If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

collie no i didn't take it that way so no worries. Grin

skitoo it's a bit mental really. in my last pg i had a little bit of pink at around 6+4 went for a scan on 6+5 saw h/b thought everything ok. had another pink on wipe at approx 11 weeks went for scan and it had died at about 7 weeeks, so i have it in my head i don't want a scan before 7 weeks and although i know i ultimately won't make any difference as to whether it succeeds or not, if i scan before 7 wks i'll still worry for that date. i have gp on 21st who i'll beg for a scan due to this pink and a bit of blood i had about 1-2 weeks ago.

blackkat hope you're ok, and your dad is ok too.

meliesmummy · 13/03/2011 11:55

Hi everyone, just updating the list, I'm day 9 (sure this time!) sorry ninu, glad there's no sign of af!

Glad you had a good night Cep.

That sounds frustrating skit, good luck with your dr. I'm still spotting but much less than yesterday, if it stops today/tonight I might skip the gp, I can't face being sent back to the epu. In the meantime I'll do an opk this afternoon, the line was visible yesterday, so if it's darker today as I'd expect in a normal cycle I'll assume things are as they should be.

Morning all

cep glad ds slept straight through, although 5.30 is v early. Hope he settles down into a better pattern. Didn't mean to dismiss your fears yesterday, hope I didn't. Totally understand that you'd feel this way I know I'll be especially worried at the 9 and 12 wk mark if I get there again. Just try not to, (easy to say) it could be fine. What's the 21st?

LILI noticed your AF is due today? Fx it doesn't arrive

yay to ninu glad you got through your AF dd! Wishing you a very boring 9 months.

chloe you've been quiet. How are yoy? Still no AF?

No new symptoms so to speak of. Had a dull ache in below my pelvic area all yesterday afternoon and night. Not sure if it's around my ovary or uterus though and it's eased this morning. It's amazing how easily you can convince yourself of symptoms.

Day of diy today. Been saying we're going to 're-do' our bathroom for ages but been putting it off so jumping in and ripping up the floor.... Then we don't have a choice but to get it dobe Grin

waves to everyone x

Morning!

Ninu thats great news, fx for you and hope it's as stress free as it can be Smile

Cep hope you've had a good night with DS and he slept well. Glad you had no more CM, how you doing this morning? Is the 21st the earliest you think they'll scan you? Is that at your EPU?

Welcome Securegal and Minnie, sorry you find yourselves here, you'll get some great support on here, everyone is really friendly and the thread has been pretty lucky so hope it is for you too. Minnie congrats on your engagement - how exciting!

Really sounds like you're having a horribly tough time, glad it wasn't ectopic, hope you're taking it easy and recovering well xx

Collie any more symptoms this morning?

Vegas any sign of AF for you yet? It's so frustrating isn't it, when mentally you really want to get back on with TTC but your body just isn't getting on with it too Angry

Melis I would check with GP just for piece of mind. I shall be harrassing the hospital this week as it'll be 10 weeks since my erpc and I have absolutely no signs any more that af will be here any time soon, it is stressing the hell out of me Angry

I did manage to have (almost) a day of not thinking about it yesterday - DH and I went to London for the day, had lovely lunch, went to the theatre and came home with 2 new pairs of shoes Grin Grin Grin (doesn't matter how much weight I've put on with shoes!)

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday Smile

cep · 13/03/2011 11:01

morning all, Hope you're all ok.

yay ninu Grin ds woke at 5:30 which although i would love a later morning seems to have become a usual time for him to wake. But at least he didn't wake up during the night.

Ninunina · 13/03/2011 09:30

Morning ladies,

No sign of AF this morning, so I think I'll make the brave move of moving to the BFP list :)

Cep hope you've had an uneventful night (with CM & DS). I'm sure you've already googled pink CM, so know that it can me very common and doesn't mean things have gone wrong. I don't blame you for being worried though- I know I would be if I was in the same place.

Thanks for asking how I was, I'm feeling ok, just very tired (much more than last time). I think I got over tired this week, and haven't caught up with my rest yet. Funnily enough, I don't seem to be feeling that sick anymore- maybe my body is getting used to it already.

