If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

shorty book another app with gp for at long as they're let you (mine it's 3 weeks) or 2 if you can't wait longer then go and demand tests, i know it's easier to say than do, but insist as much as you can.

yrmotb not too bad, trying not to stress, getting pink/watery blood after fmu, hoping may be a uti so on antibiotics and hopefully they'll help.

battery about to die so will see you all in the morning, hope you all have a good night.

shorty100 · 16/03/2011 21:49

Well I have waited 8 weeks so i'm sure another few won't hurt.

Cycle came back straight away after last mc. Not a patient person so its driving me mad.

Think its bothered me more because everyone I have been to see just fob me off with its normal and no one will look further into it. Thanks for all your replies x

Collie2 · 16/03/2011 21:49

Hi everyone, I'm back. Lots of lovely chatter tonight. Smile

oils glad to hear af arrive (this once) and you can get back on track.

shorty I'm lost for words with your sh*t gp and epu.

lily Sad for your af.

Grin @ mels dtd on a towel

waves back to yrmotb

yes I have LOTS more tests, some cheapies and some first response. Might test in morning as don't know if I'll be able to hold out till fri now.

Off up for another early night, had a restless night last night.

shorty It has taken variable amounts to time for me to get AF after ERPC. The main thing is that you are now testing negative on your pregnancy test. Of course there are other reasons but as cep said, its still early days. Fingers crossed AF turns up soon.

Youremindmeofthebabe · 16/03/2011 21:23

shorty is this your WTF cycle? I had to wait nearly 9 weeks after my ERPC for my first AF. It's a shitty wait. Apologies if your situation is different. Hugs. Your gp sounds like a right PITA too.

Waves at all.

cep hows it going?

cep · 16/03/2011 20:59

ah. i still don't understand the not a problem. There has got to be a stage where they say ok this is a bit too long now. i did a google search on it and came across a thread kind of like mn, a woman on there said it took 9 weeks for her af to come back. and there was someone on here who it took 9 weeks. it's an awful thought. Maybe leave it a few weeks and then ask for tests again. i don't want to start mentioning possible problems when it's probably too early to tell that anyway.

shorty100 · 16/03/2011 20:45

Sorry cep meant bfp, so used to writing bfn. Think I will try epu again and if get no where will look at changing to a different doctors surgery. X

cep · 16/03/2011 20:43

WHAT!!! that's crap shorty so in a years time if af still not here then that's still not a problem??? i don't understand i thought you were getting bfn's why did she say she couldn't refer you without a bfn.

meliesmummy · 16/03/2011 20:33

shorty it clearly is a problem, she really should be taking you seriously :( , your epu sound most unhelpful too. Sorry you are finding it hard to get answers x

shorty100 · 16/03/2011 20:29

Cep- hope you get some answers soon. The doctor said it wasn't a problem so I asked at what point it becomes a problem and she said it doesn't. I asked to be referred but she said she couldn't without a bfn. Am really down now, thought I would get some answers today x

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 16/03/2011 20:12

Would someone mind updating the list (dodgy laptop won't let me break lines) AF got me on Sunday, so am now on CD4. xx

cep · 16/03/2011 20:03

i know you weren't don't worry. Grin i have noticed, i don't mind being a chief executive officer...at least wouldn't mind the wages. Grin

meliesmummy · 16/03/2011 20:01

Btw my phone always wants to change Cep to CEO which I think is quite funny...

meliesmummy · 16/03/2011 20:00

I wasn't telling you off Cep, I've just read back what I wrote and think I might have come across like that Blush, I just want to reassure you x

cep · 16/03/2011 19:54

Shock am totally horrified.... no seriously i normally try not to am scared of interfering and causing infections or something (i do wash hands before i do) i only did tonight cause of the odd colour on wipe. ironically the only time i last checked cm was when i last got the bloody mucus and a bit of blood which was a week ago last friday i think, can't remember now. Hmm (thinking face by the way)

olismum23 · 16/03/2011 19:51

Just realised on my previous post its meant to say FX collie and banana :)

meliesmummy · 16/03/2011 19:50

If it is erosion Cep it could be that when you are checking your cm you are causing a bit of trauma to the area (the cells that migrate out aren't used to being touched because they should be inside) so I know it would be hard but could you stop yourself from checking? If you don't look for it you won't find it as they say. Sorry if that sounds bossy/harsh.

olismum23 · 16/03/2011 19:49

melies I was never off the list just going to take it a bit easier on myself this month focus more on getting fit but still have lots of SFF Grin, that gets you fit right Wink

cep · 16/03/2011 19:44

mel i'm ok Smile i was just a bit happier when i could said it was only after fmu, which i guess i still can really it was only cm.

meliesmummy · 16/03/2011 19:42

Cep I bled loads more with dd than when I mc, I bled most days between 5 and 12 weeks, sometimes fresh, sometimes brown mucous. When I mc I had the tiniest glob of browny orange goo. So please please don't panic just yet xxxx

cep · 16/03/2011 19:39

olis Grin so glad you're relieved and you finally know where you are.

meliesmummy · 16/03/2011 19:39

Does that mean you're back on the list olis?

cep · 16/03/2011 19:38

xpost ninu i like the spring cleaning, as long as it doesn't decide to throw out the stuff i like i don't mind. Probably not and i know others have had lots more it's just that it's so much more than i had with last pg and look how that turned out. i know each pg is different but it's so infuriating. i din't know watery blood was a sign of ectopic, i knew spotting was and shoulder tip pain with abdom pain but that's it. oh and throwing up.

olismum23 · 16/03/2011 19:35

Yey! sounds mad to be happy but i am so relieved! just been to the loo and it appeers AF is here so maybe yellow CM means AF coming for me! I am actually really happy! I can start again and know where i am!! Grin CD1 for me :)

cep if its not heavy bleeding then i would not worry thats what my MD says to me bleeding during pg is very common I know that wont help how you feel right now big ((((hugs))))

collie and banana

Hi melies and shorty and lili

cep · 16/03/2011 19:35

nope not at all with ds, until i went into labour. that's what keeps freaking me out. there was a bit of a funny colour so did my usual and checked cm, not red but dark pink. i hate all the uncertainty.

shorty did she say when to worry and come back???
