If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC

For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Sorry shorty meant to say good luck tomorrow x

meliesmummy · 15/03/2011 08:50

cep good luck with the dr, hope you don't have to wait too long, keep us posted!

:( to bfns collie and LILI.

My friend has got endometriosis Chloe and although it took 2 years she's got a little boy the same age as my dd. Would treatment delay your tcc for long, and would it then increase your chances of a pg hugely? Or not make much difference? I'm loving the fake names at the bottom idea!

I know what you mean about wanting a 2011 baby, I wanted to have my baby when dd starts part time school in sept so I'd have time with the baby and time all together in the afternoon, and so I'd be on mat leave when I have to pick her up at 11:40 (ie not enough time for a decent sleep after nights), having an edd in august was perfect, plus I want next Christmas off work!!!!

Anyway off to bed, long night not helped by a rude person.

shorty100 · 15/03/2011 08:13

Morning ladies. Collie I know what you mean about wanting a 2011 baby I feel the same, think its because I had planned everything around this year and doesn't feel right that it won't be.

Cep you are so strong to hold out going to the doctors. Hope everything is o.k. For you.

Well i'm at 8 weeks now and still no sign of af, got a doctors appointment tomorrow evening so will see what they say. I haven't done a test for around a week. Hate that bfn. X

Chloe55 · 15/03/2011 07:55

collie sorry about your BFN, but like Cep says, 11dpo is still early but I know what you mean about losing all hope when when you see the BFN Sad

cep I think it's prob a good idea for the scan, if anything to stop you worrying a little and allow you some serenity at least for a short while.

ninu great news re your symptoms (seems weird to write that we are happy someone feels like crap Grin) lets hope they stay for another couple of months!

Mellie Yes, I have been diagnosed with endometriosis in the past, however, it was before ds (5 years ago), I had surgery and haven't been bothered by it too much since again so I am getting worried that it's coming back with a vengeance Sad I will look into Spatone, thanks.

LILI I will keep my fingers xd for you.

Well another heavy night here but hoping it will calm down today as at least my AF length is a little shorter on clomid, every cloud has a silver lining and all that!

Thanks for doing the stats cep although I hate being right at the bottom Sad Can we start making names up and put them underneath mine? Grin

LILI80 · 15/03/2011 07:43

oh yes and forgot to add woke up with two juicy red spots on my face! Mother nature really knows how to kick you when you're feeling down!!!

LILI80 · 15/03/2011 07:39

morning ladies

Sad another BFN. So that's it no more testing!!

Feel like total crap not least because today I'm supposed to be taking DD to a playgroup where lots of pg friends are and tomorrow got got friend with newborn coming round and my pg friend! arrgghh it's going to be torture Sad

collie that is early. If AF is due Friday could you try and be super strong and hold off til then? 9(ha says she who has been constantly testing!) Don't give up hope yet chick. I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

cep So glad you're going to docs. Had meant to post to say think you should go but been a bit self obsessed lately! Def push for the scan and let us know how you get on. FX for you too. Will be thinking of you xx

Someone asked if I was getting any symptoms (sorry can't remember who it was!) all I'm getting is period like cramps but yesterday got loads of EWCM so much so that I dashed back to the office from my lunch break as thought I'd started! Had a feel for my cervix and it was quite high.

Does anyone know what this means? Can't remember if it meant was ovulating? Or maybe I'm just convincing myself that as don't want to feel like missed out this month!

Hope everyone else is ok?

collie 11dpo is very early. don't forget i had a neg a 11dpo and pos at 13dpo.

i've had bit more blood this morning, not bright red but a bit redder than pink. so am caving and calling dr this morning to ask for a scan.

just realised i haven't done the stats for a little while sorry ladies.

Collie2 · 15/03/2011 06:52

BFN for me this morning Sad and strangely actually woke up feeling a lot less optimistic and almost didn't bother poas. Feeling really quite deflated. It's gutting isn't it. Bcs of my cycles this is our last chance for a 2011 baby which I know shouldn't matter, but i just feel like 2012 is so long away and that it should have been 2011. Sad

hadrian right back at you about the weight gain although mines also from the begining of pg when I took it as an excuse to stuff my face! Blush

OP posts:
Minnie74 · 14/03/2011 23:10

Just popping in to say hi. Chloe your friend sounds pretty insensitive to me. Definitely makes you need a drink!
Bit fed up today as lots of people at work were baby talking- 2 soon-to-be aunties and 2 new grandmas- I know its exciting and i am really pleased for them but it just makes me think of what i'm missing. And then i saw about a thousand pregnant women on the way home! (Ok maybe just two Smile)
And to top it all i've put three pounds on over the weekend! God knows how cos i've given up chocolate for lent-which come to think about it could be why i'm ranting!Blush

hadrian · 14/03/2011 22:36

Ha Grin back at you collie. I might start a diet on CD1 just to maximise the misery. I was at the zoo today and when I went on the 'compare your weight to a giant tortoise' machine I found out that I have put on 4 kgs since MC. The indignity of it all!