Minnie welcome to the thread, sorry for your loss, but congrats on your engagement. Mumtum is also planning her wedding, and we all seem to like wedding talk...there are even a few wedding pics if you scroll back to Wednesday's discussions.

cep · 12/03/2011 22:49

hi all, nothing since. but i'll be worried until i get a scan, roll on 21st when i can beg gp to let me have one.

welcome minnie sorry for your loss. and congrats on the engagement.

mel yes go to dr and get some advice. and thanks. Smile

collie thanks, in my head i know they're different but there's a place in there saying i've been here before. Smile

i'm off to bed, still trying to catch up after friday night. night all

meliesmummy · 12/03/2011 21:02

olis good luck and lurk away x

Cep glad bedtime went well. Sorry about the pink cm, if it helps I bled on and off for the first 12 weeks with dd. Can you get to the gp for reassurance? I'll be keeping everything crossed for you xxx

collie I hope those symptoms come to something, when can you test?

Hi Minnie, pull up a cushion and get comfy x

Sad news about AandR, she got her bfp just after I joined, hope she's ok. :(

I've decided to definately see the gp on Monday morning, even if he/she just sends me away at least ive tried, I'm sick of not knowing what's going on. I'm off to bed, ive been up since 5, I'm done in!

Minnie74 · 12/03/2011 20:31

Hi everyone

Would it be ok if I joined too? You all sound lovely.

I had a mc in nov after ttc no1 for a year. Started trying again in jan but no luck yet. Trying hard not to stress but really don't want to wait another year! (I'm 36 by the way)

Got engaged a week ago and really want to set a date but then think i'll just give it another month- very shallow i know but don't want to be eight months pregnant in my wedding pics!! But do really want to be pregnant! And get married-so confusingSmile

Lots of luck to everybody xxxx

Collie2 · 12/03/2011 20:29

Oh cep just realised I missed your post writing my last one. I am sorry you've got spotting.

I think that pink cm can happen and all can be ok, from my occassional lurking on the freak out room I know lots of them have had this. Are you on that thread? Why not post as I'm sure they'll be able to reassure you better than me. It's hard not to worry I know, especially if it's around the same time as your last mc, but this is a diff pg. Try to get lots of rest. Maybe visit your gp and see if you can get a scan? Or hcg tests at least.
((big hugs))

Hi everyone, it's been a quiet few days in the thread, especially for us Smile. I hope everyone is ok?

cep sorry about your ds, poor little fella. No idea what advice to offer but you sound like your doing lots of right things. I hope he sleeps tonight. How's the sickness? Hope it's not too bad x.

securegal welcome to the thread. Sorry for your loss but glad to hear you are recovering slowly.

chloe how are you feeling today? Still no AF I assume? No news is at least good news.

For some of those who know A&R, think she's mc-ing. So sad. She's on the freak out and common room threads.

harassed did you test? Have a nice night tonight.

oils I think waiting to ttc until your ready is good. I hope you will still lurk and post to keep us updated.

No news from me. Tired and a bit grumpy/emotional today. Which is frustrating as had such a lovely day yesterday. I've started symptom spotting despite my greatest efforts not to. I def had one swollen boob- this seemed to happen last time, they swelled at greater rates. Also had couple of hot flushes and had major 'hot' issues last time and my right hand keeps swelling up???? Also had mild pains/cramps last few days. Doing my best not to get any hopes up. Would just really like a few ttc obsessed free days.

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday.

