If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

cep hope it's nothing to worry about. think you're admirable for not going to gp yet, but totally understand as it can't stop anything happening. It might give you a bit or reassurance though if all is ok?
(((HUGS))) keep resting. Are you in work tomorrow?

OP posts:
shorty100 · 13/03/2011 19:25

Hello everyone, hope you are well. Hope everything is o.k cep, its such a worrying time. Still no af for me coming up for 8 weeks now, think i'm going to get my self back to the doctors next week, not sure what they can do though. X

cep · 13/03/2011 19:02

i spoke too soon earlier, a bit more pink and a little bit of red. it's after doing a no2 (sorry tmi) so not sure if i should be worried or not. Still plnning to wait till dr's to ask for scan, even if i get one now it couldn't stop anything (if anything was going to happen.)

LILI80 · 13/03/2011 19:00

melis Good luck for the docs melis you're doing the right thing by getting it checked out.

collie AF hasn't arrived yet but do not feel pg at all! and a another test yesterday revealed a BFN. Am beginning to wonder if maybe I should be counting from that second bleed I had in which case I would only be on cd24. FX for you chick really hoping this is the month for you.

cep Sorry to hear about the pink mucus but I remember getting that with my DD and everything turned out ok. I'll be keeping my fx that everything will be ok but I'm sure it will be.

Hello to all the new ladies that have join us Smile

Blackkat · 13/03/2011 18:54

Hello everyone

Cep so pleased that you are ok, was worried when I read your first post, but relieved to read the second.

Ninu brave you, moving up a list!! Grin Grin Congratulations. I like your thinking of list idea.

Hello to minnie from other thread and welcome to noodle sorry you need to be here, but glad you found us!

Chloe Ifat sorry to hear AF has got you. Chloe I can imagine how scared you must feel about leaving home, I am terrified of "leaking" at work, my boss has white sofas in his office.

Arti lovely to hear from you, glad the first results were good.

Olis you must stay to lurk please do!

Collie impressed by your DIY and by your determination not to POAS. Grin

Mel not sure I can help but sure that Dr Google is not the way forward either Smile sorry not to be any more help.

Shorty hope you're feeling better?

harassed how are you?

to brooke, hadrian banana, lily, really, skitoo and everyone else I've not namechecked, sorry!!

Collie2 · 13/03/2011 18:29

Xpost again melies glad it's stopped. Let us know what the doc says tomorrow x

Grin at your fish in hand! I have no faith in me either, but I thought I'd have caved earlier than 9 dpo, even though it's way to early! My first response packet says can detect pg 6 days b4 af due though... and that's tomorrow!! Confused

OP posts:
Collie2 · 13/03/2011 18:16

Xpost cep and brooke

melies somehow missed your last post. Try to be calm. Google really is the devil. I don't have any answers but in all likelihood it's probably easily explained by something like cep suggested. Make an apt to see to your gp tomorrow and get the reassurances or any tests you might need. I know it's really easy for me to say (and trust me I have my own freak outs) but try not to worry, it will do nothing other than stress you out and make you ill. I'm sure you have just dislodged some old blood or something. X

meliesmummy · 13/03/2011 18:12

Hi noodle, glad you found your way here.

Cep at our surgery you have to phone at 8:20 (getting thru is always fun) and you get an appointment for that day. It's stopped now, it looked exactly like what I had when I was pg with dd. Altho that was never after dtd. What about you? Any new blood in your cm?

Fish at the ready for collie!

Collie2 · 13/03/2011 18:01

Welcome minnie (sorry I didn't say hi this morning how rude of me) and noodle sorry for your losses, but glad you joined us.

Tokyo sorry about your wft cycle. It's a horrid period what a strange thing that you dd said. Have you asked her why she's asked that?

chloe so so sorry that AF arrived. Gutted for you. Do you have any thoughts on what the spotting might have been? You're periods sound awful. Have you managed to have a nice weekend?

arti nice to hear from you. I'm so sorry about your molar pg. I never posted on your mc thread but did pop on when I heard. I'm glad your first test of results have come back ok. Fx that you continue to get the all clear! I hope you will still lurk and post.