I work in the public sector too and my organisation has to make 50% cuts in the next four years. I don't even know if we can still exist after a cut that size. Although tbh I wouldn't mind the redundancy pay out.

Collie2 · 14/03/2011 21:59

Ok sorry for all the typos in the last post! On phone and didn't spell check Blush hope somone could make sense of some of it. Grin

Grin at Hadrian I'm the one who usually wants to watch depressing terrorism or politics shows so shouldn't complain. I even recorded dispatches to watch the depressing news of public sector cuts getting fat cats rich. Why why why???? Maybe i'll save that till cd1, just to top it off! Grin

OP posts:
hadrian · 14/03/2011 21:52

Ha collie your post made me lol. My DH is very sweet too and I feel like a horrible ogre in comparison sometimes. Although saying that we are lying on the sofa and he is watching some depressing programme about terrorism and won't let me watch my show about music festivals which I have been saving up all day.

chloe Angry at your so-called friend, Sad about your nasty period but Grin at the milk tray!

Go nina, your symptoms sound fantastic!

Collie2 · 14/03/2011 21:43

What else have I got to catch up on? I'm on my phone so it's hard work checking back. Not heard from mumtum for a while???

chloe your AF sounds truely awful I don't know how you manage. You can get adult 'nappies' / pants, in the towel section have you seen them? I considered getting them during mc as didn't know what to expect.

lily how's you? Still no AF either? I stalked Looked at your chart the other day and thought it odd that ff didn't put your ov after your big dip but then again I'm very much a ff novice.

Brooke the positive test is v strange. I would have thought that if you've had 2 -ive tests that should rule out ectopic... Are you still bleeding?

Ok, symptom spotting update. Still got cramps (although don't actually feel
Like cramps, just a dull pain) Bern mainly on left but today on right. Been on Dr google and have been Reading all about horrid things that pain could be Such as ectopic and molar, all of which I am have Grin Grin

Felt a bit nauseous again in car on way to work, with dry wretching (sorry tmi) but i swear you can think yourself I'll if you want to)

Not sure if should poas tomorrow -11dpo or wait longer???? Do I need fish flapping?

Just sitting here will dh watching treme which we've recorded off sky. I can't get into it. When does desperate housewives cone back Grin

OP posts:
Ninunina · 14/03/2011 21:33

Your....not you're!!! My spelling is bad enough- my phone doesn't help with predictive text.

Lili fx that you'll have some good POAS news tomorrow. Are you still feeling symptoms?

Cep hope you're not too worried. If it's still pink and only a bit when you wipe, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

I'm a bit undecided about when to get my dating scan. I know it needs to be soon if I want to book myself in at Kingston Hospital, but I think I'll feel so deflated if I go this week and they will see nothing.

Although, in saying that, I'm sure there is something there...I'm certainly getting the symptoms. Feeling really super tired, mega sore boobs, sick (but haven't actually puked) and also have a strong sense of smell. I didn't have such strong symptoms last time round. I think it was probably doomed to start with...looking back, it took a long time for the HPT to get stronger, whilst this time it got strong even before AF was due.

Please note, I'm not complaining....I'm enjoying the fact that I'm experiencing symptoms. It's comforting.

Collie2 · 14/03/2011 21:32

Monster I mean. Grin

OP posts:
Collie2 · 14/03/2011 21:28

Pmsl at my own rage in my last post to chloe maybe a little too angry on your behalf. Sorry if just totally slated an actual friend, although now I know she IS the friend with the scan I def do think she is a eejit! If you don't feel you can say anything about this I would wait for the next time and then bring it up, as by the sounds of her, there will be another incident. Maybe it she was a good friend before she just doesn't realise what she's doing. I am sure to some 'outsiders' (aka those lucky sods that just sail through pg) our reactions would seem overly sensitive which might make them oblivious.