OP posts:
cep · 12/03/2011 19:48

really glad it wasn't an ectopic. when i had my mmc the sac had grown a bit, so if i remember correctly i think i had a little blood then lost the sac then major blood and clots and stuff. But i can't remember if i had blood before the sac or not. Confused

ok just put him to bed, he still said he was scared, but stayed in bed if i stayed in there with him. We stole the light out of dss's room and let him choose if he wanted it on the table or floor. i just stayed till he fell asleep.

oli please do lurk and post if you feel the need to, don't totally disappear. Grin

ok, i'm not feeling too positive today, sorry if a downer, went to loo and had a bit of pink on tissue, checked cm and had bloody cm. went to loo a bit later and had a glob of pink cm. it's about the same time as last pg when i had similar and then went for my first scan, so now thinking isn't going to well. Sad

olismum23 · 12/03/2011 17:25

Hi all
just a quick one to say my DH and I are going to stop TTC for a while. I am going to try very hard to get fit and lose my comfort weight first. Is it ok if i still lurk??

meliesmummy · 12/03/2011 17:18

Hi everyone, back from work and very tired, day shifts are hard work!

Cep that sounds like hard going, have you tried posting on a behaviour thread? The things that help dd to settle are a night light and we've told her that monsters are scared of her teddy so it's his job to take care of her at night. I hope it goes well tonight x

really it sounds like you're going through a lot, at least it turned out not to be ectopic though. I don't know about passing it naturally sorry, I had a medically managed one but I'm sure someone else will know, look after yourself over the next few days x

Hi new ladies x

Thanks LILI, more fresh blood this afternoon, I feel like this whole process is never ending! I think I'll go to the gp, I want this to be sorted.

I think I'm going to offer to buy dh and dd dinner, can't be arsed to cook/supervise dh cooking!

Reallyusefulengine · 12/03/2011 17:05

Hello all,

Am back from hospital. Had the laparoscopy and they didn't find the pregnancy in the tubes, it turned out to be in the uterus afterall but not growing properly. They didn't remove it as they wanted to scan the next day just in case and I'm now miscarrying and have the start of a pinkish bleed (nice shade, slightly like my bridesmaid's outfits) and achy cramps. My HCG levels have plummeted so am just waiting for it all to start happening properly. Although I don't quite know what to expect. Am uncomfortable from the surgery and the stitches etc and still feel a bit breathless but would like it to happen rapidly if poss. Any advice? Only remembered I had no pads just before bed and had to fashion one out of half a nappy (yes, really.) for night time.

I hope everyone is well and hello to the new people. Can I add my stats too? I will definately be sticking around Smile

cep · 12/03/2011 16:19

welcome securegal sorry you find yourself here, but the ladies on here are fantstic.

ninu how are you feeling hon? i'm hoping it's a very short phase, will see tonight, he had a good night sleep last night and dh has taken him to the park so he should be good and tired. i didn't get much ms with ds only when i wasn't eating, so i just made sure i was eating all the time. Grin

Ninunina · 12/03/2011 15:43

ceo so sorry your ds is having trouble sleeping. I used to be so scared of the dark. Still am sometimes. I hope it's just a phase. Sorry you're feeling sick too. Did you suffer from ms with ds?

Welcome newbies, there seem to be a lot of you this week. I'm sorry you're here, but it will provide you with a lot of support, plus it's a lucky thread, so you've come to the right place.

jkklpu · 12/03/2011 14:28

Securegal - Welcome and very sorry you're here. I just joined a couple of days ago and everyone has been very kind. Impressed you've worked out all the acronyms already; there are still a few that mystify me ....

securegal · 12/03/2011 11:54

Hi all,

Can I join you ladies please? I was diagnosed with a MMC on 2 March at 9 weeks and had ERPC on 3 March. I am slowly getting myself back on track and, although we are going to wait for my first af before thinking about trying, I thought it would be nice to join you all here!

MMC#1 2/3, ERPC 3/3, WTTC, WFC(!), UCL 28 days

Hoping for lots of luck for you all!

i spoke to her yesterday about helping him sleep through the night, cause at that time i wasn't expecting him to be like he was last night. i'm hoping that he was that bad cause he was so tired. will see tonight. Am thinking of trying to find another lighting system so that the shadows don't fall that way. maybe having little play in his room, It's weird he seems to have no problem being in his room just trying to sleep in the bed. bed is opposite the dresser so obviously when he opens his eyes he can see the gap straight away. Am changing things anyway such as the stories we read before bed and things like that so hopefully it'll be a passing phase.

how are you vegas ?
