If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

cep · 07/03/2011 20:54

evening all.

collie glad you had a good weekend, the thing with ff is that it's a tool, it's only as good as the info put in, if your temps are dodgy due to bad nights sleep etc, then can make result dodgy.

oli have fun, i havn't been properly camping in years.

layla not a problem, you have fun as well Wink as far as i know once surge is done it would be negative. (but do not take my word for it, i have a hate hate relationship with opks.)

brooke and you Wink ok am i the only one not having fun anymore. Grin

right am off to watch one born every minute, and bed i am knackered. hope everyone is ok, and feeling a bit better.

layla did the line come up straight away? ie in 10 mins? How faint is it?you can sometimes have lh hormones throughout cycle so you can get a faint line even without ov. If it's quite strong but fainter than the test line it could be that your ov is on it's way.... Or that it was yesterday. I tested thurs and had medium strength line which turned strong fri and weak again sat.

Swi for the next couple of days just in case

good luck olis and chloe and thanks everyone for the snacks, just wanted to ask you for some advice igot a faint positive opk today but had no instructions so im not sure how reliable it is as im in WTF cycle and would it be positive if i already ovulated? i will dtd just incase much to oh's delight so can i be moved to the ttc list please cep? thanks Smile

olismum23 · 07/03/2011 20:23

Thanks all im away to pack good luck to all when i am gone I think there is going to be lots of BFP'S this thread!! I am going to get some tests more tests but with camping it might not make it "everything" IYNWIM Grin

shorty100 · 07/03/2011 20:14

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think I am going to start soon got bad stomach cramps and back pain now. Though have been feeling really sicky today so who knows. Hope you have a lovely time camping oli, hope it takes your mind off things for a while. X

brooke89 · 07/03/2011 19:40

Thanks chloe, cep and mumtum for the advice...i have no idea when il be ovulating so just going to pack in lots of SWI and keep our FX!
Ive also stocked up on ovulation kits off ebay!

hope you've all had a good weekend :)

Collie2 · 07/03/2011 19:27

Sorry everyone for the humongous post....catching up after the weekend.

Chloe your link to your chart on FF did not work (neither of them) do you want to try again? What are the ff points you mentioned? Think you said you had 39?

cep how are you lovely? NO more bleeding I hope and having a completely boring and uneventful time of it I hope? Smile

Glad you had nice night on Friday chloe a bit of bubbly and sing star sounds fab. And how did you apt with the consultant go?

Melies how is the bleeding? Have a look on ebay or amazon for some cheapie ovulation tests, much cheaper than supermarket.

hadrian yay to your +ive opk, hope you?ve been getting lots of swi in over the weekend.

Shorty as everyone else has already said to reassure you, I think it can take a while for your body to get back to normal. I think as you are testing negative it shouldn?t be anything to worry about. Sorry your gp was a bit sh*t though, I can?t believe s/he though ?I don?t know about that? was a reasonable response. EPU clearly no help either. I would say if in another 2 weeks you still have no AF or bfn you need to go back, but for now, sit tight ? I know its easy to say and how frustrating it is though x

Grin at Oils who didn't make it to Monday!! I hope you are still being strong and not poas. Enjoy camping. I love camping but not this time of year in Scotland, you?re a braver women than me Smile where are you in Scotland. We?ve booked a cottage on loch long (near helensburgh) for easter. Can?t wait, so in need of a break. Smile

how?s the painting going? Hope all at home is ok xx

Ninu how is the symptom spotting going ? can?t believe you have gone off wine Sad

Banana I thought your post about prolonged ewcm being associated to not ovulating ? like Iggly I had LOTS in my wtf for over a week. I also had a feeling I didn?t ovulate so what you said makes me think that even more.

Mumtum sorry about your bfn, maybe my link didn?t help. Its ridiculous though, every possible feeling must be listed on there!! Are you in your first proper cycle or your wtf?

mouse how are you today? Glad the eprc went ok.

Hiding Sad about your bfn

I?m ok. Tired after a long (but fun) weekend. Didn?t temp on Sunday as didn?t get to bed (and I use this term very loosely as what I actually mean is the sofa which I had to share ) until 4 so would have been useless. Temped this morning, temp dropped Sad so ff still hasn?t identified my ovulation date. Having said that I did have disturbed sleep again and slept on a futon and it was very cold! I am working on the basis that my ewcm and opk are reliable and ff is not Grin ? in which case I am 3 dpo.

Right, better go and make dinner.

Good evening ladies!

Looks like we really need those cookies and choccy to cheer us up.

Oli & Chloe I'm feeling pretty similar to you. Not feeling so confident about this month anymore. I realised that its too soon to test, so haven't done so again, but I'm annoyed at myself for attributing my sickie feeling to MS. I just don't understand why I feel like this when it's way too early (and I'm sure it's not in my head).

Enjoy camping Oli

I had a dip in temp today too. I know it could be an implantation dip, but somehow doubt it.

Blackkat · 07/03/2011 18:39

Quick post, sorry, stuff going on at home.

mouse really lurking for news from you - I hope you are making a good recovery and not at work? xx

meliesmummy · 07/03/2011 15:53

Sorry you are all having bad days :( I'll put out some virtual versions of the nigella cookies I made with dd yesterday, enjoy!

oli you are braver than me! I refuse to go camping before Easter, and we take electricity! Enjoy, where are you going?