Sad AF got you ifatfirst

No testing for me yet (can't remember who asked) trying to wait as long as I can. Trying to hold out till Friday... Hmm

cep · 13/03/2011 17:56

evening all,

arti ofcourse you can lurk and post as you want, am so glad to see your doing well. I think dark days are completely normal at any stage afterwards as always feel free to rant on here if you need to. Smile

ifat sorry af arrived. good luck for ttc.

skitoo it's funny what dtes we get into our head isn't it.

mel calm sweet. have you booked an appointment at the dr yet (or was that only yesterday we discussed thta?) It could just be that blood from recent bleeding had just pooled at cervix and got disturbed while dtd. Speak to dr at appointment.

noodle welcome, am sorry for your loses. is a fab place here, feel free to rant and rage as you need to.

brooke89 · 13/03/2011 17:54

Hello ladies,

This thread is moving fast!!

Welcome to everyone new :) and sorry for your losses...

Hello everyone [waves] hope youve all had a good weekend :)

we need to make this thread lucky and get lots of BFPS soon!

noodle69 · 13/03/2011 17:36

Hi Im noodle. I had a miscarriage and then went on to have a daughter. I then had another miscarriage last May. Starting TTC from now so hello everyone

meliesmummy · 13/03/2011 16:24

arti glad your recovery is going well x

I'm having a bit of a freak out (tmi alert). I hadnt had any spotting since this morning so was getting round to the idea that everythings fine then whilst dd was asleep we had some unplanned sff which was nice till I started bleeding fresh blood! Now that's never happened to me after sex before, I made the mistake of googling and lots of horrid stuff came up. My rational side says that I've prob got trauma from the scans and exams up there, or it's the cervical erosion I had during my first pg come back to haunt me but I'm scared ive either got some permanent cervical damage (the exam I had in hospital was just awful!) or it's going to carry on and we'll be told not to dtd for weeks and I'll never get pg again! Arrrrr!

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 13/03/2011 15:49

AF got me this morning :( so much for being extra fertile after a M/C Hmm Oh well, roll on the next week when we can start SWI again

skitoo · 13/03/2011 15:34

Cep know exactly what you mean about the date for scan. If I'm lucky enough to get there I have a 7 week thing too - I had a scan at 6+4 on xmas eve where they told me they couldn't confirm whether it was viable or not, I then had to wait 10 days for another scan for them to confirm it wasn't, the sh*ttest xmas ever! I really don't want to have to go through that again so would prefer not to have one before 7 weeks.

Chloe sorry af got you, hope the clomid isn't too bad this cycle.

I think the "thinking of" list is a nice idea too x

Tokyo sorry to hear WTF is messing you around, hope she arrives soon or better still if you are ttc then not at all. Think I've had 3 nights of cramps etc in the last 5 weeks where I expected to wake up to it but didn't Confused.

Sounds like a good plan Olis, would love to do that myself but don't have time on my side, aarrrggghhh!

artifarti · 13/03/2011 15:18

Just popping back from molar pg land to say hello - I still lurk on here and I suppose technically I am waiting to TTC so hope that's okay!

Congrats to the BFPs! And hope everyone else is okay. I have had my first results back and they were good so hoping that next week's are back to normal and then I will only have to be monitored until July. AF has also returned which is a good sign. Am also trying to get fit (waves to olis!) and have signed up for a 10k (I never run!) to support research into molars. Also planning lots of holidays. Grin Still have some dark days, as I'm sure you all do too - when other people announce their pregnancies etc. and I have 'not fair, why me?' days. All very similar to post-mc feelings really.

I could never keep up with this thread very well at the best of times Grin but do sneak on to see how everyone is doing so hope it's okay to pop up now and again. And hopefully I will be SMEGing and POASing with the best of you before long.

cep · 13/03/2011 13:58

chloe sorry to hear af here. i may get you to come paint his bedroom, Grin i do plain paint and even then dh finds something wrong with it. Hmm

tokyo good to see you. sorry your wtf cycle is living up to it's name.

when i moved ladybee i just said sorry to hear about the loss as we thought that is what you would want, hope you don't mind and hope you're ok and then put her on the wttc list. It is difficult knowing what to do though cause either way you don't want to upset them.

olismum23 · 13/03/2011 13:55

Thanks for asking chloe and thanks everyone for letting me lurk! even though i wont be Smeging of ov sticks or any of that i will still be DTD so i suppose you can never not fully be trying.

