collie good luck for today. i don't see it in the urine but it only seems to be (touch wood) on a wipe after fmu. I have to admit i don't remember getting blood with a uti before. When i went to the scans for bleeding during last pg they just said they didn't know where it was coming from, didn't test for anything. I'm waiting for the dr to call me back don't know if they'll test today but if i don't ask...etcetc. if it isn't at least i'll have crossed it off the list.

chloe ooh goodluck was it tomorrow you said?

Chloe55 · 16/03/2011 09:04

cep I was gonna suggest poss uti aswell.

milky Great news on you and dh giving things another go, I hope it's 5th time lucky for you! Where you going on your hols?

shorty Sorry you feel Sad today. It's a horrible waiting game this TTC lark.

collie I have been out of work since Jan this year (my choice) and childminded before that but joined a locum vet nurse agency back in Jan too as thought that I should do some sort of work. Forgot all about it as not heard from them then they asked me to do this one day so I thought I may aswell go for it, it will also help me decide if I want to go back to my trained career or not I guess. It has unfortunately prompted my mum into thrusting all vet nurse jobs under the sun in my face again. She is struggling to understand why I would choose to be out of work at the moment (I come from a very hard working family ethos) but it is working for me at the moment and she forgets just how prone I am to MC with my medical problems so am not prepared to take any risks particularly with vet nursing and childminding, both careers that involve lots of lifting/kicking etc. At least with locum work I can pick and choose. I wouldn't mind but she also forgets that if I get a permanent position I won't be cleaning her house anymore! Grin

Woooaahh that rant came from nowhere! Blush

Collie2 · 16/03/2011 08:58

just popping on quickly. cep is the blood in the urine? Does sound like could be a uti read this sounds like they are common in pg women. Also says first test is just a dip stick in your pee followed by more detailed test. It does say you should get it checked out asap, so I would wait for scan as I wouldn't think they'd test for it there.

oils I hope your feeling better this morning x

Morning, cep hope everything is o.k and next week doesn't take too long to come.

Well I took a test this morning and was bfn again, its really got me down this time. Doctors tonight though so will see what they say. X

cep · 16/03/2011 07:43

mel round here it'll take a few days to get the blood app, so i wouldn't get hte results till next week anyway. I was wondering about a uti, i do get them quite often, and had 1 in last pg although no i didn't get watery blood with it. I might try and see if i can get another appointment to check a uti out, see what they say.

meliesmummy · 16/03/2011 07:29

Hi everyone! Just realised I've got my pre seed mixed up with conceive plus and made up my own name for it, the boots version I bought is called conceive plus. Once we got over the giggles it was fine, not sticky which is what I was worried about!

Good luck today collie, sounds stressful!

Sorry you're still bleeding Cep, could you go and ask for hcg levels if they won't scan you? Did you have watery blood your last pg? Could it be in your wee rather than from up there? In which case it could be a uti, maybe get a urine sample sent to make sure? It's important to treat utis during pg.

Hi to everyone else!

Ninunina · 16/03/2011 07:17

You know your body best. I'm glad you don't have any pain. That is a good sign. If you get any more, maybe just call to be sure. They will treat it as an emergency if the feel there is a chance it's an ep.

cep · 16/03/2011 07:08

i've not been getting any stomach pains with it, infact since i turned 6 weeks my odd aches seem to have stopped. I've got a scan on monday, epu won't do me before 7 weeks.

Ninunina · 16/03/2011 07:00

ceo I don't want to scare you, but watery blood could be a symptom of an ectopic pregnancy. I think you need to call your gp straight away. I'm sure it's not it, but you need to have it checked.

cep · 16/03/2011 06:53

olis hope you're ok.

collie good luck for today.

brooke that's disgusting, he has no right to challenge you infront of your colleagues.

