I'm so glad to hear that your colleagues have been taking care of you. I find that the thought of going back to work can be hard, but actually turns out to be good therapy.

I'm planning to move back to Malta later in the year. I have friends here, but I can't imagine raising a family away from my family and friends. DH has never lived in Malta, but is excited about trying it out. We bought a house there and are now really eager to live in it.

My gp is insiting on an early scan since I didn't get a period after my mc. Apparently my local hospital gets full really quickly, and he can't book me in until I have date. I'm not complaining.

Collie2 · 23/03/2011 22:31

Aww that's lovely so glad they are pleased. Will you raise you dc in Malta do are your friends here?

I hope these are sticky ones too! How come you have such an early dating scan?

I'm ok. It's been a really sad week but i've been back to work today, and as much as I didn't want to be there, having lovely kind colleagues around helpped. They're taking me for a lovely coffee (decaf) abd cake at pizza express tomorrow lunch! Smile

Hi collie, How are you feeling hun? I've got cramps too...sometimes can be quite sharp. Malta was fabulous! My family were so excited! I also told my best friend and another friend who's just had a little girl, and was hoping we'd be able to bring up our kids together.

I also wanted to tell one of my other friends, but I didn't feel the timing was right. She's been having a hard time ttc (V bad PCOS), and I didn't want her to think I got pg at the drop of a hat since I don't think shes expecting me to get pg so soon after a mc (doctors in Malta generally say to wait 3 months before ttc).

I really hope this bean sticks. I did a couple of digi tests and pg hormones seem to be rising well. Yesterday's one showed 3+ weeks, so I won't be able to do anymore for reassurance. Going to EPU for a dating scan on Saturday- so Fx that all will be ok.

Collie2 · 23/03/2011 22:07

how was Malta Hun? Did you tell the family? We're they thrilled or did you get a lecture? Lol

so busy on t'other thread I missed you x

Mellie I didn't get an implantation bleed this time round, but I got some pinkish cm at 10 dpo last time, and then go a BFP three days later.

This time round i got my BFP at what I think was only 10 dpo (and had a hint of line at 9dpo)

Fx that you'll get a BFP!

Collie2 · 23/03/2011 21:55

Not that I am encouraging you! Confused

OP posts:
Collie2 · 23/03/2011 21:54

Not that I want to encourage you but I tested at 7dpo Blush with a FR and it was a bfn. I just left it on the side and forgot about it. I got my first line at 11 dpo. It was only as I was comaring 11 & 12 dpo (OCD I know) that I picked up my 7 dpo test and looked really closely could I see the faintest of lines. dh could see it too though. I think it maybe took a day to come through as my lines tend to be stronger after sitting there for the day. If you think you can handle a bfn on a test I think sat or Sunday wouldn't be too early to test..... If you wanted to xx

OP posts:
Collie2 · 23/03/2011 21:46

Yes that's good timing for implantation bleeding. I hope it is! Smile

I know cramps are ok. Just can't help worry. The sharp pains have stopped now though, which is good. Plan to take my 2nd digi test at the end of the week as it should go up to 2-3 weeks (crapping it in case it doesn't)

Yes both of us (dh) want a scan at 8 weeks. Our baby stopped growing at 9.3weeks but we're away then and I'd prefer one earlier. I know there are no guarantees if the scans is ok all will be fine, but at that stage I think you should be able to see enough, and the strength of the heartbeat might give us some indication of how it's going.

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 23/03/2011 21:44

Well from what I read today if there is an embryo implanting it'll only just have started making hcg so even though my heart says test my head says hold off...I doubt I'll actually last until weds though!

Collie2 · 23/03/2011 21:39

Hoping it's not af, no more blood is good. Holding out till weds.... You've got better will power than me ! Grin

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 23/03/2011 21:38

I think im 7 or 8 dpo collie. so too early for af and about right for implantation but who knows after a mc?! Cramps are normal, please try not to worry. Are you going to pay for a scan?

meliesmummy · 23/03/2011 21:34

Brooke I normally have a faint line for a few days that gets darker until it's positive.

I hope you get some sleep Cep.

Still no blood here, just a few light brown globs. And left sided cramps. I'm optimistic one minute then convinced it's af the next. I hate not knowing! My research says I can test next weds so if no af please hold my hand until then!