My AF has not turned up but i am sure i am not pregnant i feel like its coming but i understand it might take a while this cycle.

As for getting fit i have rejoined the Gym and I am going to start doing CaniX with my dogs just for fun i never stick to diets so i am basically going to avoid chocolate and crisps!

I am sorry to hear of people m/c after getting BFP :(

Chloe55 · 13/03/2011 13:13

I think it's a lovely idea to have a 'thinking of' list. Good plan ninu

meliesmummy · 13/03/2011 13:13

meliesmummy · 13/03/2011 13:11

No problem ninu, I did my first list on Friday and messed it up!

Bit Sad about being put back down there but also pleased that at least I am not randomly spotting anymore, however, am producing my usual horrendous blood clots again and making a mess of my clothes regularly Sad It just totally f*cks up my social life as it makes me scared to leave the house for fear of an accident! Have had my Clomid this morning too - I know it's best to take it at night but I feared with all the spotting etc then this might not be my true second day so didn't want to leave it any longer.

Welcome to the new ladies who have joined over the past few days, I hope your days here are short in the nicest possible way.

Cep Re your spotting - it must be very scary for you but you know yourself that it can also be very normal so try and look at it positively (although much easier said than done) As far as your ds goes - my ds went through a very similar phase at that age. He always has a night light but shadows and anything ((even the man who was in his room ShockConfused) was scaring him, I have no idea who said man was to this day??!! Anyway, just an idea but could you decorate it differently or let him stick his own artwork or something on the wall that seems to be causing the problem? Ds recently went through the being scared phase again but since I have redecorated his room we have had absolutely no more scared episodes.

Olismum Of course you can still lurk! Have you decided how you will go about getting fit? Do you have a plan?

Tokyo My AF has been totally different since my last MC so perhaps you may get AF soon but you might cramp for a little longer before it comes than you were used to?

Collie I will be keeping my fingers crossed that you will be one of the lucky ones this month! Enjoy the DIY.

Vegas It is very frustrating waiting for your body to get back to normal, I hope your body starts to regulate itself properly soon, that goes for all you ladies waiting for AF to show up since your MCs.

Ninu Nice to see you taking that extra scary step onto the BFP list! Grin

Hello to everyone else who I haven't named or who is lurking.

Ninunina · 13/03/2011 12:59

So for messing up your dates meliesmum. Can everyone else check to make sure I didn't mess up anyone elses?

Collie perhepas we could put them down as "thinking of.."? or put them back on the WTTC list. I wouldn't put A&R down yet since nothing's been confirmed, and I'm hoping she'll be ok.

I knew someone who was sure she had a m/c and when she went for her scan, it turned out that she was pg with triplets, and had lost one, but the other two were ok...so you never know.

Tokyotwist · 13/03/2011 12:46

Hmmm, I am convinced something is happening. Have no idea what though? This WTF stage is not called that for nothing. Almost 6 wks since MC.

I woke up with such cramps this morning I was convinced my period had started. It hasn't and a left over OPK read negative, so no sign of ovulating yet.

Cramps are still here and def feel like period pains. WTF is going on? Confused

And why, when we never told dd we were pregnant has she suddenly started asking where the baby has gone. It doesn't bother me but I do find it very strange and a bit nice (if that doesn't make me seem weird).

Oh and hello everyone. Apologies for jumping straight in to me me me. I hope everyone is well and hello to all the new ladies. Sorry to see you here, but this is a lovely thread.

Collie2 · 13/03/2011 12:06

just had a thought about the list. There are a couple of bfp's that have been sadly lost. Hairy and digi I think have mc since. Also A&R but still early days for her and hoping she's wrong. What's do people think we should do with the list? What have you done in the past?