Well i had watery red on wipe this morning (no no2) was weird did wee wiped no blood, wiped again and watery red, (of course kept wiping at this point) and a few wipes of lighter watery red. needed another wee a bit later and no blood. why would i only bleed in the fmu? (fx that's it for today) still feeling sick, doesn't seem fair. dh already reckons we're going to lose it. Sad

olismum23 · 15/03/2011 22:24

:( still getting pains i will call NHS 24 if they are as bad tomorrow.

Collie2 · 15/03/2011 22:07

cep not illogical just scared! Totally understandable, everyone here would be the same. Think sticky thoughts! Grin

Brooke what an arsehole boss you have!! Angry for you! Did you tell him about the mc? I hope he was ashamed! Poor you. You should make it known how inappropriate he was.

Whooo chloe first day back to it in 3 years!! How exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. Just the one day? What made you do that?

waves to harassed Sad for your bfn. How are you doing? Glad you're still here.

mels hope you had lots of fun with the preconcieve! Grin
hugs to blackkat hope your dad is ok.

In bed as type. Early night for me. Got big presentation to give to my board tomorrow. All the GPs that will 'take control' when the pct is abolished will be there so need to make a good impression!

No poas for me tomorrow, need to be focused! Feels like I'm going for a bloody interview!

Nighty night campers!

milkyway2007 · 15/03/2011 20:24

Hi everyone! DH and I have decided to start "trying" again when we're on holiday next month! Ofcourse, I am terrified because of the 4 previous mc's but I need to give it one last try, this time using aspirin to see if it makes a difference. Will definitely defer from the course if I get past the 12 week milestone. Feeling more positive in life on the whole!

olismum23 After my last mc, I had very bad stabbing pains in my lower right abdomen about a week or two before my first AF. I put it down to ovulation. I know its not in the back - but could you be ovulating? I know that ectopics are accompanied with a pain in the left arm. I hope the pain goes away for you.

meliesmummy · 15/03/2011 19:35

olis if it helps when I had pains when I was 5 weeks pg I was told ectopics don't show up until later so its unlikely to be that but you should prob still get it checked.

sg it's a lubricant that is meant to keep sperm alive for longer, im going to use it for the first time bcos of my recent problems. Not sure how it'll go!

olismum23 · 15/03/2011 18:37

Hi girls i really need advice i am having extreme pains in my lower left back gradual short sharp stabbing pains. Did anyone else get pains like this before there first AF after m/c?

I am very concerned but i know hospital wont do much especially on CD31 when my AF is due.

Any help appreciated.

securegal · 15/03/2011 18:18

meliesmummy - what is preconceive? Sorry for the dumb questions (there may well be more, just to warn you!) - I am still getting the hang of all this!

securegal · 15/03/2011 18:15

I'm really sorry Cep that you are going through this. You are probably right though, it is often too early to hear a hb and the last thing you want is to spend the week even more worried than you are (likely for no reason). So stressful - I really hope that everything is OK!

Brooke - what an awful thing for your line manager to do. I hope that he was suitably ashamed when you told him what had happened. What on earth is wrong with these people. Just because you don't "look" ill to him doesn't mean that there isn't something really significant happening. What a cretin. I was so worried about the way my boss would behave, but they have been absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for more. I have to say, though, I am dreading going back and trying to explain to the rest of the team (who don't know what has happened) why I have been away for so long. I hope that you feel better - give that netball a battering!!

meliesmummy · 15/03/2011 17:47

Brooke your manager sounds like an arse! How insensitive! I hope that he apologised.

skit glad you've got answers at last.

I went to boots, I've never used anything like that before so should be interesting! Dd insisted on carrying it to the till, hope no one saw! And why is it that I cant go within 50m of the early learning centre without buying anything?! We ended up with more playmobil, a guinea pig for the (toy) farm, a days/months/weather calendar and one of those kits with pictures and laces to thread through. Im hopeless!

Chloe55 · 15/03/2011 17:41

OMG brooke!! That's unbelievable - what did he say when you told him about the MC? I hope he felt positively guilty Angry Do you know, there have been a few ladies on here having problems with their line management, it actually makes me very glad that I don't have a paid job at the moment!!

