. Last month I used up 25 cheapies, 2 boots own brand and 2 first response tests Blush all BFNs Grin

This month I have bought none. Only cd11 so I'll probably crack soon.

Interesting banana about the extended ewcm meaning anovulatory. I had loads in my WTF cycle and was very confused.

chloe I hope it's not AF :(

shorty hope your body gets back to normal soon. What were your cycles like pre MC?

Enjoy yourself hadrian Grin

Early night for me tonight. DS has been up with his teeth (molars) so I'm very tired. Trying to conserve energy for SWI!!

Ninunina · 06/03/2011 20:47

My name is Nina and I'm also addicted to POAS or as my DH refers to as PIAG- peeing in a goblet (French for plastic cup)

I'm going to try and hold off till Wednesday or Thursday before POAS again (will be 11 PO then).

I'm also addicted to EPSS (early pregnancy symptom spotting).

List so far:

  • Slight but almost constant feeling of nausea (for a few days now, last time I felt the same a few days before BFP)
  • Gone off wine (a first for me)
  • Slightly tingly nipples
olismum23 · 06/03/2011 20:37

:( fingers crossed chloe I am glad i am not the only addict.

mumtum i know what you mean about going bankrupt that is why I a only going to test on the 13th, I am only going to test on the 13th, I am only going to test on the 13th.........

banana87 · 06/03/2011 20:35

layla I read on FF last night that high means you are fertile. No idea if thats much help to you or not.

Chloe did you test??

I am WTF now. Still EWCM, although its (tmi) more jelly like than egg white, although still stretchy. Boobs are just started their tenderness now though. I googled it and it said annovulatory cycle if you have prolonged EWCM :( Also my temp (although I am taking it in the day with an ear thermometer) is 98.4 when it is usually 98.7-99.4 after ov. Not sure how much attention I should pay to that though.

Blackkat · 06/03/2011 20:32

Xpost, Chloe hope not,

Blackkat · 06/03/2011 20:31

Evening ladies, sorry for quick post - long wknd and need an early night [boring emoticon]

MumTum PMSL at PIAPAD!

Hadrian get busy!

chloe FX, does sound promising, hope ur head is better now!

olis, I think the mantra is take one day at a time.... not to POAS, we are ready to fish slap you!

Shorty good thing to ring EPU, ceps right about 9 weeks I think it was YRMOTB

mouse how are you love?

brooke89 · 06/03/2011 20:31

Olismum23 and mumtumwanted i think im gonna have to join you on the POAS addiction...i bought 50 today Blush

hello everyone :) hope you've all had a good weekend

xx

Chloe55 · 06/03/2011 20:28

My name is Chloe55 and I too am a POASaholic. I fear AF may be rearing her ugly head early as am still having cramps and had more blood when wiping earlier, convinced it is AF Sad