LILI still no AF! Am v impressed by your lack of poas over past 2 days, I think I'd have been peeing on several a day by now Smile fx for you in the morning. I'll be checking in for an update.

mels glad gp thinks it's nothing to worry about. The sheer lack of communication across services does astonish me!

cep sorry your still getting a bit of bleed. How's ds tonight?

chloe your dh is the milk tray man Grin he's sooooo lovely! And he got the cheese Wine and choc last week too, bless him.

My dh can be v sweet too [sickening emoticon] but I do get a tad fed up of everyone telling me how blooming lovely he is and do I know how lucky I am. Errrrm excuse me, but he's lucky too you know, I am an absolute angle and not a stress head and rage bursting moster.... Hmm Grin

OP posts:
Ninunina · 14/03/2011 21:09

chloe you have every right to rant. You're friend is being insensitive and self absorbed. Life doesn't stop when your pregnant. She needs to understand that you have every right to still have fun.

Could it be that her pregnancy hormones are getting the better of her. Or perhaps it's only dawning on her that these nights out will soon be a thing of the past once baby arrives and is feeling a bit sorry for herself. Either way, she's totally out of order.

meliesmummy · 14/03/2011 20:57

Chloe that sounds awful, have you tried spatone? I used it when I was pg, more gentle than tablets. Did you discuss your periods with your consultant? Have they ever investigated you for endometriosis? (sorry if you've mentioned that before and ive forgotten!)

Brooke that's odd, I'd do another test tomorrow to make sure. It might be that there's a tiny bit left, it doesn't necessarily mean ectopic.

Fingers crossed then LILI!

Keep strong till Monday then Cep x

brooke89 · 14/03/2011 20:47

Yeah, it is strange isnt it, i'll have to wait till the morning now, worried cause if my levels are still there could is hint towards eptopic?

hope everythings ok cep and you too lili xxx

LILI80 · 14/03/2011 20:15

Evening ladies

chloe cannot believe your 'friend' how insensitive!

melis glad you got some sort of answer at gps, although unbelieveable about the lack of notes on your m/c!

Well my AF hasn't arrived yet so that makes me a day late. Didn't test yesterday or today as didn't want disappointment of another BFN. Might do 1 more tomorrow and if it's BFN then I won't test until 23 March which would be my next test day based on the second bleed I had. What a pain in the ass this is all turning into! I actually got to the point today where I wanted AF to arrive so I knew where I was!!

Anyway I'm off to bed early tonight as I've just finished 12 hours at work and I'm absolutely knackered!

Night night to all

cep · 14/03/2011 19:46

chloe i think you should take some if you have some, see how it goes. That does seem really heavy, might be worth speaking to gp about it, or your specialist, if you can actually get through.

brooke that is weird. agree with chloe test again tomorrow.

hope all is ok. More pink tonight again after bowel movement Blush still hanging in till monday.

Chloe55 · 14/03/2011 18:38

brook that's very odd about your tests - it's very rare to get a false positive however I doubt very much, I'm afraid, that even if you did happen to conceive again this month then it would be showing on a test at the moment. I would take another test tomorrow morning just to make sure that your levels are reading negative so that you don't get any false hope if you are swi.

brooke89 · 14/03/2011 18:34

awww &chloe* :( that made me mad reading it cant believe how unsensative she was!Id give her a call if your feeling :( and just say look you were a bit quiet was everything ok? and then see what she says...

blackat hope everything is ok with your dad!

babies hello and sorry for your loss, everyone is really lovely here and has helped me so much, so hope it helps for you.

ladies, i have got a very wierd situation...remember the other day i said i did a POAS and it was negative which was good because i thought my levels were back to normal. well this morning i did one (just for the sake of it because my ebay ones came in the post ha! ) and it was positive? i did another and it was negative? do you think it was just a dodgy test? I know i cant be pregnant because i only miscarried at the start of the month??? or could i be???

[waves] to everyone :)

xx

Chloe55 · 14/03/2011 18:06

Oh don't get me wrong, sometimes my dh is a total arse! GrinOk, maybe tmi coming up but I think I might be having my heaviest af yet. I am currently sporting 2 large pads and everytime I go to the toilet I can physically feel myself passing lots of clots. None of them are bigger than a penny though which is when it's an issue I think. I have been feeling lightheaded all day but put it down to the Clomid but am now wondering whether it might be blood loss? Do you reckon iron tablets would help?
