i can see that being the case collie. i work on telephony i have people phoning (sometimes it seems just) to shout and swear at me. i'm so glad i only work p/t idon't think i could o it all day and remain sane.
Where is your dress?

Collie2 · 09/03/2011 15:39

I have work to be going cep but it's all self generating at the moment so sometimes it's hard to motivate myself. I'm generally good at keeping myself motivated, but when you have other things on your mind it's hard. Anyway, enough of my work-moan. I shoukd be grateful I have a job!

Aww melies I want to see my dress!!

OP posts:
cep · 09/03/2011 15:34

hey!!! you can't blame us for dd waking up. Grin wouldn't pictures do???

meliesmummy · 09/03/2011 15:22

Sorry cep.... But like I said I was pg...
I blame all of you for forcing me to go and see my dress, which woke dd up!

cep · 09/03/2011 15:07

mel i can go off people you know Envy Grin

chloe i knew i liked you for a reason. Grin

collie oh how awful. such uncertain times. have you got enough work to keep busy?

Collie2 · 09/03/2011 14:55

thanks cep X No unfortunately jobs are not safe Sad I work for a pct which will be totally abolished in 2013, and in the meantime there role will be dwindling. They (the gov) are putting interim arrangements in place but for now what's going to happen and when is as clear as mud. So for now there a real lack of moral and motivation to start new projects when it could all be wastes effort. Hopefully things will be clearer in the summer. For now I'd just like to have focus at work to keepe busy and a guarantee of a job do I can still have mat leave if I ever get a bfp!

Sorry your sickness is all day. I found there was no real time pattern to mine although it eased around 2-3pm but kicked off again later in the day. It was also much much worse on days when I had a bad nights sleep. Just try and get some rest b4 your party on fri x

I held my corset up to me a few months ago, there is no way on God's Earth that I would ever get back in it Sad

meliesmummy · 09/03/2011 14:51

I think i'd still fit into mine, it's just too fiddly at the back, I was 12 weeks pg at the time tho!

cep · 09/03/2011 14:49

mel i know sounds horrible to wish vomiting for people doesn't it Grin

cep · 09/03/2011 14:49

ok that's 3 of us who have now all said we are too big to get back into our wedding dresses, that's not a good advert for marriage. i remember a picture in one of those jokey marriage books - a fat couple sat in armchairs, in the background a picture of a thin couple on their wedding day, quote "our love has grown over the years"

meliesmummy · 09/03/2011 14:47

I forgot to say it's great that you've been sick cep (what a weird thing to write, you'd never say that in normal conversation would you?!)

Collie glad you're feeling better today, is your job safe?

cep · 09/03/2011 14:46

mumtum it says to wait 18 days because it's the first cycle you've done with them.

collie glad you're a lot calmer today. Don't be annoyed and embarrassed it's perfectly normal to get wound up about these things. is your job safe or are they just moving people round?
i seem to be getting it allday today. keep coughing and then wanting to vomit. Sad i've got a wedding reception to go to on friday eve, am hoping i feel this bad due to lack of sleep.

meliesmummy · 09/03/2011 14:43

Ooohhh, all this chat makes me want to throw open the wardrobe and put my wedding dress on!!!! Altho I can't do it up by myself and I doubt dd would be much help, plus I'd probably cry..,

Chloe TWINS!!!!! that is at least 2 haddocks I think!

Collie2 · 09/03/2011 14:40

cep I'm ok. A bit annoyed and Blush at getting so wound up about things yesterday, when I really have no real reason at this point to be worrying. So for today I've locked those worries in a box. No real post ov symptoms to be spotting. Had tender boobs a couple of days ago and had wave of nausea yesterday morning in car, which Blush I put into ff even through I know it's totally unrelated and was more to do with being too hot!! Smile

I'm working from home today, which is nice as DH still on US hrs so home too. Work is really grim at the moment due to massive nhs restructure so I'm glad to be out of the office. It's a worrying and stressful time so its not much of a refuge from my ttc obsessions.

I sound depressing don't I, sorry. I am really not! Honest!!

cep Sad and Smile about your sickness. Sad you're feeling crap but yay for the symptoms. I think post mc they are v reassuring! X

Chloe55 · 09/03/2011 14:27

You know you loved it cep Wink

I know, reminded me of my husband, I caught him on a couple of occassions wiping away a tear when I walked into a room unexpected. He hardly ever cried in front of me but his best mate has said that he has cried on him Sad I hate to think he thinks I was too fragile to fall to pieces on me and I hate to say that he was probably right.

Collie2 · 09/03/2011 14:26

Grin chloe here it comes!! <

cep · 09/03/2011 14:23

chloe omg did you have to add the bending over bit at the end??? Shock it was nice watching them wasn't it, for the dh to say he'd cry in private cause he wanted to be strong for her. and the other poor woman not being able to have her drugs till late. i am still keeping fx for you.

There seem to be loads of ladies coming up to their testing days. am keeping fx for all of you.

Collie2 · 09/03/2011 14:22

cep you look b-e-a-utiful in that picture! Radiant! I love weddings! Feel like digging my frock out and going the hoovering in it, but it will oy depress me when I can't zip it up!

mumtum sorry about the bfn and blood. Is it def AF? Love love love the dress. Not sure about the heat though, I got married here butit looks quite light weight. Very classy!

LILI sorry about your bfn but I agree 13 dpo is still early. I think test again tomorrow or indeed the next day if you can wait. How many did you get? Oh lord, the money we waste spend on pee sticks !!!

Ok, I also need a good slapping. Have googled the liklihood of having prolonged spotting - one of the conclusions (amongst a million others which aren't pregnancy Hmm) are possibility of twins and my chances are higher than the average by being on Clomid so who knows?? Ok, ok, ok

Chloe55 · 09/03/2011 14:17

This weeks, just wanted to see a success story. They seemed like such a lovely couple too, and the other lady had PCOS so was good to see a positive from both ladies, would have been even better if there was an endometriosis/PCOS/multiple mcs lady on there having a baby Wink

cep · 09/03/2011 13:56

chloe oh hon, which one did you watch??

cep · 09/03/2011 13:55

mumtum just remember that either can effect the other, so if you get a bra/corset which is high can show above the line of a low cut dress. or if you get a strapless dress you'll need strapless bra/corset. also it's a really thin material patterns or slightly off colours may show. (sorry if that sounds patronising.) nothing is ever straight forward. Grin sorry you're now getting spotting. is typical. Sad good news is that my cb digi showed 3+ today though.