However, I do have my first full day of work with a vet nurse temp agency at a little branch on Thursday. I am so so nervous, haven't vet nursed for about 3 years! Eeek.

skitoo · 15/03/2011 16:47

Wow this thread moves fast. Have been a bit self absorbed for the last few days worrying about my lack of AF. I finally got to see a specialist at the hospital yesterday who after an extensive examination (don't you just love the dildocam!) confirmed that I don't have Ashermans or any adhesions caused by the ERPC - hoorah! I just have an incredibly thin womb lining that they hope to be able to manage. So today is being classed as day 1 and I will be back on the clomid tonight Grin

Cep I have everything crossed for you xx

Waves to everyone else - will catch up later.

brooke89 · 15/03/2011 16:43

collie - No, i only bled for 3 days and didnt even pass any large clots, the only one i did pass looked like a bit of string? (tmi!)scared its still all up there, but ihad another -ve this morning so thats a good sign i guess..

cep i hope everything turns out good for you, keeping all my fingers and toes crossed but i agree with collie, it doesnt mean its all over. blood after no2s is really common!

have fun tonight melies ;)

I think it is a week for everyone to be stressed too chloe i've had an awful day! had to go into the bank where i work today (not the branch i work in but one on the otherside of town) cause i didnt want to see anyone and my area manager was stood there and said infront of EVERYONE why arnt you at work? i replied ive been signed off sick atm due to personal problems and he said "yet your well enough to come out here...you dont look ill? can i have a word?" then took me in a office, and i just completly broke down! so embarassing and i cant believe he had the cheak to question why i was off sick infront of other member of staff! How insensative and unprofessional! My dp had to come and pick me up and i was sick, i know it sounds silly but the last thing i wanted to do was sit in an office and tell someone that id miscarried, i have hardly left our house in 2 weeks because im so nervous of bumping into someone i know and having to tell them....

Sorry for the rant just so Angry atm feel like hes knocked me right back to square one with trying to deal with all this!

Anyway, im off to take some frustration out in my netball training, lets hope i dont get another black eye to top my day off lol!

xx

harassedinherpants · 15/03/2011 16:21

I'm here! MIA for a bit, but poas on Monday and got a BFN. CD29 now and have some cramps but then I've had those for ages..... Would love to know what's going on!

cep I'm so very sorry that you're having to go through all this worry.

Going to have a proper catch up now.

cep · 15/03/2011 16:20

it's weird until this morning i'd only had spotting after no2's. but this morning was a darker pink/light red on a few wipes (1 loo trip) don't seem to have had anything since. I know that sounds hardly anything but it's more than i had in the last pg. I really am hoping that everything is ok. I know you are and all the other fabulous ladies on here are and i really appreciate it. Smile I know i'm being illogical.

Collie2 · 15/03/2011 16:01

Oh cep I'm so so sorry you're going through this worry. How bad is the bleed/spotting? Any pain/cramps? How about other Pg symptoms? I know nothing I can say will stop you from worrying but it really could be ok. A bit of blood doesn't neccessarily mean it's all over. It's very easy for me to say this and I know I'd be just as worried as you are, but please try to take some comfort in our reassuring words.

I think teacakes (is that her name?) story Is one to take strength from as when I checked in a few weeks back it sounded so gloomy for her, but she saw a bursting hb!! I know a hb is not a certainty either, none if it is until the bean comes out, but one step at a time. You'll get there.

I understand your fear of not wanting to go through it again, I don't know how people get through it. But try and stay positive. Every ounce of me is willing your little bean to be sticky!! Xx

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 15/03/2011 16:01

Think it must be a week for us all feeling stressed and hormonal, well apart from melie who should be having lots of fun tonight.

cep You will not find yourself back in that horrible position, it's not allowed - I have every faith your little bean is super sticky.