I bought 14 opks, added to the 2 I had left over from December I should have enough to last the month! I seem to have stopped bleeding, if it was af it's my shortest ever, i think the next one will be a killer to make up for it! My dh is usually really scientific over everything (he's an engineer) except this, he doesn't really get my anxiety, he just assumes it'll happen when it does.

Anyway, I'm off to play with dd before I need to get ready for work, I'd like to add that I'm not only addicted to poas I'm also addicted to mn!

cep · 07/03/2011 15:16

oli enjoy camping. Where abouts are you going??

mumtum see what happens over the next few days. sometimes the hormone levels can take a little while to build up, that's why they say it's best not to test until af due. infact that could stand for oli and chloe Grin

MumTumWanted · 07/03/2011 14:20

Brook You should be fine to start trying again if you and your dp feel ready.

chloe 9 DPO is very early still so dont give up hope

oils you are very brave i cant cope without my hair straightners...

collie after looking at your links ive now got more sympotoms than even i knew ( but still got bfn when poas this morning Sad )

shorty im so sorry your epu was so insensitive is there anyone you can complain too ?

and cep Glad you have had no further bleeds x

and all you other ladies too, my OH is very against poas and temping charting etc he says we've only tried once and fell 1st time ( though ended in mc) so trying for the 2nd time now and only in cycle 1 so no need to panic yet, he wants the fun side of things first i think... he doesnt seem to understand the female mentally ( or mine at least) that if your going to get something done you may as well do it with the best informed choices possible. ..... (not only that but we ladies are so busy multi tasking that we may aswell conserve energy for SWI that will not only be pleasurable but fruitful too Wink Grin !!)

as for me.... BFN again this morning really must stop this addiction... i guess the very feint line --that was not even there- of yesterdays pee stick was just a figment of my imagination as there was defintely nothing this morning... as for symptoms ive had all sorts of unusual aches and cramps in lower tummy and a chronic back ache, i also woke last night very hot and unable to cool down and feeling very nasueous (but no odd dreams as some of you have had !!Wink )on the other hand...no sore chest and no +ive on the stick Sad........ though usually i do get headaches in run up to af and havent had one yet and due tomorrow so would have thought by now..... oh please someone pass that haddock !!!!

Iggly · 07/03/2011 13:41

Enjoy camping oli! the weather is lovely today so hope it holds. Fingers crossed for you and chloe that you get BFPs.

I went to playgroup this morning and got a bit upset as bumped into a mum who'd had number 2 with her (few weeks old) and the age gap was the same as what mine would have been with DS. Seeing the little scrunchie newborn just made me feel :( texted DH and he was nice and sympathetic which made me feel a teeny bit better.

olismum23 · 07/03/2011 13:10

Well ladies that is me taking drastic action away camping tomorrow no electricity till Sunday :) I will also (hopefully) stop me from POAS quite so much lol :)

Collie2 · 07/03/2011 11:40

Hi everyone. Just on way home and on phone so will do a proper catch up on laptop later. I have been lurking over the weekend just not had chance to post.

chloe just wanted to post and reply. I was thinking of you this morning and googled early morning pg signs (honestly not for me Hmm ) anyway, cramping and spotting can all be +ive signs as you know. As can your mood, think it can bring the range monster out of all of us. How is your cervical mucus? I think cm can also be a sign? The implantation dip I mentioned can cone about 8 or 9 dpo, but like cep said, not everyone gets it. I really wouldn't be disheartend too much about you -ive tests yet. I took my 1st pg (b4 mc) about 10 dpo and got a -ive. I didn't test again till about 2 1/2 weeks post ov so don't know when it would have changed, but I think you have plenty of time to still get you bfp. I'm clearly not doing a very good job of helping you manage your expectations it in case it's a bfn.... But I have a REALLY good feeling about this for you! Grin

for all you fellow addict symptom spoters have a look at this if you can't find a symptom on here that you're experiencing I'll eat my hat!! Grin.

this one might actually be more helpful! Grin

OP posts:
cep · 07/03/2011 11:28

ladies i'm sorry you're both feeling so low today. i can't really say anything except what i said before it is really early. I can't be a hypocrite and tell you not to test for a while, you all know i couldn't. But i am keeping everything crossed for you both.

olismum23 · 07/03/2011 11:07

Well thats something chloe overwhelmingly sad today its really badly got to me :(

Chloe55 · 07/03/2011 10:43

Yes olismum my dh is the same too, it isn't really helping!!! Grin I feel slightly more at ease having googled a little more - apparantly it takes between 2-4 days after implantation has ceased to get a +ve on a sensitive test so there is still time

olismum23 · 07/03/2011 10:39

Chloe hunny i am the same as you I am really down BFN this morning on 15muil sensitive tests boobs have been very sensitive for a while and my insides are swollen DH is convinced I am does not help :(

Chloe55 · 07/03/2011 10:24

Thanks ladies. Having a real wobble here, have been getting my hopes up and I know 9dpo is early to test but if I have been spotting for the past couple of days then surely if I was pg then my HCG levels would be on the rise now. Have also checked the accuracy of my One Step tests and they appear to detect levels between 10-25ml which is pretty low so I would have thought it would show a positive by now Confused This is the worst month for me so far I think in needing to know, it's probably because I seem to be showing symptoms but am now worried it's all in my head??? Arrggh I want to fast forward at least a week so I know either way, the suspense is sending me crazy Sad

shorty The EPU sound like they were being pretty insensitive Angry