Collie2 · 23/03/2011 21:32

(((big squishy hug for harassed )))

Brooke I'd swi tonight just in case. What cycle day are you on and when do you normally ov? The faint line could be a bit of a build up to ov too. I had a faint line then a proper line a day or two after. Good luck.

mels how many dpo are you? Sounds promising. Fx

yrmotb how many dpo are you? Hope the break from temping and stressing works for you !

cep sorry you're so tired. Is ds still having his night terrors?

got a bean bag reserved with your name on it! Grin

I'm not too bad. Apart from cramps but still not feeling v pg. And when I have cramps I'm stressing about them, and when I don't I'm stessing about why they've gone?!! Confused Grin

brooke89 · 23/03/2011 20:55

So sorry to hear that harrassed :( look after yourself :)

melies eeee... fingers and toes crossed for you!

Hope your ok cep and everythings going good!

Ive just got a positive on an ovulation stick! (faintish line) im guessing this is good news after my mc? shall i swi tonight? or does everyone think because the line is only faint ive missed the window?

hellooooo to everyone!

x

cep · 23/03/2011 19:42

Hi ladies, sorry i've not been speaking much last few days, but with ds waking up so early every morning, i'm just absolutely exhausted. i have been lurking though and reading just not much energy to type much.

hihp again i'm sorry hon.

mel i'm keeping everything crosed for you.

chloe hope you're ok

i'm off for a bath and yet another early night. just wish i could get a sleep till my alarm went off rather than ds.

harassedinherpants · 23/03/2011 17:10

mel I've had implantation bleeding once, and it was exactly what you described. I also thought it meant the start of af! Fingers crossed for you x

meliesmummy · 23/03/2011 17:07

Oh harrassed, im so sorry :( , you are welcome here anytime but obviously we wish that you didn't have to be here :(

Ive had no more bleeding so im crossing my fingers for implantation bleed, i wont allow myself to believe it yet though.

Youremindmeofthebabe · 23/03/2011 17:04

Oh harrassedSad. So sorry to hear that x

harassedinherpants · 23/03/2011 16:52

Can I come back? Sad

My bfp was unfortunately short-lived. I had some pink discharge this morning so phoned mw and she said phone if it got worse, and then it did. So was at epu by 10.30.

Scan showed my womb was empty, and no sign of an ectopic, so they took bloods which came back just now as a paltry 6. So I have to poas in a week and let them know, but am sure it'll be a bfn.

I'm a bit shocked at the amount I'm losing, or not tbh!! My first mc, there was loads, but there's next to nothing so far.

I'm ok, because I hadn't allowed myself to get excited, but obviously sad. Dh and I have decided one more go, and then that's it. I'll spoil my beautiful 4yr old dd (well I would anyway), and I have two much older dc's and dh has another dd too. So we have brood, just desperately want more of our own.

Youremindmeofthebabe · 23/03/2011 16:42

chloe I didn't temp this month. I've found it mainly liberating, although a touch irritating as I ov'd 4 days earlier than usualGrin

Hope everyone's well, just waiting it out over here.

cep · 23/03/2011 16:33

afternoon all.

melie my implant bleed was two little drops of blood on wipe, can't remember if i checked cm.

chloe can't blame you for not temping this month it does get rather intense, i always worried about the times i was taking them.

shorty i think the first af after can be worse than normal.

hope everyone is ok, sorry if i've missed anything.

Hi everyone,

Melies - fx crossed that it is implantation bleed and not af coming

Chloe - very jealous that you live by the sea, must be so nice on days like this

I saw the consultant this morning and he said I can start trying again on this bleed (mc bleed), in fact he was almost surprised I was asking, he said why not!! I thought you had to wait a whole cycle but not complaining. I start my clomid tomorrow and scan booked for next saturday and IUI in approx 16 days.

fx crossed for sticky beans everyone

Chloe55 · 23/03/2011 13:00

melie My implantation bleeds were very similar to the start of how my AF used to be, browny pink mucus stuff, only on one wipe though then nothing. Everyone is totally different though. I hope it isn't the start of your AF.

meliesmummy · 23/03/2011 12:15

Chloe can I ask you what your implantation bleeds were like? I'm having pink/pale brown mucous with a few tiny spots of red blood, I'm really worried that it's the start of af and my cycles are completely messed up. Before my mc I used to have 2 days of dark brown stuff before af.

Hi collie, I don't blame you for not feeling like work, you've got so much going on.

Collie2 · 23/03/2011 11:06

chloe think a month off the temping is good. I was even debating not doing it for cycle 2 as it made me obesse worry and it really disturbed my sleeping espec at weekends. Dtd as much as poss is the best plan. One of those little suckers is bound to get through!! Grin

mels day in the sun sounds nice.

I'm at work. Can't be bothered.
